The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

I go where the thrills are
..............................................................
Absent any pre-knowledge of the Mighty, I'd look at it and expect it would firmly stand up. And after finding out it doesn't stand up as expected I'd say to myself, "What the flock were those engineers thinking?? Why in hell would you not enable an easy standing architecture?"

It's not a dealbreaker but I still say WTF were they thinking? Crazy to not build that in as a given/ no-brainer.

I have a different view of this. Maybe it's due to my natural "guy who knocks shit over" tendencies....but if the Mighty stood on its own, I wouldn't stand it up vertically anyway. Given the plastic housing and high center of gravity, it's an accident waiting to happen, at least at my house (hell, I can lay it flat and still have a 50% chance of sending it flying off the coffee table). So I like that S&B removed all risk by not even giving me the option of certain heartbreak.

If it had a weighted base, such that the center of gravity was lowered enough, it would be a different story....but then it'd be a heavier, even-less portable portable.

Just one clumsy guy's :2c:.

That's just the thing, they did not remove all risk, and IMO actually created more risk by designing it with the ability to be stood upright (via stir tool, oriented either way, although default IMO is more stable). Sure it's not as stable as the Crafty, but it can stand on its own.

Can anyone here with a Muzzmod please compare using a small water tool to just the stock CU dry (no water tool). Last night I was testing out hits at varying temperatures dry with the CU, and still cannot get over how effectively it cools so well!

So with the muzzmod, taking the CU out of the equation, i'm wondering if the water conditioned hits could in fact be harsher than dry CU hits?

I was wondering the same thing. For example this adapter:

... Replaces the Mighty CU and seemingly loses it's novel cooling technique. I would imagine dry hits from this adaptor to be unpleasant.

Well there could very easily be a little pull out kick stand, Or you can plug it in and have the chargers plastic L shape on the opposite end of the tamper, Thus your mighty can rely on the chargers L and tamper to have sort of stand, Although S&B designed it to be one handed with the loading tool no?

Also where can i get the Delta3dlabs stand outside of the US? $11 dollars + shipping is a bit mad i would want it shipped to Europe for $11.

I agree that Mighty can easily be used one-handed once filled.

I would have difficulty filling the Mighty one-handed (though, to be sure, it would get done if necessary!).
The Mighty has to be more or less upright and then the four pieces of the filling aid, then maneuvering the meds into place...it's a lot to keep track of, depending on your 'state of mind' and dexterity.

I'm pretty sure the Delta3dlabs stuff is sold in US only (will ship, but yes, that can get pricey). @Ratchett runs a 'boutique' type small business, but it's getting bigger, having recently moved the shop. We wish him best of luck in the new digs.

I'm a little confused by this, and am at work so I can't check the Mighty out in front of me, but how do you have it stay upright in default position? My Mighty can only stand upright to my knowledge if I take the stir stick out of the bottom and put it in reversed (If default is "_|" mine only stands up with the stir stick like "|_")

Mine will stand with the tool inserted either way, and is about as unstable either way. But is is nice to look at when it is standing tentatively all by itself, like my little grand son.
The tool is one of three points of contact. Two little bumps in the plastic housing are the others.

It stands on the bottom of the stir pin on a very slight angle. I do this all the time.

Every single video i've posted on this forum has come from my iphone5 standing up on its own. However since the new design doesn't stand up, and has become much larger, that's the only conclusion I can come up with, the Mighty was just too big to leave to that fate. I would have just figured that it would be "healthier" for the Mighty to be upright, instead of laid down since heat rises.

I've got the new model of the mighty and boy is it so much better than the original,
I swear i'm getting more consistent fat hits from this :D.

Holy shit though, full tight bowl of clusterbomb flower with clusterbomb rosin on top can send you to the next dimension. Getting vapexhale cloud size hits easily. Why anyone would buy the volcano over this device i do not understand (unless your lungs don't have the strength to inhale properly)

I think that the Plenty would be a better comparable to the Mighty...It's like the Mighty on steroids, but having already owned one, i'd much rather have TWO Mighty's!

