The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

that statement is not true. The minivap is a true convection portable and kicks the mighty's ass in taste. I'm not sure if that's what you mean by vapor "quality" but I assure you the minivap vapor is of higher quality then the mighty
................................................................................
Agree 100% BUT quality is subjective, means different things to different people.
And many of my vaping friends swore their XYZ vape had highest quality vapor UNTIL they tried the miniVAP.

I do like the Mighty a lot and frequently think about getting one, newest vape syndrome. I have used a buddy's Mighty a lot and it is slick, high tech, etc but then I realize I don't really NEED a Mighty...
Might end up with a Mighty sometime

@radiant34 : you liked my post #2479 on page 100 where I tested how my batterie behaves.
Your device should be good!

Edit: Am I alone with the resin build up under the air intake?

I'm getting black or dark dust under the bottom screen, and sticky side walls. I started using a dry q-tip to swab out a hot/warm bowl, and it seems to work fairly well. I cleaned my screen several times but I think I'm about ready to swap out a screen.

no, not at all...i think that contributes to loss of performance for heavy users as well...I'm thinking dental Floss might do the trick if I can figure out how the intake is assembled, mine personally had dust and debris from being in my pocket and I blasted it with compressed air

I swap the bottom screen once every week or two. Boosts performance back.
you throw them away?
I'm getting closer and closer to breaking down and getting a one
you have the patience of a fucking monk:myday: I read about the mighty for a day and saw two videos and luckily my ascent screen went out and I had an excuse to grab that shit INSTANTLY! I respect that...lbvs:bowdown:

Where the Mighty is it made, please?

I know the manufacturer is German but maybe the factories are in differents countries.

I ask that cause I already received offer for a mighty copy.....(don't expect any links!)

I would be very impressed if there were already fake Mighty's. I heard something along these lines in the Arizer Air thread as well and it was just a rumour. One thing that I think kicks ass is the fact that they are Made in Germany!

They need to make a commercial like this for the Mighty (and Crafty) but replace the VW with S&B and the cars for vapes! YA! YA! YA!

Thanks for your answer, I'm experiencing the same, perhaps I should explain myself better or provide some photos. With air intake I mean where the air travels into heater, the very first gap just above the display. My side-walls are so gunked, it's nearly impossible to clean the bowl like new anymore. With the very fine scratches from taking the sieve out and putting them back in the resin has something to stick on. Tried a ISO-soaked cotton ball for minutes in the bowl already, doesn't work. Never had this problem with the volcano, but there I was never tamping down bowls, so I think @radiant34 is right about build up in the bowl from compressing the load.

I'm more concerned about the heater itself... I hope it's not gunky like the bowl is, but since there is even resin on the intake I can't imagine how vapor is making his way through the device without causing some build-up. I hope it doesn't affect performance too much over time. If so I will sadly have to get some free gifts while warranting my device. :D

If anybody is interested in a MV, read the thread over there before buying one (I think you would anyway, even without my advice :) )

I can agree that in terms of taste the MV is way better than the Mighty, we could name it vapor quality. But it's dry to the throat if you don't have WT or glass or anything like this. I mean really dry, not to say harsh. With the provided accessoires it's not usable, you have to buy something on top if you don't have a box of accessoires. Whips are only cooling, the vapor is still harsh. I think this is caused due to particles and plant materials you inhale a lot if you use the MV like it's sold. The Mighty CU does a much better job catching these particles in the very turbulent vapor path it has. The vapor of the MV is so hot with the plastic mouth piece and just the flexicone plus that the taste has a bitter side-taste. I have to agree @murf2010. The Minivap is an around-the-house-vape exclusevly. It's too beautiful to just throw it in your back-pack or even the car, you should always carry it in the provided bag (and a seperate bag for glass and WT).
If I'll ever find out how to enjoy the MV dry and not needing a bunch of accessories I'll come up with a solution for the portability problem a friend of mine is currently working on.

Anyways, the mighty hits much harder imo, and this is luckily not the MV thread. I should add, I use my mighty with maximum conduction effects with obviously gunks the bowl faster. Perhaps I shouldn't and only load half the amount more fluffy to prevent the bowl from resin... Like I did with the MV. But since I now the Mighty eats even tamped ungrinded nugs I did this perhaps too often.

I'm still looking for a desktop which can beat the mighty in terms of vapor quality and conduction effects without using water. E-nano? Glass core minivap? Plenty? Even thinking of concentrates and the omicron for faster recreation...

Edit: @PPN , it's not the mighty, but it gives you an impression of the production process: http://www.storz-bickel.com/shop_eu/en/company/

I ordered mine from Toronto Vaporizer on Tuesday. Man are they slow. It still hasn't been shipped out and they assured me it would by by 4:30 today.

Ordered my second Mighty yesterday around noon, and it's out for Delivery today! POW! Huge shout out for TorontoVaporizer! Can't even imagine life without Mighty. It has literally changed my life!

Can't wait for Twin Mighties!

EDIT: IT HAS ARRIVED!! Time for OCD opening ceremonies, cleaning, and burnoffs! lol

Mighty > Plenty imo

Vapour quality for me doesn't necessarily mean taste but thick smoke like clouds that hit hard. I was a heavy ex-smoker and I like the mighty as it replicates that very well. How does the minivap stack up against the mighty in this respect?

I purchased it locally for $405 (before tax) if I would have ordered online, I would have purchased a crafty, because that's the one I was lusting after first, but since they didn't have the crafty locally I just got the mighty, because the anticipation of fedex/ups would have killed me...glad I did, fuck the crafty

I was looking at the minivap also but the cs seems awful judging by the horror stories on their thread. So many people waiting months to get their unit back.

Now it's a battle between crafty/mighty sigh. Might get a vapman as a backup.

New mighty works flawlessly, also serial # 12xxx, tripping out a bit because the last 2 digits in the serial # are 34 (wife's age) and the older Mighty ends in 39 (my age)! Guess the new one is hers! lol

Looking forward to a glass Y adapter for getting two Mighties stoned at once!

Exactly my words! And since the mighty can provide this without making me even cough (most of the times) I felt in love with this vape... I would rate the MV near to the Mighty if circumstances and conditions are perfect and you are modding it. If you have the chance to get one of the calibrated/hotter/better/newer MV's, apparently it could outperform the mighty. A little like playing lottery....

The Volcano above 200'C and a very full bowl can outperform the MV imo in terms of cloud production

Geez! They really dropped the ball for me lol it's out for delivery now. I got some haze parts and I have enough grinders so they gave me a Zeus cleaning kit instead. I wonder how well it'll work!

Biohacker what is your process when you get your unit? What do you clean? How long a burn off? Do you charge it first and for how long?

I looked at a minivap before I bought a mighty, and came to the same conclusion. The thread tells the story pretty well.
