The Herbalizer

Hey all!

Just wanted to share that my molds are finished and I am now selling the Herbalizer 18mm HT adapter on my Etsy store! Here's a link for those lurkers who can't see my signature - https://www.etsy.com/listing/210827170/herbalizer-vaporizer-waterpipe-adapter

(The pictures show a rough finish, these are older pictures. I'm going to grab a freshly cast one and get some nice pictures of the glossy finish)

Thanks to everyone who made this accessory a reality. Since I'm not lucky enough to own an herbie yet, I would never have made this part without the multiple requests, and kindness of a fellow FC member who was willing to lend me a spare bowl for SEVERAL months while we worked on Ceramic prototypes
hi... this water tool fit whit you mold? =) Ty http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vaporblunt-...018?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c3c4e2302

:leaf:Herbalizer DIY water tool attachment:leaf:

Hey guys, here with a quick simple DIY 14mm water tool attachment for the Herbalizer!:)

Super simple.

Get a 14mm WT and a W9 tech old school oil cartridge silicone mouth piece, it's tapered so it holds the WT very snug.

Attach silicone mouthpiece to Herbie bowl chamber, you can get it real nice and tight on there.

Attach water tool.

Now go blow some delicious clouds!

Enjoi my friends! It works awesome!

Even if they are, the 5 year warranty should still be honored by the people that have the LE models.
Well while I wait for January to come around and reading the "teasing" posts of how great the herbie is I am starting to wonder about there service record of the Herbie company. I sent a email to Sheila`s address maybe six times with no answer. I then sent a email to admin or whatever where I got a robot reply
"Your request (2721) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff".
Been over 24hours and wont get a reply now till after the weekend. Tell me if I am wrong but in my book this is CRAP service and I wonder if they would even be around if I had problems with the unit IF I was able to buy one of the export models in the first place and IF they will have a export model by January as they have mentioned.
My email was basically asking IF they were still on track with the January release and IF they were going to make any modifications (eg: larger inner dia whip, some WT adapters, etc ) for the next model.
Not only is there a lot of IF`s but the questions on the 5 year warranty have been thrown into the ring or is it only 3 years for non LE models?. Sounds like a good product with a not so good service record like I say correct me if I am wrong and no doubt there are some that are happy with them. The longer my questions go unanswered no matter how simple, is a big concern for me.

The Herbie is amazing. I have had nothing but great results with it. It has replaced my volcano as my desktop.

I absolutely love the volcano, but the instant heat up, whip or balloon, WPA, usage with or without the fan and instant temperature changes make the herbalizer a much improved version of the volcano IMO.

It is also very small and quiet. I also used the aroma therapy with the de-funk it comes with and it works
great!

So far it is an excellent device. I can't tell you about warranty issues as I haven't had mine long enough to break, but it seems very reliable IMO.

Probably, but they don't answer, and in my experience usually don't return messages. I gave up a while ago waiting for a promised returned call to address a specific issue. My customer service experience has been the same as @jivebuggered, less than stellar.

I don't hear many complaints about their service. I consider it to be one of my most dependable units. The few complaints I have heard have been recent, during the website fiasco and the related email problems. I wasn't getting as quick of a response as normal either, but they seem to be almost up to speed now.

How dependable it is remains to be seen in time, but the bulb only lasting a couple of years does concern me a bit, depending on how much it will cost. Furthermore, those comments from @Engineer regarding warranty (and using it kinda asap) should ring at least somewhat of an alarm bell. It would be kinda awesome if Herbalizer would show some presence on her again, I kinda miss Josh's Dad LOL

Herbalizer has provided me with world class customer service multiple times now. Many emails with concerns answered by Carrie within 15 minutes. Prepaid shipping labels. Next day aired a new bottom bowl with almost no questions asked.

Out of the "big 3" vaporizers Herbalizer is the only one working! Sublimator dead. EVO dead. That says something right there. Long live Herbie!!!!!!!! (shout out to Solo too lol)!!!!!!

I am very interested about the 5 year warranty issue. I did notice some issues with the new website, so lets just hope its an error. A week or two ago they accidentally posted wholesale price list on the sitemap. Whoops!

I have a question for you guys and girls regarding the LE warranty.

Has anyone ever seen a non "limited edition" herbalizer?

I'm thinking it's more of a marketing strategy calling it a "limited edition" so you will hurry up and buy it so you get a better warranty.

I have never seen a "normal" edition of the herbalizer. If anyone has one I would love to see it!

Just my :2c:.

That being said.... I LOVE MY HERBIE!!!

I think what they mean is that future Herbies will not be LE, and not have the extra warranty or as many slogans on power up?

That would be nice! There's only a few slogans I like!

"Vape like a boss" rarely comes up on mine and that's the slogan on the box!

I wish you could pick and choose your slogans.

Being a "limited edition" that would be a cool feature IMO!

Vape Dr.,
Yeah, the start up messages, 5 year quality guarantee, and exclusive paint job were the three main "limited edition" features as far as I remember. No idea when they'll stop selling the LE in favor of "regular" units. It's been nearly a year at this point, so how limited is it really?

Maybe I'll shoot them an e-mail. They've been very responsive to me in the past, but I haven't been in contact with them since before Josh left.

Maybe that's why they aren't advertising the 5 year guarantee now? Perhaps LE days are over, and it will just be the 2 year standard...who knows.

I could do without the French startup slogans! lol I'm so ignorant hahah.

I'm not worried about the bulb in this thing at all. It was the most strenuously tested part of the vape. Out of the gate this thing has had fewer failures than any other new vape company launch I've seen and with a better warranty as well...even if it's only two years from here on out.

And I wouldn't put any more stock in what Josh says than what Herbalizer says. Either side is just as capable of pushing an agenda as the other and we don't know shit.

Good post Sticks. I hope you're right, the tune might change when we find out how much it costs to replace the bulb, but you're right....it's pretty damn rock solid so far, but it's still electronics, and this thread overall is super quiet for a vape so good and popular on FC, but much of that has to do with not too many owners given its high price. I look forward to the future with Herbalizer, and Josh's endevours...it's such a good time to be alive! For the future Herbie, I would wish for less plastic. After putting the Herbie away for weeks, and firing it back up again, I couldn't but help notice the same odour I did when I first bought it, which put me off a bit. I wish the member who bought it from me would post on his experience with it, I haven't heard boo (but he only joined to buy it I think). I also can't believe there are STILL 2 Herbie's alive in the Classifieds....especially one for only $400, and nobody is biting?
