Lol I think you meant get a SOLO! It can sip for days....as a former lotus owner I would expect you to know it is the epitome of fast extraction, 2-3 huge hits and done.....I can do the same with vapman and firefly(when it was working;)).

But back to mighty, got to try one the other day.....yes, like crafty, it is one of the hardest hitting portables.
But comparisons to E-Nano's should probably be refrained from, although I'm still waiting on a nano, AC Heat retention+pure convection>conv/cond-hybrid battery heat( no matter how even) all day.

I should better explain myself maybe… Solo can be a sipper, yes, but when you use it like it is designed to the taste gets gross fast! The last few months I had one, I only used it in full convection mode at 7 with a Vapor Lung and by removing the stem between hits. I used it more like a log with a bubbler and not a sipper. The Solo could extract fast as hell like that by the way. It took three draws from the Vapor lung and the load was dark dark brown. You certainly can't do that just with your lungs.

You can with the Mighty/Crafty though…

Lotus can be a one hitter or a sipper, it's just perfect. Vapman and FF as well. Crafty and Solo though can't be sippers and taste good imho…

I don't know about comparing with logs, especially Nanos… Maybe Nanos are so much better than my old Hot Pod but I doubt it until I try one… :)

The taste is night and day with a nano vs mighty with the nano winning every time. With zero heat up time, if u leave it on 24/7 like myself n many others. Also there is no need to 'heat the load'. The hot air your inhaling passes through the load and boooooom instant flavorful vapor!

Also the mighty doesn't have a faster extraction cuz I rip through nano loads in 2-3 draws, especially with a WP.

But once again you comparing apples to oranges. I agree that we should refrain from comparing the two. I just wanted to clear the air.

My fault...I see I was confusing sipping and session, I understand now by sipping you mean, inhale and put down for over a minute, which would taste nasty in solo/crafty.

Using SOLO as designed (session, i.e One 7sec hit every 20 seconds) tastes good till its finished, same with crafty/mighty(designed as session vapes)..........obviously instant-heat up, heat-during-use vapes (Lotus, VM, FF) are best for "sipping", but are not necessarily "session vapes", and can be used for fast extraction.....

Anyway...........how are most of you guys using your mightys? Fast extracting Lung busters? or more session style? any sippers lol?

Has cleaning the bottom (inside) screen been discussed, does it need to be changed out in time?

Thanks everyone for the help! Finally got it.

I have to say i'm kind of surprised you have to use so much force with the mouthpiece. I know it's s&b but im worried about the durability of it, it's just a piece of plastic.
I've found that it is much easier to separate if you do the following: Slide back the lock, push down on the small button at the end of the lock - this pushes the bottom of the cooling unit off the top without all of the pulling. Much easier and feels safer to me. I'm surprised Storz and Bickel don't show it in their instructions.

Thanks! Much easier and that's what that notch was for!

Quick question.

This is a convection/conduction vape right, does the conduction occur from the bud touching the side of the bowl? If so, can u line the bowl with some metal or material that is heat resistant to prevent it from reaching temps higher than 300f? That should prevent conduction from occurring. The bowl is already its lifted off the bottom from that screen so only the hot air would be vaporizing the herb i.e pure convection!!! Or am I just fishing?

Btw I'm bored as fuck in a hotel room away for work sorry lol

Droppin' some wisdom. I will definitely try this next time!

Just shipped! It should be here Monday... I hope I'm impressed!

I had one single session, and i wasn't impressed with mine, but that one was faulty and I send it back. (although it hit the desired temp according to the display)

waiting for a replacement.... I really hope I will be....impressed. (to justify the price...lol)

Yeah I'm really crossing my fingers, and hoping I don't get a faulty model.. I don't know what the odds are but it seems like a fair share of posters in this thread have reported faulty models.. It makes me a little nervous but Storz & Bickel is a great company, so I am confident in them and their products.

Don't worry so much!

The chances of getting a faulty unit are SLIM. Imo, there have NOT been a fair amount of posters with faulty units. There have been a couple, sure, but that's going to happen with any product. And in the off-chance you do get a bad unit, S&B will take care of you.

Just sit back, get some bud ground up, and get ready to blast off :)

Thanks for the welcome. I've been lurking around a long time reading up on various vaporizers. I smoked mj on and off for over 40 years. I'm a long time owner of the Volcano (the original before it had a replaceable air filter) but I continued to smoke joints until a little over a year ago because while I liked the Volcano bags for groups, they were wasteful for individual use and it was a pain to hide the Volcano all the time.

I found FC a little over a year ago and began reading about portable vaporizers. Since then I've given up smoking and have tried various vapes: NO2, Pinnacle Pro, Solo and now Crafty. I like the crafty best of all but also enjoy the PnP with water tool. I care for my disabled wife and she does best with the PnP with no water tool because she can't manage a water tool and can only take small inhales and while she can use the crafty I have to be with her to keep it from turning off - she can't draw enough to keep it on and has trouble remembering to push the power button.

After 5 hours of use, I've found that for me the best temperature is 185C which gives me 6 to 8 good hits before bumping it up to 200C which adds 2 more hits. I've gone through about 30 bowls and just cleaned it for the first time. I had a small amount of buildup in the cooling chamber, not enough to restrict the draw at all. I tried cleaning the cooling unit in an ultrasonic cleaner for 6 minutes with water and a drop of dish washing detergent and while this loosened everything up I still needed to use a qtip to get it clean. Will try iso next time. That's what I use with all of my other vapes.

I had a general question about the mighty and all vaporizers, do you clean before first use in case of manufacturing debris (possibly). My OCD side is asking

Not required but I do and I have no OCD side.
I use ISO alcohol and swab just to be sure.
Then heat it without herb to make sure all alcohol is gone.

I think some manufacturers are more diligent than others but I like to make sure

Ok, so I am looking at the Mighty as a potential solution to my portable flower vaping needs.

Tell me guys, honestly, can the Mighty fit in large side pockets on a pair of jeans. If a 5/6 inch phone can fit in my pocket, is this really not pocketable - or just less pocketable than the crafty?

I need a vape that can keep up with my tolerance for flowers (which can easily be sky high thanks to my Sub on home vaping duty). I do not need something that looks super stealthy, but I need to be able to fit this in a large pants pocket.

I would get the crafty but the battery life sounds absolutely out of the question for my high-tolerance/high heat needs. Further to that I don't use Android or iPhone and have 0 interest in doing so - and I do want temp control lol.

Logic says get the mighty for every single reason except that it might just not be pocketable.

So people, can this actually fit in your large pants pocket? Perhaps somebody take a photo with their mighty in their pocket if it is not too much trouble? :D
