And when is the "release"? After they shipped all preorders? I've been delaying my purchase and don't want to miss the bargain boat...so not really sure the extent we discussed/figured out about a possible price increase after release but this was on reddit "I emailed them about this same thing and they told me that yes indeed the price will be going up after it releases. Didn't say how much but that it will."http://imgur.com/SlYlLZp

Thats part of my worry, though the bigger part is spending even more on a product that is just coming out without any type of actual final production units being out there for a bitSo am I, I'm still worried it would cause more of a delay though, no matter what anyone says
-Powerful: Li-Pol battery allows for hi power heating, long battery life 4+ hours!
the on time being about 10 seconds at a time and I've been getting a good 20-30 clicks per charged battery with this method
i.e. 300 seconds = 5 minutes.

interesting
There may be more battery efficient methods of use and I m trying different things. Maybe it will make more sense to click it on and hit it a few times then click off rather than after every hit. Even though my test is equivalent to 5 mins, I found that one battery was enough to get me through the day and the Grasshopper seems to give you much more punch per hit. Like Buzz said, you can kill a whole chamber in a few hits and I my chambers were pretty well spent after 5~6 hits on 3.5 At about 10 seconds a hit.from the first post in this thread ...

No... their specific claim was "3 hours of continuous usage" off of their indiegogo campaign. No amount of semantic workarounds can take the word usage to mean not actually using it. I think people took it the exact way that grass hopper intended for them to take it.@Hippie Dickie that number was how long it would last just turning it off and on. I think people took it the wrong way and ran with it. I do think it was a little deceptive to make the claim, but the claim is based on on/off w/o hits.
My quote is direct copy and paste from the campaign... that is exactly what they claimed."3 hours of battery life" is actually what they said.
But does anyone still even care? If so, and you feel mislead, I'm sure you can sell yours to someone else. You might even make a profit!
20-30 10 second hits from one charge sounds great to me...

doubt it... too individualized and would take up too much time away from manufacturing and shipping other units... Unless they have their system set up to get the shipping label and auto attach it to an account and have that same system be used to send out the emailsI've been on 5 crowdfunding campaigns, and none of them issued tracking numbers.
Maybe this will be the exception....
Well, that video could possibly have been edited to take out the parts where they changed the batteries. Not that I'm saying they did, but it's entirely plausible, I think.
Really? Must have missed that part. Wonderful, if so, but I really wouldn't mind if it was only good for 10 consecutive minutes or something. That's enough for me to use it several times, and I'm almost always going to have the charger for it close to me, if I have the unit on me, so I'm expecting to be perfectly pleased with the battery life.I think at one point they do mention the fact that the battery was still going without charging/replacing.
