I know this has been asked. How does it work with concentrates? I can't find any answers. I purchased the mighty but am looking at Persei for concentrates. If mighty can do the job, I don't want to buy the Persei. I read someone say they don't want to risk it

That just happened...
I've used my mod a few more times with my neighbor who is also a cloud owner. We both agree that it performs better then a cloud. It's incredible. I can't believe the performance coming from a portable. I'm really excited to show you a video.

Cordless and hands free. The house is almost decorated. I love this time of year. :)

got mine today, but didn't use it yet.

first impression.... hmm... it feels a bit "cheap" when I hold it in my hand....
.... but who cares as far as vapor quality is as expected.
I'm confident it will be, will post "results" tomorrow.

btw.

I read that the battery should be occasionally completely empty,
so the battery indicator shows the correct level. but I don't remember if that is for the crafty or the mighty????

how long does yours charge from empty to full ?

I have mine plugged in for 3 hours and the last indicator is still blinking (for the last hour)

also my unit was almost empty. I did one dry heating cycle, and the batteries depleted. (blinking frame)

From completely dead mine took just over 2hrs to fully charge. In the instruction book gives you some tips also like before and after you unplug the unit , unplug from wall first. Also mentions the charge time from empty.

damn, I need to replace it... it does not charge. or hold the charge, or whatever.......
after 3 hours charging it showed almost full, but trying to heat it up and it lost all the charge at once. ( empty frame blinking )

maybe a battery ... I don't know. the charger shows 12.36V with a dc meter . :(

I'm sure this has been gone over multiple times but I feel like expressing myself so sorry in advance.

The one min auto shut-off has to go IMO. Well if not gone, improved. Make the draw drop more sensitive, motion detector or even just a longer time limit.

Other than that no it's a Mighty fucking beast!!! As u all know and once I mod a cooling unit like that genius @elmomuzz it will be the perfect vape. Thanks for everything everyone!!

Just ordered mine. A little nervous after reading a post a few spots above claiming his battery has already went to shit.

Comparisons with the Firefly as requested by Hodor.
First off they are so different it's really apples and oranges:

1) Firefly is pure convection, while the Crafty is a combination of conduction and convection. In practical terms that means that whatever you put in the bowl of a Crafty, for best flavor and result should be finished off. With the Firefly you can easier just take a hit once in awhile and the herb stays tastier as there is no slow conductive residual "baking" going on.

2) With the Crafty there is little to no learning curve, making it easy to pass around at a party or concert. Also absolutely no stirring required and the ABV is always very evenly done.

3) When needed, the Crafty can be much more stealthy and get the job done fast.
You can take a couple of huge draws easily and effortlessly.
While the Firefly has much less resistance then for instance the Pax, the Crafty has basically zero draw resistance which is rather nice actually.

4) The Firefly is to me more like a personal instrument that needs to be handled skillfully and patiently: sometimes the hits are perhaps too whispy,
then when you want clouds and you hold the button too long black charred specks in the ABV. The beauty of the Crafty is the EXACT temperature controls.

5) Batteries: I can't tell you how happy I am to see both on the app as well as with blinking indicator lights how much juice there is in the battery. So much disappointment when firing up the Firefly and the battery gives out. And yes I have an extra battery and all of that. Also the batteries of the Firefly start draining immediately when not in use so that even that extra battery may not be as charged up as you thought and there is no way of knowing.

6) Still on the battery aspect as both my Firefly batteries stopped working completely in less then two months (they were replaced free of charge)
I think a major design flaw of the Firefly is having a potent heater right next and almost in touch with the battery. The battery on the Crafty is completely separate from the heater, giving it a better chance of lasting longer.
Besides the fact that it is a pain in the butt to keep replacing batteries it's also quite wasteful environmentally to throw that many out.

7) Aesthetically speaking the Firefly is way prettier with the glass bowl and stainless steel vapour path.
That said, the cooling unit in the Crafty works way better and even huge draws never feel hot.
Also with the Firefly you sometimes inhale little pieces of material, which does concern me. This never happens with the more intricate design of the cooling chamber on the Crafty.

I could make another seven points but I'm getting tired LOL
Hope this helps...

It is late indeed and not only did I posted this in the Mighty thread instead of the Crafty, I also posted it it twice and -alas- cannot get it erased... APOLOGIES!!
