Some people have asked for a larger size of bowl. Any other opinions?

I think the bowl is about the perfect size for the way I use it but I might still be in the "Honeymoon" phase.

Crazy idea but what about mounting a small electric coil (that gets red hot) on the top, would it generate enough heat to create vapor ? Oh yeah where would the power source be. Over-medicated random thoughts.

If you like to sip, it would be a good choice. Some people have had the original for years. If you are into high heat or finishing the bowl in one go I would get the new model.

The replaceable hot plate will fit every vapor cap from version 0 on up.

Thanks for the sale Max. We appreciate you looking after us loyal customers on this board with the holiday sale codes. I took advantage and ordered a replacement shorty for one I loaned to a friend and a couple hot plates and lighters. Lusted after the Vaporscope but couldn't justify any more glass when I use a alum stem most of the time.

Any chance of doing something like a three-pack of hotplates without screws or an allen wrench for those of us maintaining a fleet of Lotii and only need the hotplate?

Have you seen a situation where the lower, internal plates have warped enough to affect performance? One of my high-temp caps seems to randomly combust when it really shouldn't? Pretty sure it isn't technique and the hotplate itself is in reasonable shape. Just curious.

Ok. Fine. So I bought a Lotus. Hope I have better results with this butane vape than what I have had with the omnivap, M, hydromaxx & runt. I've found that the Supreme v3 is the only flame powered vape worth having but it's best for special occasions.

The VRod is my workhorse. My favored mobiles are the Firefly 2, Sai TAF & ye olde Mighty(#304) yet I've always wanted a dailydriverish butane vape. Never know when the electricity might go out. Ice storm, solar flare, anti-civilization dipshit, squirrel. My money's on the squirrel.

If I had to rely on just the Supreme to fuck combustion my tolerance would shoot up so much that I'd end up boofing distillate. I'd prefer to just vape with fire quickly, tastily and fast. The Lotus doesn't cost a lot and is worth a shot. I hope for the best.

It does have a stir to but this is not the high plate and does not fully come apart, though you can change out the heating plate. My cap is v1 but the plate is a later version but before the high heat became available... No ridges.

Hey, you might want to try a Elev8r too sometime.....can not beat it for quickness of use and taste. It can medicate pretty high if you want...or you can go easy with it too. But like you ...I am looking for a better butane experience with a more mellow hitter with high taste.

I sort of gave up on my vapcaps recently and hope the Lotus will fill that void to allow me to go fast and easy like old skool bowl hitting from a hand pipe.

Depends on the heat you want. I think the og one gets hotter faster so there is a better chance of combustion You can always just upgrade the plate if you wanted

I am not into "sucking in butane" vapes.....but also..that company seems to be copying other manufactures designs.

Ok...got it today......did 2 bowls.

1. I know I will like using it more than the vapcaps. It hits hard and direct but smoother than the vcaps. I can easily light it 2 or 3 times and get well medicated quickly....almost simulates sparking a bowl with flame. This is the purpose for which I wanted a vape like this. 5 mins or less to prep and quick use it...then go back and deal with a situation where others will have no idea I medicated.....well most of them...haaa

2. I need to read and ask questions.....like.....which of the 2 screens can i get to to take out and replace? EDIT: after taking the thing apart...easy to get both screens out. I had to do a full ISO clean on everything but the wood and o-rings. I them made screens of a lighter tighter weave.

3. My first thought after taking the first 2 draws........who makes a glass bowl/slide for this baby?

4. I will probably have to make one or have one custom made. I tested with a 14/18 adapter and had the screen right up to the top just 5mm below the top edge. Needs to go up into the Lotus heater more...but I could easily tell how much better it was even though it was not a strong hit.

I am looking forward to much testing this weekend!

I like the LOTUS bowl for my preference to vaping CANNABIS!
The VAPCAP is for MICRO dosing.
I guess it depend’s?

I think you pretty much summed it up to compare these two vapes.

I like others....always wanted a vapcap with a bigger bowl.......now I got one....haaaaa

But they are different in use and outcome for sure, both have their places for sure.

A glass bowl! I made one out of a misc 12mm stem with 14mm joint. stuffed a screen in it...and used some teflon and o-ring to make up the gap. (that area does not really get that hot). Taste was fuller and super smooth....but more importantly....not hot/harsh for me.

I find I have a hard time with metal bowls...either SS or Ti. It is hard on my throat....even the Lotus WPA.

Maybe even try a ceramic bowl. Make the exit hole on the bottom slightly larger and you can use gongs like arizers use on solo/airs. You can almost fit one of those in there now....within 1mm to big though so I could not use one...but it would be perfect if it fit. I almost want to drill out the exit hole in the wood and make some sort of collar to replace the metal one used now.

This would make this vape so much better.

For me....any metal bowl/oven gives me vapor that is harsh on my throat and lungs. I can do a SS screen in any glass bowl/oven though. By adding this arizer wpa.....it changes the vapor smoothness/harshness dramatically for me.

The D020-D works well with the dropdown. (i could go to the bigger D9 sidecar size can easily) And....I am addicted to this lighter......such a perfect design. Most comfortable torch I have ever used.

I USED to be a glass only snob. Frankly, it was quite necessary just from a flavor profile when combusting.

But Lotus threw that whole concept upside down. With the WPA or the Al stem, all I taste is the flavor of flower. It forced me to rethink my position on metal with vapes and I am SOOOO glad I did.

Today, I could not live without my Lotus nor my Omnivap. Metal Haters gonna Hate Hate Hate Hate Hate... they will come around.
