Did anyone read the top Herbalizer Review linked right at the top of their website? Not sure why they would link THAT review?

This is just a snippet from it:

There's a lot to like about the Herbalizer. For one, it's innocuous, even when in use. Unlike the Volcano, which can get trash-compactor loud, the Herbalizer is whisper quiet even on the highest fan setting. Its heating element evenly and smoothly toasts a bowl without the need for stirring and without burned spots. I also like that you can use it to vape concentrates and oils as well (just set them on the spare aromatherapy disk and set it in the crucible.)

Even the aromatherapy function—which is usually just employed in tabletop vapes as a cheap means of adding legitimacy to an otherwise purpose-built stoning machine—works really well. It creates a pleasantly diffuse scent that fills the room without being overpowering and certainly a better option than lighting a stick of Nag Champa after your session.

There's also a lot not to like about the Herbalizer. The upper lid and storage section are flimsy. They don't close smoothly, stay shut, or even really fit together all that well. Still, these are superfluous details, the core functionality of the device is solid.

Should You Buy It?
$730? Hahahaha—oh wait, you're serious. Vocanoes run from about $400 for the "classic" analog model up to $620 for the digital version. This is $110 more. To start. Granted, it can and fill a bag in less time than it takes for the Volcano to preheat and makes your room really fucking fantastic, but $730. That's a stupid amount money by any standard.

Overall, its a great design with solid functionality but in desperate need of some polish. Save your cash for now and wait for the next iteration to be released. Check one out for yourself at Hebalizer.com.

Pretty sure a FC member could write a way better review for your webpage Herbalizer!

all good in the hood.
Okay, so I'm a dumb ass! It turns out that my lack of good vapor flow was due to dirty screens. Last night I replaced all screens, soaked the oven and metal mouthpiece in ISO for a few minutes and replaced the whip with a new one. Now the vapor is thick as ever right from the get go! No pre heat routine needed. The weird thing is that it's difficult to tell how dirty the screens are just by looking at them.

So, for those of you who experience diminished vapor production; the first course of action is to clean or replace the screens. Huge fucking clouds with Herbie at 420F last night!
hate to say told ya so, but I did :) I am just kidding. I did the exact same thing. :0 glad you figured it out!

hmmm. then this site went down. coincidence?

There is an alternative option.
not sure what that could be. Someone is clearly angry and messing with their site. I would say that is very uncool.

I hope they get it fixed soon. :(

I don't understand the shit volcano gets for heat up time, seriously, it's 5 minutes, if you can't turn on your vape 5 minutes before use, then you must like waiting for lights to shut off. Never mind other vapes get a pass on a 15-20 heat soak before use. The herbalizer, at least mine anyway, take 1:30 to fill a bag, with lovely Vapor leaking out of a bag that doesn't stay on the chamber tightly, degrades way to fast, 2 weeks compared to a month plus with volcano bags. That could be due to my preference for how I want my bag experience to be. 30 secs to fill a bag, in my experience, thicker Vapor filled bags, could be due to half my vapor leaking out of the herbie bags, I went thru 16 bags before I gave up. The whip is awesome, great hits, no complaints, just not my preferred method. And the noise, seriously, so the bag crinkles a bit loud? Turn up the volume. There's a reason why only 54 pages for the Volcano, it's not because it's shit, it's because it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It doesn't require pages of techniques to get the most out of it. Vape technology seems to be the only one that doesn't get cheaper over time. My 5+ year classic is out , just upgraded to the digit thru Massdrop, herbie has been shelved for at least 2 months now.

Phew! Thank goodness for the FB page; they were hacked. I was worried because I was trying to look up replacement bags and thought they had disappeared from existence. It is an excellent product in my experience of about 3 months of use.

Wow, first two Herbies i've ever seen in the Classifieds.....sadly the warranty isn't transferable. This isn't surprising as most manufacturers have this policy, but definitely makes me apprehensive since if I spend $900cdn and don't like it and want to list it, i'm gonna take a massive hit.

if you buy a roll of volcano bag material you can make your own bags using the herbies mouth piece. it's awesome cause you can size the bag to fit your needs. i made mine about 2x as big as the standard one herbie gives you.

