If it does all it says it does, and how buzz swears to it, having one is just going to make life easier. All of the other on demand units seem either bulky or finicky. This just seems so convenient quick efficient and stealth. I have a solo and a pax and constantly there are times when I just want a few hits and be done with it, rather than have 5-15 minute sessions. The firefly and mflb are the only other on demand units I know of and the firefly is bulky looking and read it's battery is not good, and the mflb looks like a pain in the ass to use.

The mflb isn't that bad, it deff is an on demand hitter and gets tò me a lot quicker than my solo does. So i do miss those mflb quick sessions.

The solo to me seems more like a pass around session laid back chillin type vape. The GH will deff be my new daily driver. The solo will have to take a back seat once she comes in. Also a backup if my hopper dies and if my solo dies i have my mflb backup :D

Agreed, except other on demand units include Elevape SV, Thermovape T1/Evo/Cera, Daisy/Lily, Lotus, Vapman, Hammer, Firewood I think too... More learning curve and no precise temp control like the Hopper though, plus Hoppers got more stealth and no stirring too

The FF looks bulky, but isn't, really. And yes the old batteries were awful (one gen of them, anyway) but the new ones are excellent, and last twice as long.

The FF is about as "on demand" as you can get in a portable. Plus, it actually exists. (There's nothing quite like the feeling of knowing "year one" is way behind you when you own a V.1 portable.)

Was almost going to get the FF but price was too high, taking my chances with V1 at pre-production pricing

It is pricey. The GH, assuming it's released as advertised, is pretty freaking cheap. I personally feel the FF is worth the price (part of what you pay for is the service) but I can understand balking at the cost.

This for sure, especially for a unit that has had troubles. My friend got one and I was shocked at how heavy it is, glad I passed.

They've had the usual spate of V1 problems, but not worse than most (a 1% ish failure rate). Don't be shocked when the GH has just as many problems (like every other V1 port, nature of the beast unfortunately). As for heavy, that door swings both ways...it's built like a tank and can take some punishment.

I guess it all depends on what you are looking for. I found the FF too heavy, an odd shape for a portable and way too expensive. But again, it is all about priorities, for me taste was not number one for a portable.

High since 1968
I got the Firefly to hold me over and definitely prefer it to the MFLB which I agree was a PITA. Have the new FF batteries and they have outperformed my expectations. Here are some things I think/hope the GH will improve upon over the FF:
- Not have to wait till the 2nd hit to get a respectable cloud
- No stirring (can't wait to not have to stir!!! :))
- Ability to use while charging
- Battery not a pain to remove
- Stealth
- Less weight & bulk
- I like pens

EDIT: And precise temp control!! Thanks for the reminder @Shit Snacks
