I rarely quote myself but when I do its for a reason . . .
Boy was I WRONG. Never thought I would see a comment about a "crippling" event like this regarding the heater construction. I just assumed they were working. Just goes to show, I do NOT know shit . . .
I wish you all the best on this project but I'm done speculating with these guys at this point. Glad I didn't order one, however, the Evoke guys got me so there is that . . .
It's entirely possible that it's a scam of sorts...a product Ponzi scheme. They collect investor money, create a few proof of concept products, but never intend to deliver. If they get investigated, there's a plausible case that an actual product is being developed, but due to circumstances outside their control, the product is delayed. With a bit of cleverness, the so-called production problems can be orchestrated by choosing unqualified manufacturers and creating impossible engineering requirements.
If this company were legit, they wouldn't have broken so many promises. For example, no delivery promises would have been made until the finished products were in hand. It's really that simple. At the very least, they're bullshitters for making promises they know they can't keep and/or inept for having no clue how to manufacture a relatively straightforward product.
The facts, for those that care, are clear: money collected for product and numerous false promises. That's unethical business. I hope the moderators are willing to let these facts get a reasonable, if harsh, interpretation, even from a new poster.
Yes, I'm passionate about vaporizing.
