I didn't even bother to overthink my option to back or pre-order ...I just simply didn't need or want it badly enough at the time. Hmmm... I still think I'm gonna get one though - seems pretty damn good!

Well technically I'm ahead currently by 2 months predicted ship date-wise, maybe that is more like only a month, maybe its an even larger gap by the time pre-orders are out... who knows. But I know I dont have to worry about it because one day b4/early summer ill have a package with an awesome box! and some extra bonus stuff inside(the actual GH)

They did seem to suggest some early pre orders would be shipping in the initial backer bunch too, someone posted a Trevor email asking about that at some point

That sounds.. Unrealistic. Especially if they are supposedly shipping in waves. But I could see them saying things like that but like they've mentioned many times any date they give isn't exactly set and they really can't give any actual dates until they actually have parts to make this device.

But its all about how you interpret it.

Emailed Trevor regarding my Feb. 8 pre-order to get an idea, his response:
"It looks like you are scheduled for about mid May. This might change as we get more information and we will keep you updated."

In retrospect I should've waited till after the 22nd (or whenever) special update before asking :doh: - they'll probably have a better idea then.

After all this time, you'd think that they could be a bit less vague, eh?

It just seems like with every update, they leave the door open for another delay and they always seem to walk right though it.

yeah but if they didn't people would go crazy yelling at them for not delivering when they said. They're just now getting the parts they need for the first big batch so they have yet to see their true capabilities of putting them all together and ready to ship + they need to have consistent deliveries of the parts so they can continue to ship as they finish using the first shipment of parts.

eta:just looked when I preordered mine... really hope there wasn't too many in-between yours and mine :p

No, he said "about mid May". Not that I'm going to hold them to it, but that's a lot more specific than my order saying just May, and I appreciate that he was willing to give me his best guesstimate considering all the factors they have to work with.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I just realized we haven't seen any accessories. I ordered the ss case with my ti grasshopper, and I'm wondering if these will ship together or if the case will come later? I mean I don't think we've even seen the leather case that is supposed to come with all of the backers' units and any ti units.

Id say its just been overshadowed by peoples desire to see actual GH so I would hope thats all going smoothly (I mean its not like the GH where multiple parts are coming from multiple factories to be put together) but if its not included in this coming update it would be a solid question to include in an email

So, on page 177 I saw that the silicone tip works on a 14mm hydro tube. That gives me a boner.

I got on the waiting list in June 2014. Got an email in Jan 2015 saying 'you got 3 days to order'. Since then I ordered two. Have been told they ship in May.

I would think that the cases would be among the machined parts from China. If so, they should be included in the shipment they're expecting tomorrow. I hope so, anyway - I ordered one, too.
