just asking: is there another way to reach the grasshopper companie by email, i send one email two days ago about a typing error in my adress and that i wanted to order more batteries,
i am a international backer since dec.01.2013 4pm,
i was sending the mail to trevor@grasshoppervape.com but no response, i re-send the same mail this morning to their support@grasshoppervape.com adress,,,still no answer,,,,
but around here and in the other grasshopper thread i read all the time from people sending them mails about everything and they get direct or fast response??? so, is there maybe another mail/way to reach them?! :-)

Send an email with a subject line of upgrading your order or something that would seem like it was about giving them more money. Seems if you email him about shipping, you won't get a response.hi all,

Good to know i wasnt the only one..i was wondering wtf was happeningI would love to know the same thing. I sent an email a week ago and still have not received a response. Meanwhile, others are emailing with Trevor daily. What gives?
I said it before, but my suspicion is this is their "beta test" phase. As you may be aware, at least 3-4 of the maybe 1 dozen units shipped so far have had to be returned for various malfunctions. Basically, it's not ready to be mass shipped yet. They're still working the kinks out of assembly. When they feel confident that they can build them in bulk without making so many mistakes, that's when shipping will ramp up.Thats what ive been saying all along and everyone is calling me craay for speculating that they have only shipped 20 or less so far..
Apparently not everyone is on fc or reddit..well like I've said before there is enough proof that at least 5 holiday backers who have said they ordered within minutes and early birds (such as myself who ordered in the first few mins) still have yet to get any email what so ever about address confirmation let alone shipping or tracking numbers.
My speculation holds weight and everyone is turning a blind eye to it.
hopper labs is struggling to mass ship the hopper to us..and still no explanation as to why the struggle..why the hold up?
Something still isn't right that they are purposly delaying mass shipments(mass meaning at least 50-100 units in a shot)
Someone who is an early holiday order plz back me up on this.
I think your sentiments are echoed around the thread - we don't know what they're doing and we don't know what is supposed to happen next, unfortunately all we have is speculation. Like, why did it seem like they were all set to deliver this month (in a different way than before) and then nothing? They've been constantly underestimating the timing on everything, so maybe they blocked out some time for triple-checking their processes? Or, why do I feel like next update won't help? So little clear shipping activity, estimated July is a vague target and delays are all we've gotten so far, but what does that lead to? I think you're experiencing the quieting of cynicism that happens in waves here cause we can only react to so much with so little clear information. They probably gave longer delivery dates so they can have this buffer period to see the initial issues rather than shipping hundreds (say 400) at once and then having to resend another 100 or so bc of malfunctions so instead they are seeing the kinds of issues first to try and prevent that while giving themselves time to meet the newer estimates... maybe?

Sooooooo what guys are saying is you want a legal business entity to make a false declaration on legal international documents? Of course Chinas has no problem calling a bubbler a glass cup or vase. But a business can get into big trouble for that sort of stuff. That's not to say they could be slightly more vuage with the defintion ("Aromatherapy device") instead of vaporizer, but you can't call it something it's not.
As it's been mentioned, get a PO box, have it shipped to a different address. Buy one second hand and shipped in a blank box.
Don't expect a business to lie on your behalf. Take the necessary precautions to protect yourself. Always look out for #1 first
