I got the $65set with everything included.
Other than the adaptor, is there any thing else we can use for the bag/balloon?
As from what I can tell it's either using a water piece or a whip tube.

I got the full set for $55, $80 with international shipping though!
The bag nozzles will slide into the 14mm top of the Mini adaptor set up to the rounded bit, not sure if that'll seal well enough to keep it on. Bag nozzles are 10mm, so if you want it really secure you could check dhgate for a 14.4 male to 10mm female adaptor (I think).
The arizer bag-filling piece will fit on top of DDave's 18mm adaptors and you still have his 'cyclone' loading bit, just the elbow screen instead of his wand screen.

I have a 10mm-14mm adaptor and it doesn't fit the top of the wand or it would have worked. Using it up to the ridges I dont think will work either as the Vapour will just spill out and go everywhere.
Will need some sort of adaptor if not you are right can always use the elbow piece and rock ddave's adaptor
Did you by any chance get a small adaptor that on one end has filtered glass? 2 sizes butu can't figure out what they are for. It's identical to the water tool adaptor but has aglass filter thing with holes in.
Edit- people use a small piece of tubing from the wand and the balloon mouthpiece fits inside of this.
Using Ddave mods- do you elbow pack in the wand or do you pack in the adaptor? Which provides the best functionality ?

Ah, no I didn't get the same set as you it turns out, you got the v3 set, those 2 Basketless adaptors are what the extra $10 was for. Glass filtered instead of the ss basket screens, for better taste. I think you use them instead of the wands? Not certain on that though lol, I have too many pieces of glass everywhere right now.

Ahh ok I think they are for if you want to pack the adaptor bowl, I saw a video of guy using it like that so no material is sucked up in to the tube. Lol you should see how much glass I have now!

The 14mm is great for quick hits, when you don't have much time, or when you just want to vape a small amount. If you got the $65.00 set, you have a concentrate adapters (the one that uses the plastic Keck clip) that's 18mm.
You know, I just Vaped some Gorilla Glue #4, and I am not sure I still understand the question, as much as I should . Perhaps I should come back to this.

The screen not beeing even was my problem at first too. I just learned it after a few tries. But he includes quite a lot of screens, I whish I could offer better advice than this! Good Luck

should have paid and got the installation service lolOk so I got to use it in 2 ways last night:
1st method
Ddave 18mm Shorty, connected to 18mm wand elbow packed by Ddave. I cut a piece of old tubing from EQ packaging (still all new lol) and stuck it inside the wand at the top. Initially I left the unit on to preheat. Once preheated I put all the glass on top after.
So at the top of the tubing I put the glass mouthpiece for my balloon.
I didn't use this method for long as the smell just started pouring out, somewhere along the lines there was a gap so I had to abandon this method, not too happy about it but oh well.
(I smoke inside, as I can't go outside, so the given smell has to extremely minimal.
Stock balloon setup is bang on and hardly any smell, I have one of them smoke buddies to help also)
Method 2
This is totally new to me, I've only ever used balloons since I got my EQ.
Used the same Ddave Shorty 18mm adaptor, in replacement of the cyclone bowl. Then connected the 18mm wand and filled up the basket as if I was elbow packing it. I then got one of the 2 supplied silicone tubes and used that.
220deg, fan 3, extracted the herbs in about a good 2 full rips.
I was baked!
However, I can't use this method either because the smell was considerably more as there was so much Vapor.
So tonight I'm going to take the 18mm wand out, use the elbow glass tube that came with the EQ and the balloon to that. Only part different here would be the new Ddave adaptor so let's see how much difference that would make
I'd love to use ddave's wand aswell, but untill I don't find another way of getting the bag full with no smell I can't use it.
At some point I'm also going to try-
Ddave Shorty 14mm adaptor, my new 10mm to 14mm adaptor inside ddave's, and I can just put the mouthpiece to the balloon inside that. So there will be no wand.
Not sure how effective this is going to be mind you, but it's another one to test

existing elbow wand from EQ elbow packed
Balloom bag
OH WOW one can think just a small adaptor would not make any improvement over stock.
simply just WOW. you cant be more wrong! this thing ripped like crazy.
SO guys/girls proof Ddave glass rocks!
my next experiment is using the shorty 18mm adaptor mixed with my balloon adaptor straight.
NO elbow piece nor Ddave wand. Lets see what this does!
Of course i would have to fill the adaptor chamber up so thats another difference.
Not sure how well it will perform as its so close to the heater (Ddave's mods, especially the cyclone replacement sits alot further down where as the cyclone sits higher. Ddave is a lot more wider also compared the narrow cyclone. Both 18mm so should be interesting to see how all this plays out.
Conclusion for today is, if you dont, you should, go out, grab, pick up, Ddave 18mm shorty adaptor.
(not tried the taller one yet, nor have i tried the 14mm versions.)

I completely agree.. its amazing the difference the parts make.. the result of alot of testing and trial and error from @DDave...

@junny89, I'm thrilled you are having so much fun with Ddave's mods. The Arizer Extreme Q is wonderful, and Ddave's mods make it even better. Reading this thread, I was impressed with how much time and attention DDave put into quality control, his specs, his attention to detail, and his customer service. DDave is a credit to the community. @junny89 , I'm glad you are on the thread. It was kind of lagging, and you are freshening it up. Keep writing- I very much look forward to your posts.

