Hey guys, Just bought my mflb a couple days ago. This is my 2nd vape, first being the extreme q that i love and use daily. I'm having some issues with uneven burning and getting black pieces . I know there is a learning curve with these but I'm just looking for some helpful tips. I hold the battery in for about 3 seconds , draw for about 5 let go of battery and suck for like another 2 seconds. I was drawing very slow at first but it seemed to be too hot so now i draw a little harder and its better but still getting black pieces of bud with some green and brown pieces. I shake the hell out of the box. I even tried using the brush to wipe the trench after every hit to make sure no bud is stuck on there.Anyways I hope I gotta like break it in or something cause it is definitely a cool little vape. How many hits should i be able to get from sayyy 1/2 full trench? Since ive been drawing a little harder the first couple hits are great but after like the 3rd or 4th hit i get a nasty taste and when i look at bud there is little black pieces at the bottom. not many but still there.Thinking about getting the solo or maybe try the thermovape since its convection. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.thanks

Stick to it man, once you get the hang of it the MFLB is a great vaporizer. My suggestions would be to grind the weed up as fine as you can. Get them to a very fine grind and load 1/2 a trench. It depends how big your hits are. I can take as many as 12 hits or 6. It depends on how big they are. Also if you want start inhaling 1 second after you turn it on, but very slowly, and adjust your draw speed later.

Hello everyone I'm new to this site and vaporizers I just joined today but have been lurking for quite some time. I have been doing a good amount of research for a portable since I'm always out or cutting hair and the mflb just seems to have the most benefits. I'm just sick of smoking at this point and am looking for a way to get more medicated as my tolerance has sky rocketed the past year or two.. My main question is does this thing really get you nicely medicated or should I look elsewhere? Any help would be greatly appreciated since I really don't know much. (Total vapor noob)
There's so many different options when you buy a vape but I think we can all say comfortably the magic flight is a great vape and its worth every penny.

Here is what the MFLb offers:

-easy maintenance. I very rarely give it a good cleaning (Q-tip and iso alcohol). Otherwise you just have to clean it after every trench by blowing on the screen and using ur brush. This only takes 2 seconds.
-Relatively simple design makes it durable. Theres just less to go wrong.
-Lifetime warranty and exceptional costumer service.
-Relatively cheap price compared to other vaporizers.
-flexibility. With the concentrate tray, power adapter, and water pipe you can vape hash, hash oil, and/or run your vapor through a bong.
In terms of vapor quality im not sure how it fairs to others because i havent tried any other vaporizers, so ill leave it to someone else. The MFLB's vapor quality is largely dependant on how you use it. Once you get over the learning curve you will see major improvements in vapor quality.
I recommend getting the Power adapter, or an extra set of batteries if ur a heavy user. I will not say the MFLB is the best portable vaporizer you can get in its price range, because like i said i never tried anything else. All I can say is im very satisfied with my MFLB purchase, and im sure a lot of posters here feel the same way.

There is no doubt that the LB can get you nicely medicated, but you write that your tolerance has skyrocketed. If you need to consume a lot in a short time, the LB will be frustrating, as will most other pocket portables.

Since you own so many portable vaporizers, care to comment on the vapor quality? Im just curious as to how it fares in comparison to the rest. Im talking about smoothness, thickness, taste.
The vapour quality of the LB depends on the user. Slow, patient hits can produce thick clouds from the LB. It takes a little practice, and due to the size of the trench, if you always want thick clouds then you will have to reload often. I don't like thick vapour, so for me the LB does quite well without extra work.
The smoothness depends on whether you hit it native (harshest) or use a stem (smoother) or a whip (even smoother) or a bubbler (smoothest). This is true for all devices but the LB has a shorter vapour path than most if you go native. I use mine native almost exclusively, and I don't find the vapour harsh enough to bother me.
The LB has its own flavour that it adds to your vapour. It is subtle in a broken-in Box, but it's still there. Some don't notice, some do and don't like it. I notice but I like it. Other than that, the flavour of the strain is quite strong and in my opinion, tasty. For me, one of the unexpected but most appreciated benefits of vapourizing is the taste. Heating (cooking) the load degrades taste rapidly. The LB only heats the load when you are hitting it, so I rank it near the top for delivering flavour. It prolongs good taste more than a constant-on device, even the much-praised Solo.

