I like the silicon cap to keep the smell in too.

I don't think the session extender will keep in much smell. It's open at the top so you can inhale and it doesn't block the air intake holes.

I got my holiday backer email confirmation today, then emailed trevor to see if I could just pick it up instead ... and then stopped by .... they were out to lunch but, I left a bribe of a six pack of my home-brew beer and got an email back a few hours later to stop by. First of all as for the grasshopper itself, go right ahead and believe the hype, this thing is AWESOME!!


Also, Matt and Trevor are totally cool, spent about 30 minutes or so talking with them. The quality of the product is one thing but these guys are really cool and I'm excited for them.

I was wondering the same thing. Any delays going across the border? Is there duty to be paid?
Mine is due to arrive in August (original May delivery date)

For those keeping track of such things, there were 243 early birds and holiday orders. So presumably, regular backers should be next in line. Of course, we still have no clue how many completed hoppers they can do in a day or week....

Never said they shipped any to early birds, only that until they ship those first 243, none of the regular backers are going to see theirs (ours!).

Ok my fault, I understood it like these 243 are almost shipped and regular backers are coming soon. But they are just at the very beginning of these 243 hoppers.

Yeah, pure convection efficiency at work, just like the Elevape and Underdog as expected. Really fun hearing from y'all conduction session folks, the comparison is ridiculous I'm sure lol

It's a good sign July estimates are beginning though, seems like they said July to assure you'll definitely have it by July, and some will see it earlier... Any day now we'll see a flood

Yeah, I don't know how "soon", just "next".
Though it's likely that more have actually been shipped than the handful we've heard about here and on reddit.

I think they're just trickle shipping to the first few people to use them as beta testers, to help identify and work out the kinks of assembly. And we've seen a few hoppers with issues already so it's good they didn't just push out a whole bunch at full speed, cuz they'd probably be inundated with warranty claims by now.

As stated before - there is no "code" to the order numbers. The GH order system was built after the IGG campaign ended. I suspect they were already taking preorders on their store before the actual IGG information was entered into their database. (Some early preorders have order numbers lower than IGG backers).

Moreover, it's likely that in the ETL process (Export, translate, Load) from the IGG database to the GH database is the main issue here. I'll bet when the data was entered, it was sorted by name or email address, the order numbers were more or less randomly assigned for IGG backers
