Happy to see they're making progress. New order estimation is now November, but they're still posting this crap on my account....Maybe I'm too sensitive (and it is funny), but kind of pisses me off too:

New realistic assessment or is GHL on vacation in October? ;)

Grasshopper Pre-order
August Update


Hello Hoppers,

August was a busy month for us. We focused on smoothing our supply chain, increasing supporting manufacturer throughput and training the in-house assembly crew. These changes are a part of our continual effort to increase production volume and keep delays to a minimum.

Early in the month, we met with our manufacturers to overcome issues with part shortages and implemented a new throughput management system to better meet the Grasshopper’s demand. With a record number of trained assembly technicians, we look forward to turning the flow of components into Grasshoppers. Below is the new building where Hoppers will be machined.

While August did not see a large increase in Grasshoppers shipped, we did get address confirmation emails sent to every pre-order placed in 2015! These units will be shipping shortly! Although shipping times and order volume are both greater than we anticipated, we are making rapid progress. With 2015 orders almost complete we will get 2016 estimates updated soon. We assure each of you that your pre-orders are very important to us and we are striving to get them filled as soon as possible.

To ensure we are staying connected and to give you another avenue to reach us, we’ve aimed to increase our social media presence this month. We are using our Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts to post mid-month updates and send out friendly reminders. In case you missed it, we used our social media accounts for a Grasshopper T-shirt Giveaway this August! Thanks to everyone who participated and congrats to the winners! Follow the Grasshopper on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, keep an eye out for more giveaways and look forward to more mid-month updates posted on these platforms.

Still have not received my first preorder from Sept.13 2015 (Plain Ti) they did mail me my most recent purchase of a grasshopper T-shirt and said all my other orders would ship out tomorrow( about a week ago) still no address or shipping confirmation tho have seen others that ordered after me with grasshopper in hand hopefully soon.....

Check your spam folder for the email as well. A few people had the email in there, but if you can't find it just send them an email and it'll be worked out.

Address confirmation received August 18, 2016.

Shipping confirmation received September 2, 2016.

Package received September 5, 2016. (Labor Day?!?)

I guess I'm finally done with this thread. It's a weird feeling.

To all of you who are still waiting I hope you get your Grasshoppers swiftly. It looks like they'll be on 2016 orders before too long. :D :peace:

I did email when realized my shipping confirmation was only for the t-shirt,(nice shirt!) she replied saying the rest of my order would ship out the following day( Aug 31st) and I've emailed several times today, no reply yet (my yahoo wouldn't send email then sent em all at once & I wasn't thinking about it being Labor Day) Hopefully tomorrow. Nothing in spam folder

Oct 2015 preorder

So I got my shipping comfimation 8/23
I emailed a week later 8/29 asking what processed ment they said it would ship this week and would provide me a tracking number. A week goes by nothing and no contact so I emailed again yesterday to see what was up and I get an email back saying they don't have the anodized parts in and they want me to have the latest parts and it will ship maybe next week. This fucking around with customers had got to stop, i hate to break it to all of you but I'm pretty sure they just sent out shipping comfirmations so that they could tout somthing good in their latest update but not actually filling orders. It's shady as fuck don't you think?
So I asked if anodized parts is what I'm waiting for why cant they ship my stainless hoppers ? I have already payed them 2x for shipping and it's their fuck up again, so shouldn't they have to ship me what they have and eat the cost to ship again? That's what normal company that actually cares dose right? So my feeling is it's more lies and excuses and everyone with a shipping comfimation might not be getting your hoppers as soon as they made it seem.

I understand your frustration. Still, it's difficult to assume what their intent is. They could have been genuinely trying to help waiting for the new batch of anodized parts, if there was a big improvement in the process. A "normal company" doesn't use crowdfunding to get the product to market. So we can expect some less than "normal" behavior from GHL?

I think the big problem is when people have to wait a year or more to get their order fulfilled, it can drain a customer's patience, and the littlest delay can push things over the edge. The updates sometimes seem to rub it in as much as inform. Hope your order gets to you soon and safely, and functioning!

Me too I just don't understand why they wouldn't just ship what they got then ship again? I know they trying to be cheep skates but they need to fix their fuck ups. Offer extra batteries for delays SOMETHING ANYTHING other than haha fuck you. And you are right the updates do rub it in when they are trying to come off as look how great we are doing we sent out all shipping comfimation for 2015 but they KNOWINGLY couldn't provide the product for orders in October how are they going to provide products for December? it's outright deception. They shouldn't send out address comfimation if they can't provide the product. And if there is a delay which they obviously knew about I have to send multiple emails for them to give me a bunch of spin. They should be proactive in telling people when they already told me my order would ship a week ago. It's not hard they know what they are doing and choose to be shady.

This is why I'm still on the sidelines with the hopper. It still feels like the product isn't finished.
