I am March 2016 and think this is going to be a very quit until end of this month and then maybe 2015 gets their order shippedJan 3 '16 Blue TI still waiting. With supposedly all the '15 orders filled it feels like mine is so close yet SO far away...

Legit = I made this product, would you like to purchase it?
Less Legit = Would you like to pay me to develop this product, and then purchase it?
This is why I'm still on the sidelines with the hopper. It still feels like the product isn't finished.
I don't agree with your assessment, if you are inferring that HL is of the 'Less Legit' type you describe.
You seem to imply that any crowdfunded product would be from a 'Less Legit' company.
I do agree that HL have been proven highly inaccurate over and over again with their projections of shipping timing.
The deal for backers was relatively transparent. HL agreed to proceed with development and eventually marketing using the crowdfunding capital backers supplied. This carried forward into the pre-order phase. All of these participants got deep discounts compared to current pricing. No one was given a guarantee of even ever getting a product. All went in for the investment ride knowing of the risk, and even now, when 3 of my four hoppers ordered have needed repair in their first month, I have no regrets. I do wish they'd come along faster and were more reliable, but there's still plenty of time for the reliability to be tweaked.
I have found the hopper to be far more efficient than Mighty or Pax 2 for extraction, plus it heats fast and is stealthy. Not bad for the $135 paid.
I'm Sept 13 '15 and was told mine would ship out tomorrow over a week &1/2 ago, after a bunch of emails I sent i finally got a reply today saying it should ship "soon" and I'd get a shipping confirmation when it did. Could have guessed that.dose
Original backers in the Indiegogo campaign paid $95 US for their SS hoppers. I joined in much later (Aug. '15) as a "pre-orderer", just like you, but earlier and at a slightly better price ($135). I also got a free extra battery (an apology for the wait) and a free leather case (someday they'll ship those!) for the Ti also ordered. I believe the current (your) price of $150 will be raised once the product is officially launched and regularly available. Lifetime warranty may or may not be offered in the future, so, having one is another possible perk for early birds.vapking, I wasn't part of the crowd founded deal. I've paid $150. for a SS, 1/8/16, My original delivery date was 3/16.
I didn't think the vape would be as of today 6 months and 1 day late!
Well, the ESD on my January 2016 order just got changed to September. I believe in the last update they said they would be working over the coming days to update everyone's ship dates. I suppose they could take a break from producing hoppers to write an algorithm that changes everyone's at once, but otherwise, some poor soul ("where's that damn summer intern?") is probably sitting there changing them all by hand. It 's just life on the eternal roller coaster that is the Grasshopper Shipping Thread.Lots of encouraging signs, but well into September it pisses me off no end to check into my 'Hopper account and see that my estimated ship date is still listed as last month. I get that a certain eternal optimism is necessary for a start up and I get that at a certain point they realize their optimism is perhaps unfounded, but now they can't even bother to lie to me? They're essentially saying we haven't a clue? If that's what they mean, then come out and say it, damn it...
Good news is that production has almost caught up to your order, they are shipping Dec. '15 orders now...and there's the constant rationalization that, the longer one waits, the more refined will be the product.
They sent out address comfimation to everyone in 2015 but they haven't shipped my oct 2015 they promised 2 weeks ago would ship. After a few emails they used the excuse they were waiting on anodized parts. As my order has a ss and anodized I asked for them to ship the stainless as I already as many of you have paid 2x for shipping. Then the real truth or next excuse came that they need anodized parts and chargers and batteries. So if they are still waiting to recive parts for October orders December is still a bit off sorry. It really rubs me wrong when they tout themselves in the monthly update of sending shipping address comfimation but it doesn't mean anything because they can't even assemble the product.
Still waiting on mine from Sept.13 2015 preorder, one year today...Jan 3 '16 Blue TI still waiting. With supposedly all the '15 orders filled it feels like mine is so close yet SO far away...
Caroline is sending a member a new "V2" battery. Maybe this is a changeover that has made for temporary delay, like revamped chargers did a few months ago.The info I got was waiting on anodized parts, Chargers, and batteries
Congratulations! Finally three weeks after shipping address confirmation its shipped! What a long process this has been!
Well my buddy had ordered it I believe September/October last year. He has since moved to Japan so I have taken the order over. Im really hoping I recieve these new batteries in this order, will keep you guys postedCongratulations!
Can you please tell us your order date?
Correction (to my post 2 above this one): The new battery is not being called V2, it apparently will say GHB2, rather than the old GHB1 designation. We don't know any more about this at the moment.
Has anyone gotten battery GHB2 with their order yet?
I can cancel? Great option!Original backers in the Indiegogo campaign paid $95 US for their SS hoppers. I joined in much later (Aug. Hopper Labs' policy of moving the goal posts into the future all the time has led to bad feelings and bad relations, no doubt about that. I didn't think mine would take a year! though, after a while, I was prepared for even longer.
With all this said, it's also clear that by the time you ordered, the knowledge of HL's long rollout history was pretty well out there for anyone to see. I'm not faulting you for not knowing, HL clearly has never been pre-emptive in disclosing just how slow things were moving, I'm just saying the opportunity to know these things was there (here, reddit, reviews).
Any existing unfulfilled pre-orders can be cancelled for full refund at any time, btw.
Have I mentioned lately how well the thing works? Let's not lose sight of that!

Patience, Grasshopper, indeed!

The monthly updates have been less than truthful.
