PALE BLUE DOT
I'm just learning how to vaporize!Greetings @dynospec
Happy Holidaze and great questions!
I've broken them up into separate quoted replies below.
The most popular kits by far are the V2.5.... V3 specifically for flavor seekers.
With V3 and coarsely or unground herb, you can skim the flavors off your herb before grinding further and re-vaping with V2.5 pieces.
Basically, they bump flavor up a notch by removing a huge portion of the metal from the airpath.
In an EQ equipped with the latest shorty DDave Adapter, the Concentration Chamber excels at processing concentrates that melt into coarsely ground herb.
The herb acts as a sort of wick and the concentrates are siphoned off of them by heated air, similar to using cotton or hemp wick as some mention.
Only ground herb is needed. Will make cleanups easier than if cotton is used.
I've not delved much into Concentrate Pads, but if you could find a small round pad that would fit into the bottom of the Concentration Chamber, that may work a charm.
However, a pad that was larger or smaller than the bottom of the chamber would have negative impact to processing concentrates.
I include Free sample pack of rimless basket screens and the appropriate install tool(s), depending on kit, that you can definitely use.
Though you'll find coarsely ground herb has a much better flavor profile than finely ground herb. (This mentioned on FC many times resulting from member testing).
Hope this helps! Hopefully others who have pieces can also comment on their experiences and best use practices.
Thanks,
DDave
The "Q" work's better with @DDave kit.
I like the fan system of the "Q" for water path.
Just my opinion.