For medical users the instant heat up time can be a godsend. Five minutes is not bad at all, but expectations can quickly change after using an instant heat up device for a while. It's the biggest reason I keep reaching for it. The 20 minute heat soak is one of my biggest pet peeves with some of my other vapes.

As a whip user I don't think this unit needs any technique. But I see your point with bag use given your documented frustrations. I think the reason the Volcano thread is so short is because it already had and still has a great word of mouth reputation. People don't feel the need to make sure the Volcano is a good unit before they buy it, they just need to swallow the price.

Is there any special technique to do that? Maybe you could post some DIY pics.
Did your Herbie bags leak vapor/ do thees Volcano material bags leak?
Thanks for the tip

Thanks for that bag changing method Been Vapin I will bookmark that for later use! On that note does anyone have a link to the same bag material herbalizer uses on their bags. The volcano are so damn noisy I've grown accustomed to Herbie bags.

Really starting to think something's up with my Herbie. I got some ssv tubing from VIto to try and connect Herbie through water. Very wispy clouds was my result. Decided to brush the solo out and got large clouds right away. I'm racking my brain trying to think of what I'm not doing right. Everything is sealed as it should be. The only thing I can think of is the screens which I will be cleaning tonight and trying to get those thick clouds I so desire. The Herbie is amazing and satisfies my every want except for huge clouds through glass.

Definitely do that. When I'm in your position a good thorough cleaning usually leaves me shocked at the vapor afterwards.

It's like the first day all over again.

Did you ever have any issues getting clouds when using water/glass?

Forgot the power cord to Herbie at my girlfriends place. My printer came to the rescue !! :D

CLEAN SCREENS = MASSIVE CLOUDS... that is the math my friend. If you've been following the thread you are aware that I was having problems with vapor production, but after screen replacement I get huge clouds on demand right from the first hit!! Believe me, even if your screens don't look clogged with the naked eye, clean or replace anyway as it often makes a world of difference. For me, it was a gradual decline in vapor production and I had no idea that just changing screens would solve the entire problem, but it did.

The Herbalizer Rocks! The best vaporizer I've ever owned. Now, clean your screens tonight and Vape like a fucking Boss!!!

Took the hint and changed screens. I got a huge hit of tasty herbalizer vapor. Woooooooow. Less than 6 seconds and it's there for me 24/7 every day of the week. Looking over my posts in this thread it looks as if I'm some sort of fanboy pumping up the herbalizer name. This is not the case let me assure you. There's just nothing negative worth mentioning except maybe the plastic lid IMO.if there ever was a vaporize purchase that satisfied the amount spent it is the herbalizer HERBIE SUPPORTER FOR LIFE

I replaced the screens on my Herbalizer... Didn't have any flowers except for the Mint mix from Herbalizer- Gave it a run- my first draws was the most clouds I've seen..... I think my last batch of flowers quality was bad combined with not clen screens might have given me the wispy vapors... I have to get my hands on better flowers whenever I can and to test it out again....

I did notice a bit better when dealing with concentrates..

I am wondering if the screens on the Herbie is too fine? maybe less fine of a screen will allow more airflow and less chances of getting the screens clogged?

I also was looking at the bowl.... Right now the bowl on Herbie reminds me of the Easy Valve of Volcano- I personally preferred the Solid Valve so I was wondering if Herbalizer came out with a solid valve style of the bowl- I think that would increase the cloud production by adding more conduction by compressing the bowl? Would anyone else have any interest in a solid valve style bowl?

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. The only problem is if you use too course of a screen you may get some material sucked through the top screen. Perhaps one size up from the current very fine screens would allow for more airflow while at the same time still prevent any material being sucked through the top screen.

Yeah- Volcano had 2 sets of screens- fine/standard and i always opted for the standard one...

Highly suggest using ssv tubing instead of the stock whip if your wanting large clouds. I swear it's twice as much vapor as I got with the standard whip.
@grokit I want to thank you for what your doing selling those vapes in support of a good cause. I am a huge animal lover and love to see people rise up in support of our furry friends :)
Shout out to @VaporsVaporizer for starting this great cause you rock
