The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

I was going to go with the crafty too but I didn't want to regret not getting the mighty... I ordered it off vapornation but now theyre saying itll be 5-7 days before theyre in stock :\

yeah i am chatting with them now too. i am thinking about cancelling the order and just ordering a crafty from S&B with free overnight shipping. They said 3-5 days to process refund tho? that is pretty deceptive imo, they didn't put a sign up like they did the crafty that says out of stock

Yea I'm pretty upset because I would have just bought from S&B if I knew it was gonna take this long, but vapornation said that I'll get free next day air shipping once it comes in so that's a plus.

If you place your orders by 10am PST you'll have your Crafty /Mighty the next day . If you order later in the day you still might get it the next day depending on where you live ? I ordered late on a Wed. and had it Friday from Ca.-NY.

Yeah they gave me the expedited shipping too. Not sure if it's next day though, I better talk to them to make sure. If I wasn't saving 50 bucks I would have cancelled and got the crafty from S&B site. The free gift is a nice plus too, I picked the smokebuddy. Hopefully it will be here by next weekend..

Thanks! If you wanna see more stupid comedy, I started making these daily Instagram videos. If you're on there, go follow @disposablevideo - Or checkout www.youtube.com/disposablevideotv for the same

I bought one of those Starbucks frappacciiiinos today from Vons grocery. I washed out the glass bottle then threw in my Cooling Chamber pieces, filled up the narrow glass bottle with rubbing alcohol. let it soak for one hour, then I vigorously shook the bottle. Rinsed everything off. Good as new. No need to use a brush of any kind. Love this vape.

So for the nice relaxing holiday, I indulge in a brownie and start cleaning my cooler. My cooler had quite a bit of build up. I like to pre grind my meds ahead of time, 1/4 a time. I use a coffee grinder since its fast.

Never had an issue with the Pax and the grind but seems like its too fine for the stock screen on the cooler(or the one mine came with) of the Mighty.

Well, since I just restocked on a variety of meds, I decided to change the screen out with the finer screen to see if it helps. Oh, that little tool does come in handy. Ill give it a try and open it up after I am done with this batch. If it continues, I will revert back to stock and change my grind technique.

BTW, the Wear and Tear set is a very valuable addition. I'm glad I ordered it with the Mighty!

Hey guys!

Haven't been to this thread in a while. Just an update since it's been about 3 weeks now with the Mighty. After 3 whole weeks, it's my most used machine ever! I love this thing and I take it everywhere and have turned into a major pothead because of it. I rarely use my Volcano now which I still love. Just love this device way way more. Friends love it too. So after I got my initial unit, I messed up the LCD screen in a really bad way. Storz-Bickel were awesome about my dumbass. They sent me a new unit free of charge and included a pre-paid box to send the old one too. New one is flawless. Excellent customer service on their end too. I bought the car adapter which is awesome and one extra cooling unit.

One thing I noticed after 3 weeks of hard use was that it's been tough lately to get some nice clouds going. Vapor has been thin. I thought it was my rosemary bushes. I thought they had dried out too much or something. Stupid me. Thing was clogged and it was such a slow build that I barely noticed. So rule of thumb. Keep an extra cooling unit on hand or clean regularly. Installing the brand new unit resulted in me smoking several hits, passing out, rolling out of my favorite chair and then rolling off my deck, landing on a skateboard which rolled down my driveway and into a bus. I'm ok now. The mighty is awesome. Favorite buy. That is all.

Oh wait. No. One more thing. How are you guys and gals cleaning your cooling units? I was just going to dunk it into rubbing alcohol and let it soak up those juices for 1 hour and then hopefully it just rinses off? I don't know how this works.
Great fucking post!

I'm pretty sure I read here that S&B says not to soak it, but to just rub it with a cotton pad or something like that in ISO.
S&B says to not soak for more than an hour. (I tend to soak for 5-15 minutes then clean ... I purchased the wear&tear kit for my Crafty though so have two cooling units and swap them out/clean them daily)

I'll be purchasing additional cooling units once a vendor has them available in Canada ... w/ an additional 3-pack I'd have 5 total which would be good ... could stretch this into lasting a week :)

And to put my cleaning regime into perspective ... I clean my hydratubes after 1 day of use as well ... I also used to clean my glass pipes daily before switching to vaporization .... clean glass is just so much better! ... clean tastes better and is much less harsh

That's the problem with the spice/coffee grinders, even if your pulsing skills are spot on they have a tendency to turn at least some of your stash into powder. Look into a hand grinder that shreds.

Yes, look for a grinder that shreds...
Hmmmmm, Santa Cruz SHREDDER.....

A high quality vape will still fully extract from nicely shredded herb and it won't be sucked thru all the screens

I mentioned elsewhere on FC that the motion of the blades in a blade coffee grinder is so fast that it creates significant heat buildup. This degrades the herbal compounds before they even get to the filling chamber. I had suggested that a conical burr coffee grinder might be useful, but upon further consideration if the herbs are very sticky I doubt a conical burr coffee grinder would work. I think there's room in the vaporization market for a better grinder. Why isn't anyone manufacturing a ceramic grinder, with similar shape or at least functionality to the S&B acrylic one, for example?

I doubt the heat buildup is significant enough to make an impact.

Feel the warm blades after spinning them(please unplug the device first). Coffee connoisseurs don't opt for expensive conical burr grinders over cheap blade grinders for no reason. It's because they like to taste all the essential oils in the material, not have them degrade before use.

They have an excellent model for grinding larger quantities at a time, the jumbo 2-piece:

Thanks fellas...after researching, I found it here with a pretty good price(using the code @NinjaMindTriks used, blaze20)....another valuable addition to the Mighty!!!

It's funny to see people who list like 40 different vaporizer devices that they own under each of their FC comments, complaining about the price of S&B products. Here's an idea for them: You could start selling some of those devices, until you have the funds for a Mighty or a Crafty, or a Volcano.

I figure the release of the Crafty and the Mighty will only serve to depreciate the resale value of all those models which are IMO inferior, so why not sell them while you can?

I can see on the crafty are some screws so it seems possible to change the battery if needed.
I don't see screws on the mighty though.... are there any?

I felt a screw hole behind the serial # sticker on the Mighty. Never peeled off the sticker though.

That just happened...
i had a accident yesterday and broke my left arm and separated my right shoulder. The loading tool is really coming in handy. I'm not sure I could load the mighty without it or help from my wife. I'm really glad I just acquired a few ounces of blue dream. I'm going to need it over the next few weeks. :):(

Sincere sympathy...and curiosity...how did you manage to accomplish such a feat?

Just ordered through storz and bic. ... Approx. two days to Canada.

Now I have a herbalizer and a mighty! I hope I'm good for at least a couple of years now.

Damn VAS!

Just to confirm, I can use it while charging, right? It just can't be completly dead?

I am pretty sure you can use the mighty while charging even when its fully dead, the Crafty however, needs a minimum charge before you can use while charging. As soon as my mighty battery dies I will try it for you.... damn guess I need to go 'test' some more :)
