Im not with you, over here min. payment for adaptor is £8 about $12 (is there anyway of fixing these) now the attached non removable 1 is soldered in. anyway we are in portable grasshooper so im saying no more.

Also the bit that makes in go on and off is the bit thats soldered in/coming loose.

Your call. Like I said, the CCTV guys (you must have them?) use them (and to a lesser degree the 'other sex' version) in high volumes. For many years I lived on 4 males and 2 females a friendly installer handed me when I asked where he got them. I can still recall him saying 'I get them from the boss, he's got lots' as he pulled them out of his tool belt and handed them over with a smile. I'd swap them between projects until I looked into buying more (from a CCTV and other security stuff supplier). Today you can buy them from China for the proverbial song:

In the hay-day of PD lots of guys used them to repair their cables. Several of the dealers here sold them for a few dollars each, for all I know still do. I quietly mailed several to domestic Forum Members. The repair works and works well.

Yes, you loose an inch or two each time you cut the cable back and reattach one but it's a simple, cheap, effective, proven repair job that needs only very common tools and very little skill. No soldering irons or anything hot. If you have wire strippers you can even avoid using your penknife.......

breathe, @OF, breathe ... if the claims are true, it must be possible to boil a gallon of water with a match ... unless they have a nuclear fire somewhere and use quantum entanglement to vape the herb sitting in the device. Yeah, that's worth a $100, for sure. is it too late to sign up?

That's it! Combining Microsoft's Cloud technology with Startrek's transporter technology........this guy only has to transport the herb out and standby for the vapor to be transported back! Therefore it doesn't need a lot of power to produce the vapor and doesn't suffer heat build up since the vapor comes back cooled.......

Brilliant. Flat out brilliant.

This gets better and better.......so you hack into other accounts and hijack their vapor and redirect it to you? Cool. That should cut herb costs big time. I want to be first to hack Willie Nelson's GH.

I wonder if PayPal's warranty covers that?

I can see 'skimmers' working Dispensaries. Then selling the code on Craig's List......

Building and designing a vape seems to always take a year or two longer then any newb company believes it will. Most upstarts are truly naive when it comes to the time frame necessary to see any product from Idea to production. Since this is zenhoppers first product another 6 months to a year before these are in users hands would not be that unrealistic or surprising. Having worked for others doing design engineering doesn't really prepare you for the ins and outs of going through the whole actual Manufacturing process.

It has now surpassed the original release date I gave it, which was pretty ample. I would not be suprised at all if they went ahead and delayed it until the new year or possibly even spring time. I really hope the best for this company but I wont be waiting on one, Ill just buy it when its finally released. Like OF said though Im having a VERY hard time wrapping my head around battery/temp/battery life issue. Very curious to see how many "bowls" this can do on one charge and how many "hits" per "bowl" we will see.

For something that was intended to be released about 6 months ago, if I remember correctly? They have very little info to give us. Im also interested in MORE videos, not just the 2 or 3 they posted MONTHS ago. Show us updates. Show us something besides tables being set up.....

So what's the alternative. I've been waiting for this thing but it's not appearing to be out anytime soon. Should I get a Firefly? An Indica? Is Solo still the best bet? There doesn't seem to be very many good options to pick from.
