Okay, then it must be only the wood. Maybe I draw too fast ...
I thought it was build to cool down the battery a bit with the cold inhaling air stream.
its all technique.
you're doing something thats not quite right...but you'll get there.
you'll learn from trial and error.
I keep saying we need to make a sticky of launch box.... "How to and pro tips of the LB"
it would have sped up the learning curve for me...I didn't get it quickly either.
I was doing a lot of things wrong.
most people IMO don't pick up the launch box and get a great vaping experience the 1st time.
and some people never get a great vaping experience from it and give up on it.
I've seen it many times.
but I promise you if you get your technique down, there will be no issues at all.
only excellent results.
EDIT: You've inspired me to start a sticky that needs to be here for new LB vaporists, and I wish was here when I 1st bought my launch box and couldn't get it to perform well.

**LAUNCH BOX TIPS & TRICKS OF THE PROS**---
"How to get the most out of your Magic Flight Launch Box"
By: New_World & OF (hopefully OF...need your help here buddy!)
(here is a rough start)
***THE GRIND****
-Use a very fine grind........you want dust like consistency. (I recommend coffee grinder or magic flight finishing grinder as a secondary grinder)
-Do not fill past the rails
*****DRAWING*****
-make sure to shake the box in between draws (I also use the brush to stir it in between draws)
-I don't hold down the battery the whole time.
-I pulse the battery to keep it from conbusting and keep the vapor consistent.
-This is just the technique I prefer.
****BATTERIES*******
****MAINTENANCE*****
-Carefully sweep out the LB after each session with the supplied brush (be careful not to damage your screen)
