Any method will result in combustion if you inhale too slowly. The MF batteries heat up faster so you will have to inhale a little faster but only a little. Yes, you won't need to wait quite as long for vapour to start. We're talking maybe a second or so though, since with the stock batteries you only need to wait 3-4 seconds.

I find the micre-sips helps prevent it from combusting . ime
It's the long steady inhales , that will get you in trouble . ime

I would also recommend the 1 ft whip , to allow you to watch your trench easier ,
which will help in refining your technique ....and of course the PA too .

I've had good luck with kief on the tray so far and it doesn't seem to gunk up the lid.

As far as my experience with the new MFLB batts, they do work with the tray but the cleaner the concentrate the better. Bubble hash didn't melt out as smooth as BHO but it worked. Just don't be surprised how quickly you can drain that battery.

I've run it with the 2700's as well....unsure if I want to recommend that as an option until I do some more experimenting...

...which is the problem! Need way too long of a break from these testing sessions....the concentrate tray brings the same strange, compounding, awesomely baked effects as herb does in the MFLB.

The post you are referring to didn't state that kief can't be used in the tray, it just says that vaping kief with the tray is approximately as useful as vaping standard grinded weed out of it. Kief isn't a concentrate, so using the concentrate tray for it is simply unnecessary.

I have really appreciated the LB this weekend. I have company so I can't be dragging my DBV out at all.

I have 2 sets of the 2700s and batteries charging all the time now. Can't wait for my new batteries.
A power adapter would ruin my whole purpose of needing the LB-stealth.

Yes , that's true .
The PA is not meant for stealth purposes .
It is meant for pure enjoyment enhancement purpose .
It will turn your LB into a desk top vape also .
That is why some of the members are recommending you get the PA .....
Enjoy it either way .;)

Can aa2 battery work in the box? I got two nimh 2500 mah batteries from engerizer.

I've seen a lot of excitement for the concentrates tray and that's awesome.

But, I've been vaping concentrates for a while with the MFLB. I just dab right on the screen, works great and I just swish a little iso once a week(or less depending on use) to clean it.

There are obviously problems with this in at least some cases. MF is sure to have tried it long ago and not made it a feature of their advertising....in fact they discourage it and IIRC invalidate the warranty for such 'abuse'? I'm sure it's not a ruse to sell adapters at a later date. They want folks to use their products as much as possible.

So, while I don't doubt a bit you've had success, I don't think we can recommend using the box against the makers advice with whatever concentrates random users have handy. Our experience with dedicated concentrate vapes shows there's a huge range of quality and contamination levels out there. And for sure we should consider if this will effect the warranty. Have you checked with the maker?

Seriously though, I haven't had any problems using it this way and the warranty is not an issue with me. I purchased my box years ago and got my moneys worth long ago. If it breaks and the warranty is invalidated I'll just go pay $75 dollars for a new one on ebay.

Btw, I "lost" it a couple weeks ago and "found" it after a cycle in my washing machine and it still works like a champ.

I don't really get the point of having 2 locks on the LB, but I guess it can be useful for those still using an old version of the box.

Fine by me, it's your call.

However your original advice didn't include any of that which is my concern. Without such qualifications I don't think it's advice we should be giving. And with that should be cautions that some concentrates have caused problems for some owners, not all of them fixed with 'a little swish of ISO'. The concentrate used no doubt plays a big role too?

And again, I'm glad it's working for you. I just don't think the next guy should take that as a green light to rush into it.

I did it anyways. It's too easy not to, unless you have problems with "altering" it that way. The little extra lock is a bonus, something I did with an Exacto with my previous box (which was from the time before the click-lock, rubber band crew!) but this is way easier and much more precise.

I also don't recommend concentrates of any kind in the box sans CT. Cool that it works for you, but I can see someone thinking ABV ISO oil will work too... and then have their screen/box ruined. It was the last thing I did to my old box after warranty... it didn't survive, was gutted and cleaned, and now looms over the collection from its metallic sepulcher.

i just brought some new logo batteries and a finishing grinder from the magic flight website. i notice they are selling the vapman vapourizer on there website.can anyone tell me how does the vapman compare to the mflb in terms of vapour quality. they are simliar in size.

My daily-driver MFLB has had at least 5oz. of good green run through it,as well as a lot of kief and beyond a quick once over with the factory brush she has never been cleaned. I like the "well seasoned" but faint taste she has acquired.
I've never tried any oils,bho,shatter or any of the high powered stuff you folks play with,but in the interest of experimental science I'll Vape all the concentrates anyone cares to send my way.
Please?
