The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

Am I alone in disliking the filling tool? Tried it out, made more of a mess than using my fingers alone. My preferred method is just to use a tiny little spoon. 3 scoops and a tamp and am good to go and squeaky clean.

Really? I love it. I use the flat side of the little pokey tool housed at the bottom of the Mighty or the end of the brush to push herbs into the bowl when the filler tool is screwed on to the Mighty.

Never makes a mess.

Tried it. Don't like it. Like you said I find it much easier to use my honeybun to scoop material into the chamber or if I'm hiking just pinch some out of my grinder with my fingers.

Mighty performed great once again on the hike I took yesterday. Got started a lil late so only did 13miles :\
Going for 20 next weekend :)
Btw congrats on your second unit ,your spoiled now ;)

My wife is spoiled! Lol. Totally agree with your assessment and do the same as you. Fingers for hikes! That's quite impressive the mileage you're logging! Hey JJ, how do you not overfill or under full? I find it's hard to eyeball when using the tool.

It was trial and error for a while, but now I know roughly how much to push into the bowl for a packed half-load. I tend to under fill it so I can kill the bowl in one session. My fingers are too fat to push the herbs in without making a mess, so I always use either the brush or the orange pokey scoop tool (the technical name for it) to shovel the herbs into the bowl. Two or three little 'shovels' and it's good.

doesnt the weed emit sedative effects when its vaped on a high temperature? whats the point of getting high if its not sedating you?
I enjoy high temps too and I'm far from lazy. Only smoking makes me lazy and want to lie on the couch all day. Every body is different though.

MGG how common is this dreaded error code?

JJ I figured I need more experience to appreciate the filling tool. Never thought of using the Orange tool as a shovel so that may help as I was just using my finger. I think the biggest mess is from transferring from my grinder to the tool. I'll have to try again.

I love the filling tool too. I'm kinda allergic to weed in that if I get any on my fingers, and then I start touching my face, I'll get proper hay fever symptoms. Once I fill the tool I can repack the mighty without getting anything on my fingers. I use it for other vapes as well, I think it's ingenious

AFAIK only mrmrmrmr and myself don't like it. But I'm going to try to like it. I was overfilling it too much and just in general didn't impress me over using a small spoon and my finger or the Orange tamp tool.

Mister You can buy the tool for $5. Although the Mighty won't hurt lol

The filling thing is great. You're right, it's tough to see how much you have in there but you learn. I use it so I can make sure its clean when I fill up. I dont just slide the herb in because it doesn't distribute even so I sprinkle it in and use the tool on the bottom to pack. I put the liquid pad on top as well.

I dont like the filling tool .. its not airtight and i dont like storing my herb in plastic cases. I use a chico jyarz and a small measuring spoon. Airtight glass stored fresh herbs with accurate dosing. Much better all round.

The orange tool works well, imo.

I can hold the Mighty with one hand, and with the other hand I screw on the filling tool, unscrew lid and remove the clear central plug and fill the Mighty by pushing the herb through the little opening with the orange tool, replace the plug, screw on the lid, unscrew the filling tool from the Mighty, drop the wax pad into bowl and reattach the CU.

It becomes a little ritual, and I follow the same steps every time. Sort of like when I roll a joint, I always follow the same procedure I've followed for years. It takes me much less time to fill the Mighty using the filling tool than it takes my missus to roll a joint. I'm blowing out huge clouds and she's still zigzaging her roach.

The filling tool carries at least 6 bowls for me, probably more.

All that said, I would encourage anyone to do or use whatever works best for them.

This isn't 100% serious, or?
Do I really want to fall asleep at 10pm everyday because I toke? Do I want to get heavy legs when I vaped before a concert or going on a nature trail?
Hell no. By doing this you actually seperate the high from the stoned, you can enjoy music without having the utter need for a sofa.
For example I remember being on a concert with having smoked two bowls before, my legs became so ultra heavy 30 minutes after the band started that I had to find the nearest chair (which they luckily had, really wide sofa-chairs), I couldn't see the stage anymore but it was so sedating that I took a chair + listening to music over seeing the band

Exaxctly. Just like now I took one puff of a 210°C Mighty to sensitivize myself for lower amounts of cannabinoids, I am so fucking sedated, still waiting for the caffeine pill to kick in.

Exactly,

I am posting this for the 3rd time but it's worth it:

You can actually see which flavonoids, terpenoids and terpenes are in different strains and how they react on different temperatures.

Right now I only want the anti-emetic and cerebral effects of Delta 9 THC but definitive not the Anti-Insomnia effects of CBD, Delta 8 THC and CBN which start at 160°C/170°C/185°C

That's what you call a daytime med, sure if it's after 12pm already there is nothing wrong with hitting the herb at 190°C and going to bed 30minutes later; but I don't want to sleep at 12am because I toke one at 10am.

(lol I hit the back button but my text didn't get deleted, good one)

Nice post and strain info, I live in one of the legal few where they test the thc and cbd levels and find this data on the package pretty useless when it comes to my high. The old eye test seems best for me. I have 20 strains currently and can say without a doubt that each vapes very differently.

Agreed, as a container its not any good.

I don't store anything in it, just basically use is as a funnell to load 1 chamber at a time.

Different strokes I guess. I use mine as a convenient container all the time. I can hold several loads in it. And to fill I just push a little down the hole after I pull the plug. I can gauge it now without looking, after using it so much, but you can look down the hole to see how much you have in it.

So I filled up the tool a couple of days ago and stuck it in my pocket to go out with the mighty. I only used the prefilled mighty and when I got home completely forgot about the tool in my pocket. Yesterday at work I noticed a strong skunk odour around my locker!!! Scared the crap outta me! Definitely not smell proof/air tight. Can't wait to finish work and get back to my tool and mighty.

Hey Mrmrmrmr how long is it taking you to do 13miles? By yourself or with company? I only ask because I love a hike...

I'm loving the filling chamber! Didn't like it at first but it grew on me

Bio hacker, what's your stain of choice prior to a hike or during a hike? I hike every week so his intrigues me.

Also good news, a buddy of mine has a unit he got in January and used it twice, he's willing to let it go for 280, debating on going brand new for 326 on torontovape or getting this one. Hmmmmmm
