Do you add material after the mighty has completed heating up or do you put it in, close the top and then heat it up?
I always pack and then heat, which gives a lil more vapor on the first pull (still light). This makes me believe that there is not a lot of benefit heating and then adding herbsDo you add material after the mighty has completed heating up or do you put it in, close the top and then heat it up?

I have a ghost mv1 stealthMighty & Ghost?
Well. I'm still in a "honey moon" with Ghost...Seems to be so easy, so effective, a little learning curve b ut not that bad.
I've tried many vapes and always preferred Mighty. Now I feel I've found something as good, not neccessarily better, different.
Mighty is cool with friends...Lots of vapor...Super-fast to load.
Ghost is more for single use. Seems to extract every bit of my herb...I seem to use MUCH less herb than with Mighty where I usually vape the whole 0,3g base by myself. I seem to get "as much effect" with a Ghost session than I get from a complete Mighty session by myself...I somehow prefer the taste in Mighty but also there it's more liek a personal preference than one being bad and the other better.
I'm sure I'll use them both in the future.
Hope this helps.
I'll keep my Mighty, thank you. But good luck with the new purchase.I have a ghost mv1 stealth
After using it for 3 days my mighty went straight on eBay!
The ghost is more potent and flavourfull I love it!!

It's the potency of the ghost that sold me mate...but with the mighty I found you got one tasty hit and after that it was that burnt popcorn taste..also the mighty made me cough the mv1 doesn't!Shows you how all these wonderful opinions are different. I have a few of the black box devices, Mighty, Tera, Fierce. A good friend I play poker with weekly has a stealth. He has brought it to poker twice. Before he brought it and I had a chance to use it I was going to buy it because I buy all the latest and greatest vapes. My VAS runs deep and strong.
After my first sesh with it I handed the Mighty to my friend and said, "how are these two even being mentioned in the same sentence?"
I got one good hit off the ghost stealth and the rest sucked.
I came into FC and kept seeing people with positive feedback. I figured I had to be wrong. Probably I was too high already. Maybe his strain he was putting in the stealth was inferior to the strain I was putting in the Mighty.
I had him bring it again so I could try it with the same strain in both. I had the same result, one nice hit and the rest duds.
The owner had some opinions on it a well. Since he is an FCer too I'm not going to speak for him he can describe his thoughts himself.
Your comment stirs my curiosity. I am stunned anyone can try both and have that conclusion. This means, to me, there is a good chance I may be mistaken and need to give it another whirl. I am going to have him bring it again for poker tomorrow night. There must be something we are doing wrong with this one. Is it super fidgety to get more than one good hit per crucible? The mighty doesn't behave that way. It is not fidgety at all. Doesn't seem to care what type of grind. I consistently get 3-6 nice hits per capsule with a few more not as great but still ok hits.
Of the 4 black boxes I've tried or own I do have a definite opinion on the order of hierarchy. I'll try the stealth again tomorrow night and watch some videos ahead of time in case there is something I missed.
I have yet to see even one picture of MV1 ABV that is uniform in color or looks anywhere close to being fully extracted! It just seems like WAY too much effort to get consistent results. Personally, I just want a vaporizer that works well every time...the Mighty does just that for me (and many others). But I don't own an MV1 and am only going from feedback I read. The mighty is a very good conduction vape...but I prefer a convection unit and the mv1 rules!
I sometimes get a few flecks of green in my abv but it doesn't bother me as 90% is always vaped..if its medicinal effects your after the ghost definitely does the job better than the mighty because of the strength it's making my bud last longer too.I have yet to see even one picture of MV1 ABV that is uniform in color or looks anywhere close to being fully extracted! I have to agree that the flavor diminishes quickly with the Mighty. I, however, am not a flavor connoisseur and am only interested in the medicinal effects. My other issue would be that the Mighty only goes up to 210C. The option to go a bit hotter would have been nice. But my ABV is always dark, uniform and never requires stirring. I like that.
I respect your opinion, @Shorner, and just wished to share mine.
Well, I'll just have to take your word for it. Nothing beats my Mighty in my opinion!I sometimes get a few flecks of green in my abv but it doesn't bother me as 90% is always vaped..if its medicinal effects your after the ghost definitely does the job better than the mighty because of the strength it's making my bud last longer too.
Cheers mate...have you tried the mv1?Well, I'll just have to take your word for it. Nothing beats my Mighty in my opinion!
Happy you are enjoying it.
No, I was too put off with all the problems people seemed to be having (non-consistent results, parts that don't fit properly or break, parts getting dirty very quickly, batteries that drained way too quickly, etc.). I'm also not big on having to use a smartphone app to make temperature adjustments; prefer to do everything on my actual vaporizer. I think it has definite potential but doesn't have all the kinks worked out yet. Again, this is only my opinion. And it seems like yours is working to your liking which is great.Cheers mate...have you tried the mv1?
No worries mate...the mighty does come with its fair share of problems too though. No, I was too put off with all the problems people seemed to be having (non-consistent results, parts that don't fit properly or break, parts getting dirty very quickly, batteries that drained way too quickly, etc.). I think we had better get back on topic considering this is the Mighty thread! But again, I wish you continued happiness with your purchase.
Fair enough. I must have been really lucky because mine works like a charm every time. And it sounds like your MV1 does the same for you. Cool.No worries mate...the mighty does come with its fair share of problems too though.

It will be interesting to see how S&B products evolve now that they are owned by Canopy. I have a feeling there will be some pretty big advances coming our way in the near future!
So would I, @shredder. From what I have seen so far, this one still holds top spot on many reviews. My first mighty has worked like a charm for over four years, still have it and use it. My second mighty was just hatched on black friday, but seems even better. If I thought there was a better portable vape, I'd buy it.
