Have to share a quick story with you guys...

The day after New Year, my car was broken into. I don't keep anything really expensive in my car, besides my MP3 player, but I had left my MFLB, fully loaded, in the car that night. The thief kinda tossed some things around and only took the MP3 player. He left my MFLB right where I left it. Guy probably had no idea what it was... LOL.

Seriously, be sure to let me know if you sell those. IDK if magic flight would mind either. I can imagine everyone wanting high quality wood stems with custom logos or engravings...or even plain.

Thanks! Im going to look and see if I can get the rods in different wood. I doubt it tho. However I can use different stains, and even mask off parts of the wood to only stain certain patterns. That would look sweet! Im going to re-evaluate the whole process of making them. It was a pain in the ass!! Out of a 3' rod I got 3 good ones and that whole process took a few hours! And they were plain ones!! I'm going to see if I can use a a friend's drill press, get some mini spade drill bits and maybe pump out a bunch this weekend.

Love My MFLB!

What do y'all think, does the PA make the difference between love and lust?

I havn't tried it yet, but the idea of not having to charge up every couple hours sounds really nice.

The PA is great for use when portability is not needed. Not necessary though as many of us enjoyed the box for many moons with batts only but... Nice having that fresh batty feeling every time when you're near power.

As far as price, maybe 6 for plain ones and 12 for customc?? Possibly slighly more or less depending if I can figure out a easier way to do it without 5 different stages of drill bits....or just get better at it...

I'm not too sure how to go about this tho. Maybe start a "Supreme Stems" thread (general discussion?) to see if there are really enough people that want these to make this project worth starting?? I totally will do it tho as long as MF is cool with it.

I'd probably pay 12 for a custom etched one. I sure as hell use my MFLB enough. Be sure to keep me updated if this goes through.

There are many mods that can be done on your Launch Box, but be careful as many will VOID your warranty.

This is not correct. Magic-Flight honours their warranty even if you do something stupid.

Has anyone tried vaping kief (not compressed) by itself with their launch box? I'm unaware of how kief becomes when vaped.. does it melt or just disintegrate?

I really enjoy kief in my MFLB. You have to make sure to shake and flip it after every hit, but after the first hit the keif melts together and creates a sort of hash like pellet that can easily be flipped and hit for a good while. Taste waaaay to good and that first hit is pure bliss. It's definitely one of my preferred ways of vaping kief.

i would be careful with that...the launch box has very tiny holes in its screen so the vapor can reach the mouth piece, so if your kief/herb ratio is to high you screen will clog up and your launch box will be very innefficient! make sure you iso wash it after vaping kief. just dab a Q-tip in some iso and lightly wipe the screen.

I've never had a problem with screen clogging, but like you recommend I do dab a q-tip with iso and give the screen a good cleaning regularly. This is why turning/stirring the kief is very important as to avoid burning a spot too much which makes the kief melt a bit more, resulting in some possible screen clogging. Once again I've never had any troubles but I do take very good care and maintenance of my MFLB.

I'd suggest including your serial number for your box and a picture of the screen if you can to help facilitate service. Do not throw the old box out as they may as you to send back in.

Also, you can't grind too fine* - I've had the best results when it's about the same size as grains of sand.

*(in my experience, w/ the grinders listed in my sig).

Have any of you packed the MFLB in carry on luggage for air travel? I've just started to use my MFLB and am wondering whether the box retains the tell tale odor. I'm trying to avoid checking my luggage for a short trip and would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

I've done it, used a Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol to give the inside cover and screen a light ISO wash and I was fine. For the batteries, I have a emergency charger that holds 4AA batteries, I put 2 peeled and 2 normal in there.

I would not take any medication in carry on though.
