Really having a tough time justifying $35 for the finishing grinder...

Anyone have a good cheap(er) alternative? I've got a decent grinder right now... just doesn't get it quite fine enough without grinding it upsidedown for like a minute.

You don't need another grinder. You don't even need to grind upside down. Just grind it, then put a quarter in and shake for a minute or so, done. You even get to keep the quarter.

Scissors in a shot glass works well for me. With a few snippety snips I can get the grind as fine as I want. And shot glasses are free almost everywhere you look. They usually come free when you order a shot at the bar and put the empty shot glass in your girlfriend's purse by accident.

I usually grind my meds, put them in a glass small bottle and with a little scissors cut until is fine enough. One pic of my Instagram:

At the end of the day, if you still want a grinder just pick up a Volcano grinder for $7. Grinds very fine. I would try the other suggestions first though, as free is always nice

Yeah, but a whole girlfriend (complete with purse) is a mighty expensive thing to keep around to save a buck or two on glassware.......

For less than half that price, you can get one of the whirly-blade coffee grinders. You know, the ones that have the lid/grind chamber at the top and you can take the top cover off? They turn nugs into sand really fast, I'm talking perfect consistency for the LB. You'll want something similar in design to this:

If I can't get a fine i'll just take a short hit or two , dump the trench into my left palm , crush it with right index finger and dump it back in the box. If you want a small mf nano grinder google it.

They say that they are selling the Herbal Concentrate Tray, Water Pipe Whip, and Finishing Grinder.
Is this for real? Just checked the MF store incase they released it and had not heard about it yet and the concentrate tray isn't even available yet.
Nothing has really changed except for an updated photo for the new batts and brush.
I also thought the WPW and FG were exclusively available from MF only.

I have the new batteries and to be honest, I dont see that they are that much powerfull than others. Maybe its just me or maby my box isnt working right ( it is a old box i have had for i think 4 years). But I was expecting a lot different experience than this.

The new batts are great I think.
They came with my walnut box and since the first use I noticed a considerable difference.
The heat up time is much shorter. 3 or 4 seconds I would say.
Longer lifespan and can vape more trenches compared to the old ones.

It's for real. I believe it's still in the beta phase, though.

I was thinking the exact same thing. From what Erik said, it was not released yet, but was very close.

I'm guessing there will be a release soon.
I did a quick search for the tray, came upon kustomkultureshop.com and were also selling them but were out of stock.
They say it will come with 2 trays. One screened and one unscreened.
So this begs the question if there really be a release of 2 trays. Wishful thinking I suppose.

They're actually fairly uncommon, the PA needs over an Amp (what most common WWs seem to end at). IIRC worst case is about 1.8 Amps (it goes up with power level of course). The car cord and a 'car power supply' might be easier to scare up. Otherwise these should work:

We'll see how it goes..


To answer your question poonman. Apparently the screened tray is for concentrates that fully melt and leave no residue behind and the unscreened for concentrates that don't.

Since you pre-melt the oil/wax before vaping, the screen acts like an ice cube tray to keep it evenly spread across the surface of the tray.

This is sort of how I am feeling right now with my 2-3ish year old (could be older for all I Reallly know, consider these icons to analogize buying/selling of mine for 10-20 bucks, can't remember really. Him/me, , or as for the dubious nature, but mostly it was or just himand me when I bought it..

I've gotten it to work a few times and think I can figure a way to get reliability.

My 'new' batteries are maha 2700, they suck to peel, are there better ones to peel? gross. maybe i did it wrong.

I'm 70% hoping I'll figure out how to use this thing right and 30% hoping something's wrong with mine and that they are usually better.. Do these fail after a while whilst continuing on working, or do they tend to go kaputt abruptly and totally? ish..

Well put it this way, with the old stock batteries, the worst I ever did to my trenches was turn them black. With the new ones, I was actually able to light a cherry IN the box... twice. I wasn't able to do that with the old stock ones. Twice with these new ones.

Oh yeah they sure can combust.
First time I used them (unknowingly that they weren't the previous batts) I lit a cherry in my brand new box. Ah.
But they are great.
Just used a freshly charged one.

Use the power adapter. I found performance lacking compared to the PA even with the Logo Batteries.

I was wondering if it would fit the PA and power brick FG and a small case the size of a cigarette box.
