From what I see they only have Olive and Maple kits left, while you can still buy the Walnut cap individually. My take is, the Olive is very showy and gorgeous, an easy choice but one that you will also be able to make later, another time. The Maple ones are made of the OG wood--until the Olives, all Lotuses were maple. The orange is a little over the top but the great thing is, it goes way, way over the top if you have a blacklight. ; )
The Walnut looks like it's almost gone. With the black ring I feel like it's one of the best-looking caps they've made. I probably would go for the Walnut unless you like one of the others better. The orange is super cool in a UV setting, the Olive will probably always be available.

Everything but the Olive is a limited run, I believe. You can still get the cap alone here:

You'll also need the bowl/wpa and I'd recommend the j-hook as well, it's really a nice, small hook with a great shape. The Vapman/Honest torch is perfect for the Lotus, fwiw.

i believe that @VGOODIEZ will assemble kits from any caps in stock. there was a website bug around this before and as a result i was able to order a purpleheart kit once the bug was fixed. So if you want a walnut or purpleheart kit it may be possible and I imagine they will be around shortly to confirmEverything but the Olive is a limited run, I believe. I will say, anecdotally from myself and a few others around the web, some people have some issues with certain woods. I felt the padouk cap made me cough more than the olive and someone I talked with had some coughing and sensitivity with the amaranth. I bought the olive and padouk together and I only used the padouk a handful of times before switching fully over to the olive. This is not to dissuade you from any specific wood, just something to be aware of. Based on pure conjecture, I feel like the olive may be less of an issue vs other more exotic woods.
All that to say: I do really love my Lotus. I will probably eventually re-trial my padouk cap to see if I really was experiencing more cough with it, or maybe I'll just sell it off, not sure yet. But the olive Lotus has been a flavorful, ritualistic dream.

I miss my Lotus very much.
I did not think ahead... I planned to get another Lotus when my financial situation allowed it.
I loved the original stem (so easy to set down upright with the Lotus "blossom" attached.
I will still get another, and improvise as I have seen a number of you have done.
@Duba, @coolbreeze, @fanghorn and others have great bases for Lotus.
I do not like using water filtration at all.
A dry pipe of glass like @warren0728 has is perfect, but I am no longer to be trusted around glass.
I just assumed (wrongly) that when I was ready to pull the trigger, I would get this:
I will, once ready to buy another Lotus adapt as those I mentioned have done.

We still have some à la carte caps left that we were planning on selling that way but I'm sure we can work something out on a bundle if you guys email. Just let us know the details of what you're looking for and we will adjust our inventory to accommodate. wow i didn’t realize there was a padouk lotus! anyone have pics or know where i can pick one up? @VGOODIEZ do you have a padouk laying around somewhere? :-)
