The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

In the end i decided to pre order a titanium GH, Im not really in a hurry and i have plenty of vaping tools available to me and after researching the tech they have into the GH is crazy and i feel it will round out my collection as i have the FF and vapor brothers for at home and will use GH as the portable and for water pipes etc
I chose the same, a TI Hopper. Pre-ordered in early Aug '15 and got a projected ship date of Sept. '15. That has changed twice, I think, and is now Feb. '16. That will not happen. There are over a year's worth of pre-orders to be built yet, that's after the last of the couple of hundred backers have been 'thanked' with one at a time 'hand made'(?) Hoppers. Time for you to shift over to the Grasshopper Thread, and the related Shipping Thread. (since you've definitely rejected the advice to forget you heard about the Hopper for, say, six months...) EDIT; I see your already there!
Mighty (and an occasionlly used Pax2) is filling the void more than adequately while I wait.

yeah after reading about the possible quality issues with crafty and some mighty (GH does too w/cop light prob), the battery being non-replaceable, and then the warranty difference between the two. Plus me not being in a hurry I decided to save the cash and pre-ordered. I have no doubt the mighty & crafty are good vapes just not needed in my collection right now. TY for the opinions offered in helping my choice though

I meant that I want my bubbler to be attached straight to upwards mighty so I can hold it in hand like normal and smkoe trough bubbler there? Since the new delta piece is just like cooling unit but in the center there's a 'dick' which I would like to attach the bubbler...? You can't attach that d020-d that way..?

What about the cheap budgie bubbler setup then? Basically a ultra cheap version of the F-Bomb i ordered if you want upright. You know anything you want or can imagine someone will make for you.

Glassblowing is great like that Laavamara just get a modified version or a budgie.

I would google vapefiend budgie bubbler, Or simply get a male to female adapter and the silicon whip method of attachment. The Easyflow method with page 211 seems to be the only all glass method i can see. It makes me excited for it coming this week.

Props to the folks on page 211 and thier methods ^^

Can anyone here with a Muzzmod please compare using a small water tool to just the stock CU dry (no water tool). Last night I was testing out hits at varying temperatures dry with the CU, and still cannot get over how effectively it cools so well!

So with the muzzmod, taking the CU out of the equation, i'm wondering if the water conditioned hits could in fact be harsher than dry CU hits?

Yes it is fine but you need to read page 211 on the Easyflow. When you get one you will see it has a screen so remove itand decide if you will instead put in the oil pad and eliminate the gap or use the screen to tamper down your bowls. I think im going to use the screen to tamper and pack down my bowls with the F-Bomb.

I got it around 3pm today and it seems pretty damm good, Just remember though never ever twist it all the way around like a cooling unit. You only do it 1/3 of the way it is very important otherwise you will break the plastic on your vape.

Please do not put your 'dick' in the bubbler , they are not made for that use and it can turn into a scary situation quickly.

Has this happened to anyone? The other day with maybe 2 bars to go (gee for some reason I can't remember exactly :sherlock:) my Mighty shut off. Plugged it in but the screen didn't turn on to indicate it was charging, which was scary. But I turned it on to see if everything was cool and it seems like having it on for awhile helped, switched it back off and the usual blinking battery gauge was there. I'm sad because I guess I'll have to start the warranty process soon - it hasn't even been 4 months!

Since so many posts on forums like this are negative, I thought I'd post something positive.

I freaking love the Mighty!

I recently got a PAX 2 and liked it even better than I thought I would, so I've been using it almost exclusively lately. I like the form factor and the tech inside is awesome. But today I decided to use my Mighty for a change, and wow, I don't care how good other vapes can be, they still can't hold a candle to the Mighty for low resistance, vapor production, or how much bang from your material buck you get!

Yeah man! It's no question that the Mighty has the best vapor production in all the land. I think their decision to make the batteries non user-serviceable is the only detracting factor here. But heck, if it will work forever via the wall plug I guess I can't whine too much!

Will it work forever via the wall plug when the batteries go? It's not a true battery bypass, but can a severely depleted battery that needs replacement provide enough life for the charger to continue providing power? Great question!

Also wondering why S&B didn't make the Mighty flat so it can stand like the Crafty? I know it can still stand, but it's an accidental fall waiting to happen. Just odd for the design change?

Yeah I fucked my bubbler and I'm loving it thanks!
Too bad my oil pad is in shrieks but I'll have to buy some screens and pack the (Sperm) load with them

@Ratchett has a great stand for the Mighty. Will solve all your worries.

I think it's fully intentional because the Mighty is kinda tall and narrow and could still fall or be bumped over easily. Those 'delicate' areas near the bowl might be more prone to breaking. That small amount of shock has damaged my Craftys in the past. The unit would have to have a flared bottom to be more stable.
I fashioned a stand from a single length of copper wire. If I were not nervous about posting photos (I live in a backwards ass state) I'd put up a photo, as I am pretty pleased with it! Can anyone give me some specific detail about how to do that? A pm would be good.

I have high hopes that Mighty will live on as a plug in when batteries die, has anyone gotten to that point yet?
Possible test: run the Mighty all the way down til it won't start, the plug in and try to turn on immediately. I'll try that soon, though it still won't tell the ultimate story.

If it was intentional why would they make it more unstable by giving it the ability to stand on the stir pin, regardless of its orientation?
The fact that an object has a balance point doesn't mean it was designed that way. I have a friend who can balance a ten foot ladder on his chin...should he be thanking the manufacturer for being clever?
The question remains, Why would they make Crafty flat-bottomed and not Mighty? Is the answer that the Mighty can balance itself precariously? Doubtful, no?

I'm afraid that we'll never have an answer to this, but S&B are clever enough to do things for a reason, perhaps they would explain in an email. May just have to do that. The Mighty sure does look nice when it's balanced on the stir pin. In fact, I do it all the time (when the subwoofer is OFF), and just wished that it was flat like the Crafty.

I remember now that Mighty was designed and then later they thought of Crafty. At least that's how their narrative goes. So maybe flattening the bottom and putting the crappy label there were considered improvement over the older sibling.

Absent any pre-knowledge of the Mighty, I'd look at it and expect it would firmly stand up. And after finding out it doesn't stand up as expected I'd say to myself, "What the flock were those engineers thinking?? Why in hell would you not enable an easy standing architecture?"

It's not a dealbreaker but I still say WTF were they thinking? Crazy to not build that in as a given/ no-brainer.
