Biohacker what is your process when you get your unit? What do you clean? How long a burn off? Do you charge it first and for how long?

Iso soak the CU for about 1/2hr then ISO scrub with toothbrush and put in hot soapy water and scrub again with toothbrush. Then I rinse it off with hot water, cold water, and air dry. The actual heater bowl I use an ISO qtip and iso wipe. I crank it up to max temp and from time to time take the CU off and give some quick blows of air to the bowl area and keep sniffing until i'm satisfied (giggity!). I'll then take some draws with an empty bowl and see if there is any off taste. It's good to go fast and by the end of the first bowl it's worked in to my OCD satisfaction.

I think i'm going to need a car adapter for this baby, regret not buying when when I could have saved a few bucks on shipping. I have an inverter until then to tide me over.

I can't believe I have two mighties now, and have put 30 hours on the Crafty, yet not once have I used the included filling tool. Am I missing out?

I was looking at the minivap also but the cs seems awful judging by the horror stories on their thread. So many people waiting months to get their unit back.

Now it's a battle between crafty/mighty sigh. Might get a vapman as a backup.
I'll save you the trouble of debate...get the mighty!
Your into the minivape which isn't mini at all, so the size of the mighty shouldn't matter AND my mighty and crafty were both dead and I started charging them at roughly the same time...
an hour later the mighty is fully charged while the crafty is working on its third bar!
Yes, it's easy to use and convenient.
true. ..except when I'm using it in public in which case the filling tool becomes another item in all too cluttered pockets
At home it's the shit though!

Wow lol sorry I asked! Lol my package is at home waiting for me after work. Can't wait! I bought the Haze, the plenty and now the mighty within a month basically lol I'm hoping I'll stop about now. I got vaporizers to refund me some money on the plenty because of Toronto V's price drop and had to get the Mighty when I saw the price drop on that as well. People should take advantage of that. No way they can keep it that way for long with our shitty dollar at the moment. Vaporizers told me the plenty, at 299 and with shipping taken into consideration would be about 10 bucks profit! Has anyone tried asking vaped.ca to price match? Their site says they might even go lower if you show them a lower price. Their mighty price is the highest as well.

I am relatively new to the forum. I join recently after I upgraded from my Pax 1 to the Pax 2. I sold my Pax 1 and THEN bought my pax 2. What a mistake.... I didn't like the Pax 2 for a variety of reasons. Primarily due to the odor it had and the draw resistance. Just wasn't thrilled with it and though the Pax 1 was MUCh better is those shortcomings of the Pax 2 but also a few more. Nonetheless, I disliked the Pax 2 and sold that which made me a few dollars short of where I started with my Pax 1 and now I had NO portable unit. What a bummer!

I did my research on here and started discussing the pros and cons of the variety of portable units in the market these days. I was on the fence between the Crafty and the Mighty. I use my device daily and enjoy to take it with me when I go on a walk with my dog or to a family Easter party. I like to stay medicated :)

I decided the aI would sacrifice a bit on the portability front to gain the additional battery life of the Mighty. The last thing I would want is to have a dead battery when you ned it most. I thought overall the Mighty would be best for longevity with battery life, charging capacity, etc.

I received my unit yesterday and I must say I am VERY impressed. This thing hits like a Mack truck! The taste is very good and the is virtually no draw resistance. Clean and tasty vapor. A+. My daily was a Volcano Classic up to this point aside form my Pax. After trying a handful of portables and a few desktops this Mighty is probably my favorite. I appreciate all of you help and comments to help me find the perfect unit.

I am off to go on a walk with my dog and enjoy life to the fullest! You go do the same :)

Great post!

How would you compare the smell between your pax vapes to your mighty? Just curious, thanks.

Great review

I agree, great review.

I as well have a Pax 2, and I now believe I have the perfect colleciton. For me, the Pax 2 has it's place as a stealthy on-the-go portable for concerts, public outings, etc... and the Mighty will be more appropriate for private settings like the house or car (I have tinted windows). And for those wondering, this Mighty is actually SMALLER than I imagined; think 1.2 inch thick Android phone.

As others have said, immediately I noticed the natural free flowing draw resistance, yet the vapor production was amazingly dense and smooth. Tasted great throughout the session and never noticed a popcorn taste, like I do with the Pax 2 (100% conduction vape).

My SN is 10xxx and yes, it does remember farenheit when turned off/on if you choose to switch the unit from Celsius. Also, 1 minute auto-shutoff so far has seemed to be restarted from the temperature drop produced by a normal draw, like it's programmed to do.

To go along with the vape, I purchased:

Ryot Packratz smellsafe case
http://www.amazon.com/RYOT-Packratz-Large-Gray/dp/B00POAD92W/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1429914576&sr=8-3&keywords=ryot+packratz

Doob tubes
http://www.amazon.com/Cute-Containers-Poppers-Prescription-Waterproof/dp/B00LBFWW04/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1429914612&sr=8-4&keywords=doob+tubes

Ryot case is awesomely compatible with the Mighty and the doob tubes are great to have in the case with pre-ground herb, ready to pour right into the oven. Boom.

Guys my vape has a heavy plastic smell. I cleaned it a bit with alcohol and had a burn off period of 15-20 mins and it is very heavy. Haven't put anything in it to vape yet. Was this the same for everyone or did people have no plastic smell from the get go?

