Yes, that looks like the same D020 as the one from DHgate (from the pictures anyway).

It wasn't my intention to highjack the thread... I asked a few questions about accessories I was purchasing for my Lotus... I've seen three page rants on lighters here... this is the exact post I want to be talking in.... Its Lotus users.... talking about the Lotus and everything involved with it.... I want to know what pairs best with it for my twenty plus years of combusting with bongs. And I had been told a few times that Dhgate and the d020 were the way to go for me with the Lotus. Sorry for any confusion as to my posting.....

This is the most dangerous vaporizer I've ever operated.

Not only is there an increased risk of burn caused by operator error, it also delivers medicine incredibly fast. I've been getting incredible output from 1/3 chamber loads.

This Lotus is dangerously potent - exactly what I'm looking for out of my daily driver.

You're right, and if you keep reading, you'll see there's also talk about making a new thread dedicated to lighters.

But the questions you're asking about DHgate belong in the thread covering all things DHgate - many of your questions are asked multiple times over on the glass bubbler's thread. I know the mods around here like us to stay on topic as much as possible.

I myself try to walk that line between is this related to the lotus or not. Yes, asking which glass pairs well with the D020 is acceptable. Asking payment information and alternative vendors for a certain item don't quite belong on this thread (I'd assume). Mods feel free to jump in here.

But the questions you're asking about DHgate belong in the thread covering all things DHgate - many of your questions are asked multiple times over on the glass bubbler's thread. I know the mods around here like us to stay on topic as much as possible.

Wow.... this seems aggressive... It all relates to my purchase of THE LOTUS.... I've read all 134 pages I know what's in here... I was looking for help. Not a passive aggresive reply telling me to bugger off in si many words..... But I guess you said it yourself.

I wasn't intentionally trying to come off as aggressive at all, I was inviting Stickstones to comment on if I'm mistaken (since he's active on this thread). My apologies, by all means, have at it until they say something, I was simply trying to offer an alternative thread for your questions about the D020 and Dhgate.

No worries! Ok so back on track here. I purchased the Lotus, WPA, Jhook some screen the little scoop thing and a back up plate... Besides some good Butane(and a bubblerlol). What else am I missing? From what I read a grinder isn't really necessary?

I've been using a pill bottle quarter combo grinder still waiting for my mf finishing grinder from massdrop

I've been using a folded business card as my scoop.

I went from owning zero lighters to 3 torches in 2 days, with another on the way.

the aluminum stem has a hole at the back right? (opposite from where you sip)...
Question is... Do you guys cover that hole with your finger at least partially>?

Also ... Is it possible to vape concentrates such as traditional hash? how?

I only vape hash. Works very well with a tiny bit well crumbled. Just enough to cover ths screen

I had one break internally at the push button previously. But it was after months of daily use, so I just bought another for $6.
I use the Honests 99% for my Lotus. I keep a couple on the counter and rotate them. That 90 degree angle one never felt quite right, just a backup.

I'm seriously thinking about adding this to my collection but I haven't used flame in a long time. Been chasing SOLO clouds for years. Any thoughts on the difference? Am I ready to add needing a lighter to my list of things to remember?

If you want thick, delicious hits on demand, without waiting for a heat up then yes you are.

The solo tastes superior to the short stem metal lotus not sure about the glass one.

It hits quicker and I love you can take it to the edge of combustion and get that full on effect which I certainly enjoy. You can with practice get small flavoursome hits.

Once you get a torch or 3 and some quality butane then the fun begins.

I can see folks who never ever want anything near combustion temps might not like it.

The lighter is great when it works mines given up again but anyway a backup is ideal even if it works well.

I didn't choose glass because I'm not to be trusted with glass when stoned

I get a feeling from what I've been reading, that when the Lotus first came out with the Aluminum stem, the overall response was "meh" - aside from the true vape connoisseurs who recognized it's brilliance. Once @Max Jitter released the WPA, the game changed completely. Sure the Lotus V2 introduced some design changes which increased the performance overall, but the WPA is what makes the Lotus such an amazing work of art. In fact, I first saw some video over on the cheap glass bubbler thread with someone using a lotus, and I HAD to figure out what it was. The WPA opens a variety of options. Some for portability, some to show off how much vapor the Lotus can produce. I love having this option (I like to customize).

Someone else said it best (sorry - just finished a long session, too lazy to quote whoever said it) - electronic temp controlled vapes are like automatic cars, the Lotus is a manual. The hits you get are determined by how you heat it with a torch - the torch and control over the flame are what determine the hit you get.

While there are other butane powered vapes, most of them seem to suffer from butane gas mixing with the air coming into the vape. The Lotus avoids this by placing the air intake on the bottom, hence some people referring to it as a "Clean Air" vape.

As they all say, there is no 'perfect' vape. But if you want an extremely reliable vape (assuming an infinite supply of torch lighters! lol) that runs on butane, this is it. You'll probably never need another butane vape after the Lotus

I kinda wish I had found the Lotus BEFORE buying the DV Ascent. I could have bought ALL accessories for the Lotus and then some spares for the price I paid for that Ascent. Maybe I'll sell it to a friend and buy more glass for my Lotus instead! lol
