Hey all I'm having a little problem with my Hammer and need Help. Last month i broke down and bought six cans of Newport butane and now have the hardest fucking time filling my hammer, WTF I've used vector, ronson and neon with ease but the Newport just doesn't seem to want to leave the can and be used in my vape. I've purged and purged the fuel tank, done everything i can think of that would help lighters, torches or any iolite product work (the newport fills my WISPR in a second or two) but still i can't fill the hammer.

The tank fills enough to do one stem, Maybe. What's up ?

a $3 buck can of ronson works but newport won't. I'm lost and confused.

I've never used Newport before so this might be a stupid thing to ask. Is the tip bigger or smaller then your other brands?

@$unnyblaq I've only had luck with the white or purple tips as i get nothing with the regular tip but it's very odd that i can't even get the bit of 'leakage or overspray' or what ever ya call it when your wasting butane and not filling the chamber.

@smokeydabear the outer diameter on the newport can is a hair smaller then the ronson but the inner looks about the same. I'll keep using it even how it is since where i use it the can is only a few feet away. I'm going to do a couple more fills and purges since it's filling a little it's gotta be air i would guess since the cans do work on the wispr.

yes the purple tip works best for me. I use the purple tips if I'm going to fill my lighter and sometimes my hammer but the regular tip should work. Sometimes when I'm filling my hammer it does not do the "leakage or overspray" so I don't go by that to tell if it's filled anymore. sorry to hear you're having trouble hope it works out for you.

Wanted to give a quick review on the prototype gasket that @The Hammer sent out which was really awesome thanks a lot guys.
The black gasket fits really nice into place gives a nice clean look. It completely solved my only minor complaint with the hammer which was the loss air path. I really like this little piece I think its a great improvement. As far as stopping any butane I wasn't getting any butane taste before so I didn’t notice any difference. I put the other white silicone onto the stem and tried it in my PNWT and it fit nice and snug. I don’t have any other glass to use it out of so I didn't get to try it but it did fit well. Would silicone on glass be considered a song..? Over all I think the gasket helps a lot with the making the air path sturdy making it easier putting the stem into place. Once I get the d020 that I always look at I’m sure the 14mm song will get more radio play.

I had similar problem with you as I had order 6 Newport butane from ebay for the hammer, and thought they were not working at first.
I thought the gas wasn't filling properly. So I tried again pressing the butane can little harder, and it filled up my Hammer very well.
But according to what you said, you can fill up with other butane, but not only Newport?
Than I think the Newport you bought must be faulty one. Try other Newport if you have any more :)

@vaporlee actually i think you hit on the main problem i was having. I have to use a lot more downward force filling the Hammer with the Newport then it takes to fill a lighter or the wispr with the same can. It's just a different feel when filling for some reason then other brands I've used but I do believe my only problem was really just not using enough muscle power. :doh: now I feel just a little stupid but at least my hammer is fueled up and ready.

You'll love it imho i feel this is one of the better vapes available. I still use it daily with no problems whatsoever it's just good ol reliable. Great taste huge clouds amazing efficiency cant be beat. I rate this as high as my solo for me it's just that great. I just ordered a lotus so I don't know if its better than that, but I can say it one of my favorite vape purchases no regrets. Enjoy your new hammer and have some good ol 'tane and herbs handy:tup::leaf:

I'd really like a flame lock. Is there not some material we can put in the lanyard hole that goes up and can be slid from under the lip of the button and over when the button is pressed? Also a nice bag dock would be nice if the flame lock could be made, time to start treating the Hammer like a desktop its always been.

I got the "thin walled silicon" from Underdog vapes to act as durable stems.

The silicon tube fits in all 3 of my 14mm downstems. I wouldn't call it airtight, but they were pretty great seals.

Are there custom glass stems that are screenless? I thought all of them had screens. The only screenless one I saw on there was a GonG with a glass screen. Also, REALLY interested in the prototype gasket that holds everything in place, @Hammer Vaporizer

They make stems that are screenless check some out you'll see which is why i love my hammer to death they do alot :tup:
