No worries, I guess sometimes too.....
Looking back I wasn't very clear, the "hopefully" part was about it not sticking, not that I had finally got one right.
Which I also expect to do, any time now.
Sorry about that. I suspect most guys ignore it (or lose it), and no other maker I know provides it. I got onto the practice from the days of 'stopcock grease', the little had operated GonG valves with the tapered rotor? You had to grease them to get them to rotate smoothly and seal. These days I use Silicone vacuum grease (a thicker version of what you have) when I bother.
One thought is if you jam one and have used it it'll probably turn out well. If you didn't first thing you'll do is wish you had?
