But what if they started with a different shape, instead of a box how about a cylinder or a sphere, and then see what type of device they would arrive at?

Launch tube! You mean something like this?
Cinema: take jacket off, exhale into sleeve which dilutes and directs the vapor towards the floor.
You could really take this idea home: carry a 5-6 foot silicone whip with you, coiled up in your jacket pocket. Make sure it's clean so it doesn't stink. Maybe rig a bit of dryer sheet on the end if you like? Once the lights go down, uncoil it so that one end is down on the floor and the other in your hand.Cinema: take jacket off, exhale into sleeve which dilutes and directs the vapor towards the floor.

Hey all! Good night! Does anyone knows if it is ok to use the mflb without the battery push back ring? I personally don't like it very much. Cheers!
Thanks! That's exactly the point!Yes , I have removed mine permanently .
It makes it easier for battery contact and less strain
on my hands .
Those may work just fine, but the batteries from Magic Flight are much better. Don't let the 2250 mAh rating be the determining factor, they should last twice as long and run more consistently than any other Ni-Mh battery you will find. Magic Flight had these made just for the Launch Box and they are worth the extra cost, IMO.Oh, and by the way... Has anyone tried these batteries? (http://www.adorama.com/images/Large/bysonmaa4.jpg)
I'm thinkin about buying some of them... Cheers!
Wouldn't you wonder what all the little green oregano was doing in there however? It's great to have a window since you can see the vaporization process but it deducts a point on the discreet factor. I guess you could put some artsy sticker over the lid however effectively covering the window and making it look like a wooden box entirely.
What do you think? What are you using for cases?
Pax also heats the load continuously. And bigger oven. And higher maintenance. My mflb's heat my flowers just fine. For those considering the MFLB, I've gone thru a few. I much preferred my Pax 1 to the MFLB. Pax had the balls to heat the flower. None of the MFLBs held up. Even with the after-market batteries, chargers, even the 12V AC adapter.
The Pax 2 is even better.
The MFLB and Pax are very different beasts, in both price and function. While it may not come out on top portability-wise, the MFLB still provides instant heat and is great at conserving herb. And with the 'box, user technique plays a big part in how well it works. For those considering the MFLB, I've gone thru a few. I much preferred my Pax 1 to the MFLB. It just doesn't work well for long. In my experience with 3 units.
