I use the VAP2 every night. I usually just pack one long pellet and get 4 really tasty hits followed by another 3-4 spent hits. I preheat for ten minutes a 2 pm and then drop down to 12 for the first 5-6 hits and bump back up to 2pm for the last couple. My load is definitely dark brown when finished. What I have noticed is the herb that is closest to the bottum sometimes isn't as dark. I know the question wasn't aimed for me, but i use this vape every night and love its efficiency and taste

So i finally got it down and wow this thing can perform. The hammer worked beyond my expectation i am in love. I cant believe this vape isn't talked about more its amazing. I already broke a stem i couldn't beilve it now im down to one 
. So i need to be way more careful with the next pair. My stems came with tiny silver screens that fit perfectly without shaping which i loved. But on there website i see some brass or copper lookng screens that have to be shaped and don't seem to fit. I hope it comes like the lock on stems i just got because the silver screens are fit and snug. Looks like im hooked and will be buying more glass from these guys. Good look to all those trying to win the competition hammer has going on its almost over.

We have recently had reports from users in Denver that the Hammer was working well there. It does run a little cooler at higher elevations due to the decrease in oxygen, so may require a few seconds longer to heat up fully.
We have yet to get any solid feedback from users about the Hammers performance at higher elevations (7000 ft +) in CO, but it should be ok based on our tests.

So after 4 days of using as my daily driver my last stem broke. These things break super easy its kinda of annoying. I was just getting the hang when i twist it off and it cracked im so disappointed. I just bought this and now cant use it im pretty tight on cash right now. So hopefully the sale includes the lock on stems because even 10$ is a lot after i just dropped 77$. If not ill will be hammerless for awhile :'(. This unit rocks i love it but now i must wait to use again.

You should check out some thin silicone from Underdog. Also formed screens.

I use the stem case from the simple glass stems and have it cut to about 3 inches long for my two inch silicone shorties, I also have my cork in the white cap about halfway as I stash extra bowls behind it. I do have to use the cork in the cap to hold the silicone when it goes in the tube otherwise it gets stuck because the tube gets narrower further down.

anybody use this butane...http://www.newportbutane.com/ I was at my LHS yesterday and the guy highly recommended. no odor, burns cleaner and hotter...I bought some...purged my hammer real good, filled it up and let it settle. I will admit, my hammer seemed to burn hotter, I had it on its lowest setting and I got some amazing FULL FLAVOR hits. I was enjoying it..raised the temp another notch and got some even bigger rips. I am loving this butane it seems to have made my hammer more enjoyable.

Yes can we im here dying to buy some stems. I just used my solo stem worked but not great.So can i expect that sale at midnight?
Butane definitely makes a deference because i had colibri in my hammer burned good. I just but ronson just to try it, it works but i feel colibri was better.
I removed all the little screws on my Hammer to take a look inside the unit. Before I screw the device back together, I just want to make sure that all the internal parts are correctly in place. Can someone please post a picture of what the Hammer looks like on the inside?

I just got back from a little trip so for the past week The Hammer has been my daily driver and it's really hard to find any flaws to this little vape. I know the torch sound can be a bit loud at full power and the butane might smell a little, but this can be easily overlooked when I no longer have to worry about my batteries being charged. Besides I think you have to accept the sound and smell of butane when you decide to buy a butane powered vaporizer.
I did make one small change, I took a couple of my extra gong screens and cut them down so they fit in the stems. With the finer screen I get very little herb particles stuck to the sides of the stem. This is good because I have now made it a habit to scrape the oil from the stems and put it in my little "Atmos" pen to get a nice oil hit.
I really seem to have my technique down now so the clouds I get are ridiculous. I also found the learning curve with The Hammer is rather small. Almost everyone who tried it were able to pull nice clouds with a little guidance, if anyone had real problems I was able to just hold it for them while they took there hit.
I also found myself warning my friends to be careful because The Hammer could hurt them. I don't think they understood what I meant until they tried it and almost coughed up a lung. But after the coughing stopped the next question was always the same, "Where can I get one and how much?"

@$unnyblaq I was happy to read you like The Hammer as much as I do but I was sad to hear you broke your stems. When I ordered my Hammer I also ordered extra stems. I can't let a fellow "Hammer Brother" suffer knowing I have more stems just sitting in my garage. . I was wondering where you were haven't heard from you in a bit. I thought maybe you were over the hammer but glad to see you love it too. Me and you both have been putting our hammers through its paces i use mine daily. I hate waiting for my vapes to heat up but with the hammer its almost instant gratification. Since i will have to wait for my stems i guess ill use the trusty mflb till i can get back on my Thor. Im so excited to use it again i woke up to this so its a great morning already thnx again vapehunter you are the MAN!!!!
