Yes, BC bud was some of the most bombing crop I've tasted, I have to agree. The problem in Amsterdam is that sometimes you literally are spoiled for choice - there's so many options, recommendations and your own hope for a bargain/aversion to being cheated coming into play that it's often difficult to know what would be best unless you've stayed in that city over a period of time and sampled many things. I don't imagine I'd have picked up anywhere near the best green in the 'Dam if I'd been there for say, three or four days. Sometimes even the best Coffeeshops have weak batches (in my experience) for one reason or the other, so it's a bit of a patient waiting game to see what suits you most (because I really think that it comes down to personal taste after a point).
I've lived in India all my life, I was only in Amsterdam on scholarship to study film and culture. I'm done studying for now, I freelance write about electronic music (including in the Rolling Stone here ) and am moving to Goa to work on my first novel. You guys should come visit.
I'm looking for film schools to go to at the end of the year, suggest me a couple good ones in America and maybe I can come!
I might be applying to the Australian national film school though, so there's a chance I'll end up in Sydney.

Haha you get some great herb down South actually, famous strain called Idiki Gold after the town in Kerala where it originates. A lot of fake Idiki strains going around though, people selling you shit for top prices because they claim to have some Gold. Also, edible marijuana (bhang) is legal in a couple of our states. but that shit will fuck you up haha.
Otherwise, if you have a hash vape or don't mind combusting for a trip, our country is famous for what is probably the world's best charas. That alone, way up in the Northern mountains, is worth ten trips to the country. As for the climate, I'd recommend coming any time but the rain if you want to go there, but that's because I abhor rain personally. I guess Feb-March would be the best time to come.

While pondering Amsterdam vs USA herbage, opening my container of MFLB grind Karma Bitch. Wow... it was ALL over the edges. So of course, I had to scrape.

Scraped up a little bit. Would it be enough?

I fill my trench up all the way to the edge lines where the trench ends though, because after a while, with some of the finest particles being blown away, the herb drying and some grind falling out through the air vent between the trench and the edge of the box (am I the only one that happens to?), it's no longer as full as it was in the beginning.

I really cannot wait for my PA and WPA. I've promised myself that's when I'll stop combusting for good. Right now I need a couple joints of some fresh mountain charas to keep me going while the batteries charge.

If you go back to BDV's last photo posting you'll note a tiny bit of tape at the 'one o'clock position' just outside the edge of the bowl in that air passage? There ya go.

Several of us do just that for just that reason. Others because it slows the airflow. Some for both.

It's nice to not have to charge batteries.. especially if you use it at home a lot. i usually use my PA around the strength of a full 2700, maybe even a little lower.. it's nice having consistent steady power instead of a weakening power.. it's nice to be able to turn it up for the water pipes too.. that's the only way i use my LB at home now. I imagine the charas is too sticky to use mix-in there huh? i posted in another thread a way i vape oils and sticky hashes w/ the LB but i wouldn't try it w/o a PA, on ~3/4. i couldn't guarantee your screens complete safety though, and being in india it probably wouldn't be worth the risk.
EDIT:i usually only use the box for flowers though.. vaping extracts makes the screen all sticky and gets it caked up w/ particles quick.. if i vape extracts i usually do ha heat cycle after to burn off some oils from the screen. i do that every day i use it pretty much.. i dont like when my box makes its own smoke i try to keep it clean. the PA helps a lot w/ that too..

My MFLB has been getting some good loving lately but I can't even finish a trench in the box before the box itself smells like I've dabbed a half ounce of oil through it. My herb is good dried cured herb, it produces a shitload of vapor, anyone else have this issue? A good ISO swab with the brush on the trench seems to kill the smell but just wondered if anyone else has experience with it.

Note: the box smells WITHOUT herb in it. There's no buildup on the bottom that I can see.

i had a problem w/ my light being not always working even when my connection was (on a new box)... it did heat up though.. but the light not being reliable was kind of annoying.. are u sure the box isn't heating up?.. also on that same box i had the light issue w/ it had a tight fit on the + side and a wobbly fit on the - side so sometimes i got a bad connection, while not always being able to know when i was having a connection issue.. i had this issue w/ my box i had that didn't have the lid lock... that box ran a little cooler than my newer model too.. w/ the light not working right, it was hard to tell how much charge i had on my batteries..

