This trench is for @OF a true OG, thanks for them stems, I'm enjoying it on this beautiful day, got the lake to myself, can you imagine the peacefulness?
Loving the "flight journal". I keep checking for new pics. Where will @KidFated. launch box next? Do we get to vote? Definitely keep the pics coming!!
People have fixed that I believe but I think some had to file warranty? I hope someone else chimes in!
You're a great friend! I hope your friend was thankful for you!
Well, took it out of the box and the damn metal ring is misaligned so I can barely push in or pull out the battery. Is there any way to adjust this myself or is this an automatic warranty issue??
Is this a common occurance? Seems to me I've read about this happening to folks here.
Sincerely given Launch Boxes have their work cut out for them.... for it is a habit a launch Box has trouble breaking. An old friend came to visit me tonight. She was so impressed with the LB that I gave her my old faithful ....
Yeah, the only problem is I have to use my teeth to pull the battery out. And that's not easy either.Yes, it's normal. It's a spring, and loosens up a bit on it's own. It varies with battery types, and some of those are out of round enough that they fit better 'clocked' around some from the tightest spot.
If they don't start out on the tight side, you can end up with one that's too loose (used to be more common), which doesn't get better 'on it's own'.
Go ahead and enjoy it. Good karma from the gift is coming your way.

Wrap rubber bands around the batteries to get a better grip. My mouth hurts just thinking about that... It will loosen up with time.Yeah, the only problem is I have to use my teeth to pull the battery out. And that's not easy either.
No, this is not even close to being normal.

The darned boxes love the joy so much, that once on their journey they subtly influence owners to continue the trend, and "pass me on again, my friend".
It is not unusual for a box to land in 4th or 5th hands.
