The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

Old & In the Way
Yeah this has been a truly humbling experience to be without my mighty for going on 2 weeks and its scheduled for delivery today. Its bedn sitting at fedex in my vity wince xmas day..waiting for its scheduled delivery date. Oh well it will be here today and i havent recieved a single word from s and b wince i sent mine in besides me bugging them and they saying they had it. So i font know if they fixed mine or sent me new one or what? Ill tell u one thing. All of the people who say if u use mighty with water they will know and not warranty it..i call bull crap on that..i use mighty thru water 95 percent if time and looks like i got something coming to me .theur moisture meter must be broken.
I haven't read of anyone being busted for using the device with a water tool. One member reported being denied warranty because the moisture detection strip was activated. I didn't think he was bullshitting at all, and he reported an eventual resolution to the dispute. That member said his proximity to water was when kayaking. Even if the strip were activated, they wouldn't know the specific reason, only that it happened.

The fact that S&B specifically state that the device is not to be used "over water" causes me and others to think twice about using water tools. After thinking twice, I do it anyway! just carefully so's not to bump it all over and get everything soaking wet!

If you think this is bull crap, maybe next time your device legitimately craps out, drop it in the toilet then dry it off real good before sending it in and let us know how that goes!

Your frustrations will soon be a distant memory!

Enjoy your Mighty in the New Year.

Its the most beautiful thing i have ever seen!! It just feels so solid when new..serial number in 27xxx and the area around bowl looks updated from my model that was the update that feature the 2 minute shut off and all that jazz from like july..vibration is very pronounced with every turn on and off of machine and it raced to temp but if course its brand new..this one feels so nice and solid in the hand..and a solid click when the cu locks into place. I like that..and havent compared chargers but it looks like same one ive had since my first mighty..will update when both are in front of me..

I cleaned my CU out on Christmas, torched the screen then ISO soaked, ISO soaked and warm water rinsed the rest, works like new!!

I hadn't cleaned it in a while, I find it works still pretty great with gunk in it and I'm lazy, but what a difference a clean makes! I'll have to try and keep up with it more. It's like the Mighty dirty is still A class, but cleaned out and fresh it's S class!

I took it to a Christmas party and had numerous people try and buy it on the spot! Lol!

I also noticed, that the sticker on the back is yeah really easily scratched off. Guess I just cut my nails, but I noticed a little line after taking it out to party, and then just tried to make another one myself, which happened with literally no effort lol. This has been covered before (the sticker) but up til now I have had literally nothing to gripe at for 7 months, so I figured it was worth noting the damage. Hopefully that's all I'll ever have, I can dig that!

My Mighty celebrate its one year old today (MY0049XX) :p

Last year it became my daily portable vaporizer in few days : easy to use, to clean, power and large battery life.

My High Frequency Vaping involved some fins broke on the CU and the plastic around the o-ring for the heating chamber, even if Mighty was alway protected in its case.

But nothing attempted to its function, efficiency or power. I did not notice any change with battery life.

In the old word, our neighboor Morocco produces 38 000 tons of hash a year; flowers are rare here.

I ve tried many way to vape hash (direct in oven, with pad, with layer of flower or cotton) until I discovered @herbivore21 method, with pads and screen, which is IMO the best one in term of efficiency, easy to use and to clean : best vape for hash. I suggest to add a screen on top of hash layer avoiding to clean top pad.

Thanks Mighty users for sharing tips and advices :)

Long life the Mighty !

I am so glad to see that you benefited from my technique for hash in the mighty! I no longer own mine but I still use the s & b mighty oil pads for hash in other vapes! The things are amazing!

I may be more of a taste snob but try opening up the CU and take a look/sniff after a bunch of uses. That smell makes me wanna puke, which is why i'm always on top off of it, and have some spares to use. A dirty cooling unit definitely affects the Mighty's incredible flavour!

From bottom to top : 1/3 pad + 1 screen + hash layer + 1 screen + 2/3 pad.

@herbivore21 method use only one screen, the lower one.

I think this has been established buddy ...I can see you with a taste Butler in your tasty mansion full of clean cooling units. Send me the gunky ones...I absolutely love dabbing reclaim.

