Nice review GhostVapor. I've also wondered why Alan doesn't get more fanfare. He makes a really solid vape and has great customer service. I've also got the TT and love it. I've been saving my pennies for a HI. I'm almost there....

I have a feeling Alan is about to get a lot more fan fare with this product and all the amazing tube variations that he offers. It make his log vapes very versatile and the fact that his tubes can be used on various other log style vapes means he could be in high demand for his toasty tubes alone!
He seems to have plenty of business now without even having a HI website, I bet once that is up and running it will be full steam ahead in ToastyLand!!

what roasting tube combos will you be offering? I know you have the glass bowl with metal tip, glass with silicone tip, all silicone tube, and the one like the purple days
are these all of them? I totally want to buy a few of each as they all seem to have their own strengths (e.g. efficiency) and weaknesses. I'm gonna end up paying just as much for all the tubes as the unit hahahaha

I'm not sure how many of the 25 or more tube combinations I will be offering. They each a strength and a weakness. It will probably depend upon demand and popularity. I will try to get a list together with some sort of organization. I'm even get confused since there are so many. I should be pretty much done with combination/variations now.

Sooooo my Blue Mahoe HI core Top arrived today 
Left the Maple Top in the states when i left, 3 months ago. Here are my reactions in progressively more narrative format.
she arrived with 2 wood tubes and one glass, 2 silicon tip 1 glass tip. The wood/glass is my favorite because it looks extremely classy
i will have some pictures in a few minutes but first up God Damn. Sorry for the blasphemy but i had forgotten how seriously brilliant the Top was, and the HI design takes it to the next level. I just moved to europe, and I didn't have any herb the first month, crappy herb the second, and a month ago I got lined up with a proper local, selling proper local that meets my medical standards. So i've mostly been smoking spliffs, euro style-- heavy on the baccy. And they do the trick-- But 1/3 the sprinkle i might put in a conservative pinner just got sucked in to my glass turbo tube, and i've taken two puffs-- I am ripped.
Taste, 10/10. The new wide diameter turbo tubes are brilliant. lots of room for cool air and convection. tube is short enough to preserve heat and complexities of the vapour.
efficacy, 10/10. the airpath is clean, as most of the thing just screws together, metal on wood. All of the green turns brown.
The design is simple but perfect. I've owned half a dozen vapes over the years and Tops are the only ones that have got me off the Spliffs. I mean, I love rolling. My friends know that I roll perfects spliffs. That's what I do. But now that I have a Top again I dont give a fuck.
just took a third rip. Am thinking about the quantity of herb I was burning away with those spliffs. about how the HiTop has just doubled the time needed between visits to my local friend, a realization which just paid for the top's shipping and accessories in about a week.
Took a fourth rip, after realizing that I didn't pull the tube out of the top after hit nmber 3. So i didn't get much. But without that, a testimony to the Top, i'd have had 5 good hits, I reckon. And I just realized that the turbo tubes fit perfectly on the pegs of the base. so you dont have to worry about spilling them.
Glass bowl is like a tiny trophy case, housing your conquered herb in its cylindrical austerity. Kind of looks like a tiny Olymic torch designed in the netherlands. Herb is perfectly browned. nothing left
pictures will wait... shooting in raw and i gotta get everything right or the depth of the mahoe just wont come out. This is some truly beautiful wood.

Glad it arrived safely to you Orestes. I can't believe how fast the shipping was once I finally got it sent (must have been the box). It took forever to dry the wood. It must have spent an entire hour in the microwave one minute at a time. The mahoe is very soft wood and does not hold threads for the heating element very well. Probably the last one I will make. The color and depth of the wood is just amazing though. I was able to make the tubes from the same piece of wood from which the top was made. The glass on the wood turbo tube is the same as for the 2-piece all glass turbo tube. So nice to watch the roasting progress.
Postage is getting outrageous these days. $5.35 for a small flat rate box that is only 1-1/2" tall. Can't get much into it. A HI will fit, but then there is no padding. Forget about putting a Toasty Top into one of them. Unless, you modify it a bit like I did.
Two cuts, two folds, and some packing tape. You have now doubled the height of the box. I can fit three 3" Tops into a small flat rate box now. I asked the USPS about it and they said as long as it is the same box, it can be re-shaped and still ship for the same price of $5.35. It just takes a little bit of time. My next priority box option is $11.35 so I can save $6 per box on shipping. Take that USPS. Sometimes you just have to work the system. I'm sure lots of people could benefit from this trick.

Just got back from the mailbox, Two new stems! Got a regular sized glass on silicon turbo tube and one of the new all glass turbo's. I gotta say Alan, the all glass turbo fits my bong so perfectly its like you had the bong in front of you matching it to be just right, kinda freaky Only used it a couple times so far, getting awesome flavor! Great news GhostVapor. That was very fast shipping. It was sent first class on Wednesday afternoon. Glad you are enjoying the glass tube. I did check it in my glassware before sending it out. Just have to get my lathe set right and the angle will always be perfect. Your glass /silicone turbo tube will also work in your bong.

Sorry about that. I must stop hoarding HI's and get them out there. Will see if I can get some pics this weekend.

I make a tube that will work with just about anything out there. Even Iolite and MFLB.
