You guys are super helpful, thanks. Perhaps, like mom mentioned, I've probably had some light combustion. I didn't think the slightly thicker vapor and popcorn taste (like one's reached the end of a bowl) were indicative of combustion, because the vapor is just thicker not smoke like, but I DO have some black in my ABV. At one point I take my abv out to crush it and then repack, this makes some of the ABV powder-like, this powder does get black with me, the bigger pieces in the ABV never do only this powder type duff does-- not all of it but some in almost every trench. So who knows, perhaps it is combustion. I was hoping the thicker vapor was just me getting the draw right. Perhaps not. It is difficult to tell though. Tdavie mentioned getting thicker clouds when letting the battery sit for a little longer, that is exactly when I get the thicker vapor (no harshness at all), no cherry reddening , but perhaps the black ABV is indicative of some combustion..?
I never imagined though that one actually combust enough to get ash. wow. that's gotta suck!
case: i'm trying to figure out a way for less air in my inhalation and more vapor. I let the battery sit without drawing for about 2-5 seconds (depends) and then draw while letting the batt sit for about 5-15 seconds, depending again. i am drawing very slow (though by the end of the draw I am fucking sucking it like a madman cuz i like that whole venturi effect thing plus I think it helps cool things down faster if I let the batt sit for too long). the vapor to air ratio is low even when i don't pull for much longer after i've removed the battery. if this ratio could be increased, this little box would be much more effective i think.
i am really liking this little guy tho, it's nifty. it definitely has its uses and I'm gonna keep using this thing exclusively till i learn the technique right & proper!