is one of my best vaping experiences.
My all glass vapolution 2.0 tastes as good and has better follow up pulls, but it cannot duplicate the
immediacy, presence, or power of the LB's miniscule vapor path - hitting it native -. The high from the LB is different from other vapes. I guess I could say that of any vape.

If you're getting black " pieces" you aren't grinding enough. The MFLB needs to be grounded to a just about powder consistency to work at its optimum, the more it's grounded the better it performs,seriously. The rest will come once you get the grind right.

Just vaped some kief i got from my dealer. He gave me like 3 Gs for free for doing him a favor, but i always get some kief from him and have a should i throw them with the weed or straight up vape it debate in my head haha. I ended up vaping pure kief today, wake and bake on a sunday morning couldnt be better. 2 trenches and im so high. Fuck vaping hash oil with the concentrate trey, and torch lighter and tweezers and dabber and shit. I might just ditch the hash oil attempt for kief as its much less hassle.

What do you guys do with the ABV? Im thinking of ingesting 3-4 grams, but it must taste like shit. Im making pasta tomorrow, and im thinking naybe ill try putting it in with tomato sauce, fresh basil. oregano and melted cheese to drown the taste. Anyone try eating that shit?

Yep. Tastes like roasted herb to me.
The roasted flavor reminds me of coffee or stouts.
I'd worry more about the texture when combined with other food, at least to me that can be more off putting.

I do. For me it's indica as hell, pretty empty in terms of recreational high, good for pain and sleeping. I've had it a bunch of ways, raw (just eating it with water), in capsules, in butter, in coconut oil, I've made ISO oil with it, pb&j, mixed with yogurt or Nutella.
The kind of high you get depends on how well you vaporize your material. Lighter toasts will have more cannabinoids, heavier vaping leaves you with less. I mentioned earlier in the Ascent thread that THC vaporizes at a lower temperature than CBD. The more you vape your trench, the less THC you get and at some point you start to vape the CBD as well (and countless other cannabinoids). I tend to load enough to thoroughly vaporize usually, which is why I get a more sedating high (higher proportion of CBD to THC). I've overdone it a couple of times and it's not a pleasant experience. I got an elevated heartbeat and just generally shitty high. Kinda sketched out at stuff that I wouldn't normally even think about. The kind of high you just can't wait to sleep to get away from but knowing you'll probably still be stoned tomorrow morning.
I don't know that I would recommend 3-4 grams at one time. Generally my doses range around 1.5-2 grams, but I can see 4 grams getting me uncomfortable.
I've found that my favorite way to use it is to infuse it into coconut oil. It absorbs incredibly well into it, better than butter. I put it on food, toast, whatever really. It's kind of unhealthy though, check the nutritional facts.
The easier way, though, is to just eat it raw. I have some Ensure drinks in the fridge for the days I don't have an appetite (can last from a day to a week). I drink half, add ABV, cap and shake. Drink it fast and have a glass of water nearby because your mouth may feel a bit "gritty." Effects usually within 45-75 minutes and peak around 1.5-2hrs after you start feeling it. The liquid does help absorb faster than food I think. I've had some edibles not hit me for 2.5 hours before
I've made a habit of separating my stems from ABV, I just don't feel like I should eat them. Stick them in the grinder, put a nickel or two in the collection chamber, and give it a good couple spins for free kief
I dunno, I just don't eat those.

I don't understand the negative view of ABV. You take the flowers we all love, cook them, and they become shit? Sure, the flavor is nothing like delicious fresh ganja, but shit? It tastes fine to me...