I have an OG as well as a brand new Mighty. Differences forsure, as been mentioned, however in terms of vape production, hits, etc. I do not see an obvious difference. Just my experience.

Much prefer the newer to the older overall though.

Agree about the EVO sized hits, probably even bigger!

I find mine holds a much more stable temperature. Instead of crawling up to the right temp, it pushes past it (usually by about 5 degrees Celsius), meaning that it heats up quicker and is just generally better at holding that temperature.

Definitely agree about the temperature....but I tested both for heatup speed and they were identical. Both are new with strong batteries.

What S/N 35xxx? That bowl cries out for being pushed down with a screen and into the microbubblers. All glass for that lovely Rosin, I have never tried anything past kief so i wonder how much that bit adds to the vapor you decribe, From what i see they contain a massive amount of cloud making THC lol.

Thats the kind of thing i wanted and waited on, These kinds of bowls on the road with an F-Bomb but how much do i need to make that sized dab bro? Maybe even roll it in kief?

Oh for the record I did push it down with a screen but i just snapped this picture so you could see the bowl before I pushed it down, yeah i'm hitting it with the vapefiend waterpipe adapter, so having a screen to push it down was a must.

Rosin adds a lot for me.

Here's a shitty gif (it's hard to do this with 1 hand)

Sad to say I use my Mighty less now since I got the EVO. I used to charge the Mighty once a day and now it's once every two days... I still use it all the time when I'm out, however when I'm home... the EVO has taken it's place. The rips I get from the EVO through a bubbler is unmatched... it's just way too smooth and feels like a small dab hit. When I smoke the Mighty through a bubbler, it still hits your hard, however the vapour is much more harsh. One thing the Mighty has over the EVO is that it produces the vapour quicker through a bubbler probably due to being partially conduction. I would have to draw/pull on the EVO much longer than the Mighty and this is what I disliked about the EVO in the beginning, however I learnt to get used to it. All in all, I still love my beloved Mighty and it will always be number one in my heart, however the EVO has taken over as my daily home driver. Out and about... the Mighty all day everyday (sorry PAX 2).

Yeah well what water adapter are you using because i find the old rachett adapters make a huge difference because it passes through the cooling chamber. where as vapefiend and muzzmod avoid that, making for a harsher hit. I'm actually amazed how cool this little piece of plastic makes the vapor.

@biohacker hey dude, I have had the Mighty since June and really love it. Nothing beats it, really. But I have to send it out now, and got a label, so I ordered a Crafty and received it just yesterday. I noticed after reading through these forums, you also have a Mighty and a Crafty. The crafty almost seems like a disappointment at first but I do understand the differences and I'm slowly beginning to appreciate them. However, I have the option to send it back and get it exchanged for something else, and the Mighty seems the only good option but wouldn't it be better to have a Mighty and Crafty than just a Mighty? Lol. Just something I'm going through and thought I'd ask for advice.

Would you send the crafty back and pay the difference for a Mighty or would you keep the Crafty? Have you grown to like it more as you've had more time with it? Any input is highly appreciated!

Hey bro! Welcome to FC! I kinda feel honoured that your first post is publicly directed at me!

The answer to your question I think is pretty simple. I just sold my new Crafty after 2 hours! Since you asked for my input, there is no question I would just get another Mighty (nice to have for backup since it's so dope!). So many reasons why, but mostly performance (heatup speed, ability to maintain temp), BATTERY LIFE, charge time, and durability.

Otherwise, throw down a pre-order for a Grasshopper! That's my Crafty replacement.

Hope that helps! :)

Hahaha, thanks man. I am at 4 hours of use now and don't think it is able to satisfy a regular Mighty user when the Mighty has to go back. Two Mightys though... lol that's just funny to me. It really is that good, right? I thought to myself about this a lot. Like... not a Plenty instead of a Mighty since I already have a Mighty? It just seems stupid to get anything besides a Mighty since I have a Cloud EVO now too. Two Mightys and a Cloud EVO or a Mighty, a Plenty, and a EVO? Hmm....

i was going to upgrade to mighty for a small fee but you getting rid of crafty has thrown me off

was it just because you still have the mighty or?