Yeah, sometimes I feel kinda bad tossing out the reclaim, but I just don't have the need. Honestly it doesn't really have that much to do with snobbery (I also clean my glass and ass everyday!), the taste goes south pretty fast anyways (probably due to such a tremendous extraction). My CU's are get pretty filthy, including particulate due to a very fine grind alot of the time (milled meds), so perhaps that's why. I imagine a fine screen could produce some pretty tasty oil in the CU.

Yeah @HellsWindStaff , the mighty needs maintenance to perform at its best. I discovered that last month after cleaning oven an cu for the 1st time. Before cleaning, I thought my batteries were fading quickly. My mighty just needed cleaning. I think it loses its conduction properties when the oven is crusted, while using the same amount of power leading to less bowls and less performance.

I have yet to clean my oven, I will have to get on it! I don't have much buildup actually, I scrape it with the poker occasionally, but a good thorough cleaning would be good! It still works very very nicely though, dirty, I reckon better than some other vapes clean!

I always make it seem like cleaning the CU is some big process, but it really is honestly one of the easier vapes to clean. Easier than the Firefly and PAX for sure, which are what I have experience with.

Mine is almost worn away
I took note of the serial number weeks ago
Almost unreadable now
I told Bickel and Storz this and they told me to hold it up to light and the serial number will always be readable. I wish they would switch back to the first generation of stickers that had a protective coating over them. The current ones look really cheap.

Just engrave it into the plastic or something :/ You are Germans you can do it!

Also got me a 7 buck Tom Tom case from Amazon will report back and link if it is any good for Mighty. It says two compartments and holds up to 6 inch devices. Cant argue for 7 bucks!

Just received my mighty. Vaped a bowl of tangie in way to work at 180. Soooo tasty. Very impressed with how unrestrictive the draw is (important as my TM joints are fucked, I have an AA but this will replace it I think on draw resistance alone)

I'm making my way through this thread, but it's huge, if anyone can give me the top tips or anything I should know off the bat that would be much appreciated?

Build quality really is second to none. The holographic sticker on the top blew my mind for some reason. Really like the size too.

Expect to see me here more, this thing seems a beast

Hahaha, the hologram intrigued me when I first got mine too lol
Love my Mighty, it was a night and day difference to my Air
This thing is so easy to use I'm not sure what tips to give lol :D

The only change I made to mine was to fit a fine screen in the cooling unit instead of the coarse one so my cooling unit gets less debris in the reclaim.

If you want to use it with a watertool there are adapters you can buy...
or you can make a muzzmod with a spare cooling unit, a 14-18mm adapter and some jbweld..
or simply fitting some silicone tubing over the existing mouthpiece lets me use it with bubblers.

Happy to answer anything I can lol ask away

Pyro I feel we are intrinsically linked here. Every question I ask! Where you pick up the finer screen?

Will be sure to ask any questions that pop up here.

Cheers again for being a legend.

....................................................................
Yes, Azarius is best headshop in AMS. Wide selection of vapes, glass, and even magic truffles.
Other shops are touristy crap crap crap.
When will you be there?

And if you are a very serious customer (as in you look like you might buy a vape), they will sometimes let you try a vape--with your own bud.
Nice shop, highly recommend it.

P.S. Azarius is only a few shops away from Mike's Bikes, if you need to rent one. IMO, bikes are the only way to fly in AMS. From far north (Central Station) I'd bike to way south (de Pijp) and my buddy would take the tram and I'd beat him soundly---like by over 10 minutes.

Bikes and bud rule in AMS ;)

I'm sorry...but that is the funniest shit I read this morning. Build 'structure' is top notch, build quality is bullsh*t hence all the broken fins and cracked heating units...Mine is being held together by a rubber band as we speak...

...but it hits like a champ!
•Grind fine
•10-15 Second bong like draws will elevate the biggest skeptics
•I love sticky buds but dry works better.
•concentrates work well...not dab like, but flavor is king.
•use the filling aid to fill the bowl (I didn't and it's one of my theories for the broken fins.
•pushing temp + or - resets the 2 minute shut off (a 5 degree drop does it for you)

To add onto your last point, you can also press the power button.