I was vaping about two minutes after it charged. Never had a problem, never noticed a odd smell or taste.

Did you pull from it without putting anything into it first? I thought about just loading and going but I pulled before loading just to see and it was strong.

Even after the burn off it still has a strong smell.

Sitting on the kitchen table next to my laptop it is not as noticeable as the Pax 2 was. However, I purchased a Ryot Packratz to store the Mighty. If I am going to need to conceal it on account of the smell I am going to conceal a beast like the Mighty. I must admit and point out that the Mighty is definitely not as portable or stealthy as the Pax. I think that is obvious. However, the Mighty is relatively portable. I just think it's cool to be able to have a portable that produces comparable if not better vape quality than many desktops.

I must admit for the portability aspects I like the Mighty so much I am tempted to buy the Crafty. For those of you who are in question, these units are awesome. My favorite experience with a vape so far.

I originally purchased test tubes for storage. No room for my Space Case Stash. I ajust purchased those you shared a link to. They are exactly what I was looking for. I feel like I am all set up now.

Load it up and start using it. That will go away after you pull some vape through the mouthpiece and the cooling chamber.

I think in anything vape related or not that if you suck through a brand new plastic or metal or anything it's gonna taste or smell of said material..place some top shelf nuts up in there and I promise first hit you will taste the sweet nectar of the gods..not sure how long you have been vapeing but this vape I
Has very good flavor especially first couple draws..just take the plunge bro..I promise you won't look back..

Yes, I did a burnoff for a couple minutes and after I let it completely cool down, I inhaled with nothing in the oven and tasted the "factory." Ran a a couple bowls through it and can't taste the "factory." Guess the real test is after you iso the thing and hopefully by then the plastic "factory" taste is gone for good.

So, one of the other reasons I purchased the Mighty, was I felt the Pax 2 couldn't deliver superior vapor/taste when doing a 3-4 person session with the friends. Well my friends, this Mighty FREAKING DELVIERED tonight with my friends. There were 4 of us and the Mighty delivered thick tasty clouds for everyone... and I didn't have to teach anyone the sip vs. rip technique because with this, there is no learning curve for the friends. I just told them "rip it for like 5-10 seconds." Boom. Baked. I got a bunch of high fives for my genius investment.

I tried vaping at 350 degrees and I do like it there... I liked the Pax 1 and Pax 2 on the lowest setting as well. But there is more of a sipping technique required at those lower temps, so if I was with friends, I'd just stick to 355-365 so they don't have to learn how to sip, not rip. Great thing with the Mighty is that at 350 degrees, that fresh flavor taste remains much much longer. One of my friends hit the Mighty tonight at 390 degrees and was amazed that the vapor was dense in his lungs but super smooth. Baked. Boom.

Wow lol sorry I asked! Lol

You shouldn't be...looks like you should try my technique considering your recent smell issues. I was being thorough for a reason, and am sure others could benefit from my feedback.

I neglected to mention that I charge it to full first, but both units were already 95% charged up.

Yeah mine was basically 95% as well. I plugged it in took a shower and it was full. I did a thorough cleaning after I vaped my first bowl which had amazing vapour production but left that odd taste in my mouth especially near the end. I did realize when I got more thorough that the majority of the smell and the taste therefore was from the rubber seal parts. They have a strong smell. Both in the unit and the spare bits. The CU had a smell too but when I took the seals off it diminished greatly. I cleaned it and out it back together and when I draw air it tastes far less than yesterday. A few bowls and cleanings shouuuuld do it.

I'm pumped to use it again. So easy to use. Filling took is awesome for carrying around with some ground up goodness ready to perfectly pack. Amazing vapor production

Hi familia, I was wondering if anyone has swapped the o-ring that sits around the top of the unit ( the one that seals the cu to the body of the mighty).

I have a heavily but carefully used 0005xx serial number mighty and it seems the oven part is moving (jiggling) around just a bit.
I have heard thru Michel here that s&b told him they started including a piece of foam inside so the oven part seats without moving.
I was thinking of swapping the o-ring.

The new o-ring around the bowl decreases slightly the pressure between the CU and the body of the Mighty and prevents the housing from breaking iirc.

The rubber foam fixes the batteries (and the heater) from jiggling in the device. The heater itself still turns around even if it feels a little tighter than in my first unit. It doesn't rattle anymore but I can feel it turns just a very little bit.

Is there a usb chord that would fit into the mighty to charge from a powerbank? Just got a solar powered one for 10 bucks...seems solid, I guess I could just use it for the crafty, but fuck the crafty

I can't imagine there is a professional solution since usb 2.0 is limited to 10watts (2 Ampere x 5 Volts). If you would charge the mighty with a DIY-Adapter or power cord, it would take min ~ 5 hours to charge it completely with such a low power current...

Edit: you could look for a power bank with cig lighter and buy the mighty car charger, but since you already have a power bank...

IDK, but I'm sure you could rig something up. I bought the car charger for my mighty, but have not used it yet. But I have not been gone for a overnight anywhere since I bought it. I should just try it sometime to see how it works.

So by using the oil pad reduces the resin/material from getting into the cooling unit? I didn't think of that but I assume that would drastically reduce cleaning/maintenance. That true? How often do you guys clean your units?

Correct, less material gets into the cooling unit and the reclaim oil is slightly better quality with pad on top instead of screen. I have 3 vapes that are used often and I clean all at once about twice a month or less.
