Grasshopper looks a lot like my favorite pen in silver, pretty slick.
Yup. LOVE the form factor.

Not me but it's nothing against Buzz personally. Let me explain.
ANYONE, be it an FC member or not, who gets a free vaporizer from a manufacturer to review, be it a beta or a final production unit, is faced with a bit of a conflict. Do I report it as I see it without any regard to the fact that the manufacturer sent me a free unit? If I clearly point out it's faults, am I somehow being ungrateful to a company who not only sent me a free vaporizer but also trusted me enough to write a review? Would this review be just as brutally honest as it would be if I purchased the unit as any customer would do while at the same time, not having any relationship with the manufacturer other than a manufacturer/customer releationship?
.
his positivity about being blown away made me less enthusiastic
In the comments on the vid he says they're letting him take one homeNever even said they actually gave him a Hopper to keep right?
I also think when people spend money on something and use it well enough, they over praise things to justify their purchase.
What kind of technological problems does the GH team and testers have that they cannot find a dark colored background or someone with one, to help show the clouds better?
I personally asked Trevor about recharging the batteries and it can only be done in the grasshoperSo far I really like what I'm hearing and the "un-stirred " abv.. looks great. One would have to expect the unit to get warm with extended use due to its small form factor. But a hot mouthpiece that has to be capped with rubber is a bit disappointing.
I wonder if the Ti. unit would run any cooler? There was some mention to that effect from GH. Something about how the metals either retain or dissipate the heat differently. Any metal experts here to chime in please?
Battery life doesn't seem awful, swapping them out is easy enough and they aren't very expensive.
Would there be any reason that they couldn't be charged on something like a Nitecore digi charger?
Chargers imr/li-ion/lifePo4/Ni-MH/Ni-Cd
3.7 to 4.2 volts output.
It's a 750mAh 3.7v Li-ion, most ecig chargers that accept the smaller sizes will charge it just fine.I personally asked Trevor about recharging the batteries and it can only be done in the grasshoper
For now at least he said ...
That is why I always go to the most trusted source for vaporizers reviews, which is^^ I do understand that but that is something that I've never done. The only person I need to justify my purchase to is me and even then, I have a hard time doing that sometimes.
But yeah, I see people do that all the time by stating, "Buy it. You'll love it." because I think they firmly believe that if they like it, everyone else should too and if they don't it is they who are wrong.
I got a lot of faults but this is not one of them.
I almost choked before I realized you were being sarcasticThat is why I always go to the most trusted source for vaporizers reviews, which is
High Times Magazine.
(Anybody here remember the Atmos winning as best vaporizer even tho it was scorching the loads all the time.)
I asked Trevor to add some batteries in my order and if I can get to change from stainless to ti colored:
Hi,
We can make these changes for you. The majority of all the different units will ship at the same time. We are shooting for end of the month delivery for your unit but it may take unit April.
Best,
Trevor
Ps: I was queue for preordering, hours after indigogo items was sold out.