Dunno what's up with the batteries, possibly rated at that but not their true capacity? It's somewhat (un)common but it can happen. They might be around 10-15 mAh's off, might be almost 600 off. One of those fancy ~$40-50 chargers from Amazon can rate them for you so you see capacities on a readout, as well as charge/discharge and refreshing which seems to give old batteries new life. It is an investment at that price but it seems that with one can't live once they get it... Do the old ones sustain light longer than a hit or two (as in, do those still work noticeably better than the new ones?)

Dunno. Mine still smells a bit "skunky" even without weed. I do see a tiny bit of discoloration inside of the floor but it doesn't seem as if any actual oil has built up in it. I think the wood absorbs some of the smell, so it can never "truly" be cleaned up and smell gone like with some other vapes.

Also got some GoldCaps because why not? Figured I'd give them a shot seeing as I had a bit of money on my card I had forgotten about took 1 and about an hour later I felt something... but I didn't quite know what. It was like I knew I was high but I wasn't feeling high. I was hitting the buds below in varying ratios out of the oiler. I also had a trench of the GDP way earlier and it was awesome for my hip today. Forgot anything hurt and walked around the mall, even got some clothes Anyways, I can still kinda feel it I think, 6 hours later. I guess the only way I knew I was high was because my vision was... different. Not too much pain relief but I haven't noticed any nausea and I had seconds without noticing It's just really really clear-headed for me. Almost so much that it doesn't really feel like anything. I'll try two caps tomorrow morning.

Sorry to see that your WPA has fallen apart. We can ship a replacement WPA right away. As as far as adding a new order (the Power Adapter) to your warranty replacement request, this is not something we normally can accommodate, as the orders department and the warranty department ship from different locations. However, I can check on Monday when our offices re-open to see if an exception can be made in your case. If so, we’ll have someone call you to work out the payment details for the Power Adapter.
Again, this is not standard policy, but we always want to go above and beyond (including answering emails on a Sunday) to make sure that we provide exceptional customer service at every opportunity.

This is why I love MF, and have never regretted buying an LB. I'd recommend it to anyone as their very first vape - in fact, with the PA (and, if you like, a WPA/whip) I'd imagine it becomes quite a handy desktop vape as well, serving both utilities so you don't need to go for two separate models all at once. The photo Hobbit refers to is that of my WPA, which arrived in three unconnected parts. I've found that these guys aren't usually being anything but busy -that's why it sometimes takes a while for a reply. The best way is usually some gentle prodding on a couple of fronts - I, for example, emailed them as well as wrote on their Facebook. Also, the ever-wonderful Randy from PuffItUp (a store I cannot recommend more highly) may have given them a friendly nudge in my direction as promised!
I can't wait.

.. the PA changes everything IMO, i don't really use it any other way... MF has the awesome customer service.. they got back to me at like 7pm x-mas eve. this vape is worth the money.. you get a cool vape and great service.. and that warranty.. ha that pic clip is so weird ha.wtf

On-topic: how many batteries do you guys exhaust over a typical trench? Something I've always wondered, but I'm guessing it also has to do with the moisture in the herb. I usually hit a trench with two/three batts. After about one and a half it starts tasting more... woody, but I like milking it for what it's worth hehe.

when i use a battery i usually use one battery for one trench, and top it off while i use another fresh one for the next trench. i can get like 2 trenches out of it though.. maybe even 3 if i really have to. it must be a moisture thing?

I get two as well, sometimes I can stretch it to three. If you need more than one battery a trench I think your herb must be too moist.

I agree, it can be done. But my practice is to plan on 1.5 trenches per battery. It's far better to have a little battery left when the herb is gone than the other way around.

It's a personal thing for sure, but black is way past where I change it out. I'm closer to light roast coffee for the darker stuff, much is lighter still. I usually go by taste, I end the session just before (or as) the flavor starts to change a bit toward 'burnt popcorn'.

Like OF said, its a matter of preference. When I was just a young lad on the forum (BigBoyVapor) we had a rather lively discussion on, was a MFLB capable of completely extracting the actives from herb, or would another vape... squeeze out, what the MFLB couldn't?

Please... let's not start it again. It was ugly and the beginning of why you either love me, or hate me. Use the search function. Plus, Wat seems to have dropped off the face of the planet. (anyone know what's up with that?)

I usually don't take mine past a light/medium brown... might see a little piece of dirty green here and there. Mostly because I start disliking the taste, at that point. Though, if I want to stretch it out, I'll throw in some kief, just before that... extends the trench/flavor.