Ahh thank you. I've been thinking about a vap cap but just not sure yet as I don't see me using it alot as I just got the EQ, ghost mv1 and square pro. Oh and also a MFLB.
All fantastic I have to be fair and say.
Tbh I was very very skeptical, its only glass, for example the Ddave adaptor comes in 2 different heights and they are wider, so really how much difference can it make. To a already excellent setup by arizer.
But as is with everything, the devil is in the details. Them minor enhancements make it something else completely and that's in a good way. In my opinion with Ddave's mods, its actually much much better than its counterpart rival volcano.
I saved some money on the price difference, well actually it's like almost £150. The price of a square pro.
Add the Ddave stuff comes just under £80 delivered, its a far superior set up and still I have money left over !
Definitely bang for you're buck.
As I said earlier I was sceptical, I was also for the EQ, took a gamble and it totally paid off.
I am Limited on the many various choices you get to have with the EQ; balloon, whip and bubbler/glass piece. For me, I can only use the balloon due to the smell from the whip and bubbler.
I'm sure if I set it up correctly like I did the first night, the whip and bubbler are awesome but for now it's the balloon.
So I will continually try to fine tune and find the perfect balance to make the most out of it.
At first glance Ddave's mods look and feel superior and I may say so; elegant. I was actually surprised because it feels like $200 worth of kit NOT $65! Especially considering it comes with everything you can think of! Such a wide array of items meaning you have every set up imaginable!
I will say though, I was confused and lost when I opened the parcel as there was just so much included and it took me hours to figure out what everything does (please bare in mind, I had no clue who Ddave was and how much exactly his mods improved a user's experience.)
I am over the moon with everything and can't thank you guys/girls more than enough and especially @DDave for taking the time out to create such additional products, with love and care. Yes, I can see it through the craftsmanship.
So tonight will be another experiment and I will get back to you all tomorrow with my findings.
P.s thank you to everyone on the forum with all the advice/tips/hints and tricks. Oh also for giving me the nudge to buy the EQ and DDave mods!

Seriously i promise you this, the @VapCap will shelf most of your other vapes...
Its a sad but true truth, as much as iv tried to fight it, dynavap has taken over..
And for very good reason, its a mind blowing little device...
I have a few vapes, but all i really use is my evo and vapcaps...
The vapcaps work really well with concentrate too..
So all im interested in buying now is dynavap stuff...
And i just got 2 glass wands from @DDave which (as expected) make them even better...
I started with just one vapcap in the early days before they got this popular, now i have 8... and counting...
My eq does stil get an occasional outing... i like the all glass kit from @DDave...
Im gonna get it out tonight and fill some bags with rosin chips...

While this is the EQ thread.... My roomate has a VapCap M and I had a few chances to try it out... It never clicked with me that much (hah) and I feel like im doing something wrong because of all the praise im seeing. You are just the icing on the cake! Would you mind sharing some tips and advice with me? I have a 3 Flame and single torch lighter. The room for error doesnt seem to be that big. Could I ask for a breakdown from start to exhale?
Also, my new 14mm DDave Mod arrived today! I missed using this thing, lets hope said roomate will never break anything again
Also I am going to try out the v3 glass filtered wand for the first time aswell tonight. Y'all use whole nugs with it? Have a wonderful sunday!

I use a single flame torch, use ground herb, (i do like nugs too), and heat at the very bottom of the cap for the whole time, then half a second after the second click..
Then inhale lots, and you should have just managed a single hit extraction..
Thats how i do it for clouds...
A small amount of kief or rosin in the end takes it to the next level..
Dont give up, vapcap is amazing once you become one with the cap...
Easy, I hear you bro. Funnily, I dont "love" my Omnivap. There are actually quite a few things I don't like about it and the vapcaps I mean.
BUT...I STILL use it every day practically. I dont go a day without feeling I want or need to use it, at some stage in my routine, if not several. And this is no matter what other hard heavy hitter I am using at the time. Personally I just would never be content with only the vapcap and will always need a superpower desktop option to mix and match with.
Currently that is the 7th floor Elev8r until the digital Herborizer Ti is completed. The Elev8r is a seriously hard hitting vape with the best flavour I have ever known, and yet I still make daily use of my Omnivap alongside it which compliments it very well and helps me to make my supply go much further and use it in a more flexible, convenient and enjoyable manner.
Just wanted to add anyhow. The vapcaps can be a very useful compliment to a desktop and can really add to your experience of it, be it the Q, the Flowerpot, Herborizer Ti, Elev8r....
It seems that many of the truest vaporists who sport and champion all of these big devices- ALSO STILL use vapcap (mostly Omni) daily and have hardly a bad word to say about it after all this time.

But i gotta say, an ss vapcap (even ti), can hit really hard with flowers or concentrate, through water... equal to evo, just not on taste...
Eq with a @DDave kit and a ht on top isnt too far off evo..
But eq is so usefull, and does so much, i will always own one i think...

I bought and sold a new Evo recently. I couldn't tolerate it without an allergy type respiratory reaction to the vapor as I experience with some heavy hitters but not all which is nothing to do with the materials.
However I was really underwhelmed with the flavour of the Evo after having been so spoilt with the Elev8r since January this year. After I finished the Evo trial I went back to the Elev8r and was gobsmacked on the first hit at how much better and purer the taste was.
Best tasting vape I have known no question.
I use it exclusively with a quail currently and the Auber rdk 300 controller. A super hard hitter.

I love my 2...and yes you will find you shelve your other vapes. It's discreet, flavorful, fast heat up, no to minimal moving parts, no electrical failure. It's the only vape I've had friends use where they go out and buy one after using mine. And with Eds TnT log vape you can turn it into a desktop unit.

An evil demon broke my DDave 18mm shorty mod, then hid it. A heartbreaking find. My basket screens were squashed, and the flat screens gone. Enough of my kit is missing or broken to where I'm not sure if I should try to replace the entire thing, or just the most critical parts. It's not been a joy to revert back to stock. The same evil demon ruined my stash as well, so it's feast to famine. Still, I'm more upset about my glass being broken. Adapters have stolen my heart, which us good because mine was misplaced and glass is more durable then where it was before.
