Yeah, that seems to be implied in the message. Its not surprising, I'd just think that they would be better off setting a more realistic release timeframe rather than simply delaying it over and over again to make people think its coming soon. Everything has delays, they should be anticipated and added into the timeframe for production. Also, how on earth do they expect to produce this so soon if they are only just securing a manufacturing space? Even space engineers can't do that! Great to hear about the progress tho :)

That was their stated goal from the beginning, the $99 price point. It could still be a pre-order price but I don't think so. To achieve this price point, they have to rely on quantity of scale which they achieved nicely with the crowd-funding campaign. They also would have to have quite a bit of confidence in their design to make such a high quantity of units at one time.

So it doesn't surprise me that they are prioritizing getting it right over meeting deadlines. Because if this thing actually works as advertised, nobody will remember that it was a few months late. Conversely if it's released on time but has all kinds of problems, nobody will remember that they met their deadline.

My only feedback would be opening up preorders for people who found the campaign only after it ended, since backers can preorder extra grasshoppers now, maybe us regular folk can too soon? Hell I'd even pay more than $99-145, so those prices could stay a backer privilege. Would just love the opportunity to own one of these guys ASAP. Keep up the good work!

We're hesitant to open pre-orders at the moment as it will create more work and we think its our duty to focus our efforts on getting the indiegogo backers their vapes as soon as possible.

Best part about an engineers mindset: "Are parts are delayed? Well, what can we make better in the meantime?"
Charging at higher currents is a great addition. USB 3.0 ports and USB quickcharge are great new technologies for the Grasshopper to utilize.

I logged on today after receiving an email with the link, successfully changed my password... Doesn't seem to be anything more than that though, can't see my contribution like stated in the email

And going to my account just prompts me to update my info again

Edit: being on my cellphone, I couldnt get to that option, had to request desktop AND be in landscape orientation. I got it though, thanks for the feedback

I'm in. Looks slick! I can view my order, and am currently browsing the shop =)

PS: I would like it if the magnetic charger dock was also offered as just a micro USB receptive end, so I could mate it to any micro USB cable. I would buy one of each, permanently wired and independent.

I think they are probably sending out logins in the order you submitted on Indiegogo. I was one of the relatively earlier backers and got my login early this morning, but definitely after the first supporters. It'll come :)

I don't think that is the case, I was literally the first early bird backer and have yet to receive my credentials. Either way I'm confident we'll all have our logins soon.
