how do you get clouds while using the launch box? ive seen people on youtube do it but any vapor im getting is invisible.

Same way you get to Carnegie Hall..... Practice, practice, practice.
You need to learn to control the heat. Stop concentrating on 'clouds'. Experiment with technique, follow the results you like. You are a critical part of the process, not a passenger.
In general, keep top shelf bud well cured, ground very fine, batteries freshly charged, never fill over the trench rails, draw SLOWLY, and shake, shake shake between hits.

Thanks for telling, does it restrict the draw a lot? For example, when the glassbowl is full, and you lift the connector with the LB a little, can i suck the vapor out of the bowl in 1 big draw or is the tube with mouthpiece so narrow that the draw takes ages ?
I don`t mind if a bong is a little bit taller, the bong i linked to, a few posts back, is about 30cm tall and that`s acceptable for me. Something like this will survive for a week max.
Problem with the bongs is that they all need a 18mm to 14mm adapter and i need to buy a waterpipe whip too. The total costs are little higher. But i`m sure that this one http://www.head-nature.com/tree/304.../09349/Weedstar-Big-Bang-Percolatorbong.xhtml can deliver big draws without restrictions.
I think it depends on the temperature, "how full or empty" the herb is and the how slow or fast you draw. When i have freshly grinded herbs in the box and take a first normal draw at~50%@PA i almost see no vapor but the taste is 100%. After a few draws i put up the PA a little to ~75%, now the herbs are dryer and the temp is higher. When i take a slow draw i can see the vapor clearly like a cloud, but no combustion ofc.
Btw, maybe i said it before, but i love how the FB gets the best out of bad herbs. Yesterday i discovered that i had a jar with herbs that was harvested 2 years ago. Bad quality, almost no smell, grown outdoor. I put some in the finishinggrinder, and even after grinding there was almost no smell. But vaping it, was great, very smooth and very very spacey
and i was about to throw it away

It describes the easy "long slow draw" technique which "produce(s) little to no visible vapor" and the advanced "sipping method" that "produces more visible vapor on exhale." So, experiment with the "sipping method" if you want "clouds."
HOWEVER it also says, and I quote:
We can certainly debate whether or not this statement is "true" or "desirable" but I quote it here to illustrate that the MFLB is specifically designed with the engineering goal that "large clouds of exhaled vapor are a waste of precious herb."
Well, "a lot" is a subjective measure. The volume of the Orbiter is small, that's a major reason why I like it. It doesn't take long to clear even with the restricted draw.

Personally I'd say push the heat limit until you combust once or twice. Try pushing the battery in first to let the screen warm up for a second or 2 before drawing really slow and monitor the temp of the vapor with your tongue. Once you combust once or twice you'll be able to tell in the future when the vapor stream is getting too hot and your about to burn the trench. After you dial in your hit you'll be able to pull nice size clouds off this little guy.
I also suggest lightly tamping the trench down after each shake/flip/stir to have the most herb in contact with the screen/vapor production zone as possible. It really helps for clouds.
congratulations for going with the orbiter.have you seen that other bong in real life before? that thing surely is bigger, than the picture conveys and not as handy as the orbiter. everyone has his own preferences, but for my liking it was just too big and too cumbersome, so glad i picked a small ehle instead. but when the orbiter came out, i had to get it too.
Warranty on the glass pieces is only for those of us who bought the orbiter in 2014.

Well, it wouldn't be the first time a website didn't work right in a mobile browser
. Find yourself a regular laptop/desktop computer and try again. In the unlikely event you truly don't have access to a computer, try a different browser on your phone or tablet - you might get different results. Often these sorts of rendering hiccups only affect some browsers but not others.

i managed to get some very minor clouds but its a slow learning process. no offense to the box but its so much easier to load up the volcano and get the vapor consistency i want every time. it also doesnt kill your hands either lol.

Keep at it. This is a way different tool than the volcano. I would never get rid of my mflb's.

Agreed. Then again there are huge differences involved with cutting that cord which is why MFLB and Volcano are not even in the same Forum. Volcano is an elegant machine with 'power to burn', MFLB has to be frugal with power in the extreme. Even when compared to other battery powered portables. It can only afford to heat a fraction of the load at a time (that in direct contact) and has to do so in a very demanding area of power distribution (very high currents at very low voltages, the exact opposite of what we'd prefer) based on marginal performance characteristics of it's (nearly unique) battery.
I think it's unfortunate you made this choice if the goal was 'easy clouds'. Solo/Air, FM, and others of that sort are probably a better match. FWIW I just got an Imap+ from PIU ($55, sucha deal), it's pretty impressive (and very fast) in this mode. MFLB is more for those of us that are looking for other things.
You can get better 'clouds', but it'll always be a balancing act to get there with MFLB. Stick to basics, watch the heat, keep it dry and fine ground, keep your batteries charged (or use a PA) and most important don't rush the vapor. And don't forget to shake, shake, shake between hits.

To me it`s effect that matters. Even if i cannot see the vapor i can taste it, and a few minutes later i can tell for sure that it works. Also i think that what MF says about vapor is right. Visible vapor is wasted vapor. I don`t have a Vulcano and i know it`s a premium device that works very very well, that`s why it`s so famous but i think it`s also a matter of personal taste. Maybe you are or were a (cigarette-)smoker? I was, and yes the first weeks i used the LB i missed the clouds and the feeling that i was exhaling more than just air. Now, a year later i don`t care anymore. Sometimes i get some little clouds out of it "woohoo"
but i don`t even care, it works good without clouds.By the way, the people who already congratulated me with choosing an Orbiter, i have to disappoint you
i ordered a percolator-bong and a waterpipe adapter. I want to inhale all the vapor at once, and with an orbiter that does not work. Bong will arrive in a couple of days and i hope i made the right choice

Has anyone found a high quality grinder that can grind to a fine consistency. I was using a Hario MS-1 coffee grinder but the bud would stick to the wheel and it was a pain in the ass. It would grind to a powder consistency but was too much work to clean. Any suggestions?

I suggest (and sometimes still use) the other kind of coffee grinder, the kind that chops with spinning blades. Not much to foul. This is my favorite one:

As a fun bonus, the flat part of the window collects kief by static electricity (usually). Open it carefully and use a small brush to harvest it for special occasions if you want otherwise sweep the SS bowl out and vape on. It has four small knives, easy to clean if needed.
I normally grind a couple grams at a time then weigh out .12 to .13 gram lots and put them in small vials for easy use.

They have other colors, and others sell similar one Dram vials, but I like the amber ones...... The premeasured vials fit into the little four AA cell holders, I carry two charged batteries and two 'reloads' (in vials) and have 3 guaranteed trenches on tap.

Looks like the codes don't work for the mflb packages. I guess since the packages come with more the 120 price tag doesn't hurt so much, but the only other thing I even want is the finishing grinder
