I tend to err on the side of safety so i love that the lotus mitigates butane exhaust inhalation. I have a question about materials. The vapman site lists the wpa as made from stainless steel. Azzwood lists the wpa as being made of titanium.

Does a titanium lotus wpa exist, or has one ever existed?

Inhale lists the materials as stainless steel and olivewood on the kit page. i can’t find it right now but i thought a different page on the inhale listed aluminum as an ingredient in the lotus cap.

Can someone confirm for me the materials used in the lotus cap and wpa? Which of these materials are in the cold air and hot air paths? Are those colored disks around the heating plate aluminum? if so are there any concerns about heating aluminum indirectly and inhaling the fumes when air passes through the heat exchanger?

I am not looking for perfection here, i want to know what my tradeoffs are for this device.

My last question is on the availability of the fancy woods like purpleheart. Thats the one that is most appealing to me, and seems to be down to buying the parts separately. Should I expect that the PH is limited and wont come back and if i want one i should make it happen now?

yeah I saw that I could buy the cap and spa separately from VGoodiEZ at a total cost of $165. that's about the price of the kit but I don't really need the hook or case anyway. I do note that inhale sells the lotus stuff much cheaper than VGoodiEZ. I'm not sure how I feel about that :/

I believe there have been some adjustments made and we probably need to go back and look at some things but there are several factors that go into our prices. We do offer free shipping within the United States and always have to account for that. We also offer some discount codes that you might try?

In the end we are often going to be a bit higher than the manufacturer. This especially for items that are imported from overseas. Some customers don't want to deal with international shipping and transaction fees that go along with it. We try to make it a little easier in that respect.

@coolbreeze we actually have all of those caps in stock and are in the process of building some kits with them as well. I think there was some sort of issue on our site with bundling which made them not available for a while. Which explains why we still have them and nobody else! Lol

Anyone try using the blazer Firefox torch with the lotus or is it too powerful? I was looking for something that could hold a lot of butane for home use.

Right now my favorite torch has been the aomai. It works upside down pretty well and it's nice that it stays on without holding a button. Only thing that sucks is it doesn't hold much butane...

Hi @VGOODIEZ ! I have double checked my work and found an error 😳. The prices on VG and inhale are totally comparable. When I was adding the lotus to my cart on inhale it was auto applying a 20% holiday coupon, dropping the price to $120ish for the kit. Without the discount you are indeed priced almost identically. Kit ordered, thanks for fixing your website bug, but also thanks for having it in the first place so I can still get a ph lotus kit!

I think it's too powerful. I'd try a large Eagle, button's not as soft as the VM torch but it's otherwise perfect. Great with all kinds of vapes.

Fun thing is that my wife got offered this flower shape plate, not really knowing what to do with it. When I saw it, I said « I know what I am going to do do with it » :D
A Lotus in Flowers ! I haven’t really read into it but I am sure the Lotus as a plant has many deep signification to it, which connects it so much to this amazing, elegant and simple vaporizer. But so efficient, I just went through a bowl with dry flower, kief and hash, and it was a blast :clap: Even though it takes a little training, with the right flame length and distance, and the right inhale speed, this thing is just amazing:rockon:
