I probably am going to bite the bullet and try one of these in the not too distant future. I love the idea of the zirconia cooling unit. Tell me @Davinci_vaporizer are you guys going to make various sized dosing capsules to shrink down the size of the oven with different options? I'd love to see something that allows loads around .1-.15g!
I also suspect that this thing could make an incredible hash vaporizer but we need something to protect the oven - @Adobewan do those vapir prima screens fit snugly in the bowl or is there space around the sides still?

Snugly, like they were made for it. In fact you have to either use a bent pin to fish it out, or use your DV tool to push down on one side and lever the opposing side up and out they are so snug.

A word on efficiency.
We all agree the IQ, like the Ascent is pretty much a weed hog with that huge bowl, and many of us are subconsciously comparing to the efficiency of S&B capsules. So I put it to the test! I filled a capsule, then dumped it into the IQ. Didn't even pack it down, just left it loose. The fully extended pearl didn't even come close to the herb sitting at the bottom. I expected this to be a "bad" experience, but it still worked decently. I was very pleased knowing full well it could only go up from here.
And the next day, right after ordering those Vapir pads, I found the perfect temp solution sitting right in my Ascent box!
Davinci offered little circle screens with the Ascent, presumably to go over the holes at bottom of bowl, and they are the exact size of the IQ bowl! Fits it to a "T" So I did the same test, one S&B capsule worth (it's become a unit of measurement for me
and this time I put the little screen on top. Pushed it down, and off I went.
KA BOOM. Excellent.
@Davinci, why didn't you include a few of these screens? I realize it introduces some metal into the pure path, but DAMN it works! I had a full 10 min sessions just like with a full bowl. I estimate you can fit 3 capsules worth into the IQ.
Where it still fails:

Not a bug just part of the features. So when you are in Smart Path mode if you click the control button 1 time it will flash your temperature to you so you can see what temperature your path is currently at. Now if you do not press any other buttons to interrupt the path the device will switch back to display the Smart Path setting. If you want to enter precision tempurature mode and set an exact temp you will need to press your control button once to display the digital numbers then adjust your temp to your desired setting. When you have adjusted to an actual set temp your device will stay in precision mode and heat up to your set temp.
The flavor chamber can sometimes peek up when the device is warm. Make sure to remove the flavor chamber before opening the battery door to remove the battery. If your battery casing is damaged please do not continue to use the battery as it is now unsafe.
Love my IQ!! The bubbler makes it even better!!

I got my Nectar Collector Honeybird combo. I'm a noob at vaping with water attachments, so I have some questions.
Not sure if I'm using it correctly, lol. I watched this video for reference:
I mimicked this guy's method of getting water into the Honeybird by sucking in water from a drinking glass. However, mine wouldn't stay filled as much as his. Most of the water just falls back out, and it levels out naturally at about 1.5 centimeters high. That sound right?
When vaping, there's no "bubbling" action like you get with a traditional bong. The vapor just passes through the glass piece, like an extended mouthpiece made of glass. This leaves me to wonder, what is the water accomplishing? Just cooling the vapor a bit? Or am I doing something wrong? (Edit: I realized that I can get the bubbling action when holding it horizontally, but not vertically. But that would be pretty awkward to hold the IQ + Honeybird horizontally when vaping.)
And then, how do you get the water out of the honeybird core? The bit of water that remained initially doesn't fall out no matter how I hold or shake it, but eventually that'll get dirty.

Once in precision mode how do u easily get it back to path mode. I get it there eventually by clicking the control button but that does not always work

This vape is the definition of solid, both in terms of construction and performance. I think if you put some kind of a soft sleeve around the IQ to cushion falls it'd be nigh indestructible for any normal application.
I'm really loving the flavor at 360-370F. Because the oven is so big and you can pack it tight and full, the flavor on low temps for the first few draws rivals my FF2. Speaking of the FF2 which I consider the blood-brother to my IQ; I have to say the IQ replaced the FF2 as my "Most enjoyable to hold" vaporizer. It fits great in the hand and just feels nice, very elegant.
I usually get all of the good flavor hits at lower temps dry and then I switch to higher temps 390-410F and attach my hydrotube with the 14mm water adapter. The IQ works great through water and for me water is necessary at higher temps as there is a ton of vapor because of the big oven.
I then finish the session using boost mode for a couple draws and the oven is cashed.
I have to say I'm impressed with the consistency of the AVB, it is always the same color throughout the load.
One thing that surprised me a lot was I had a session where I pushed the heat hard, got huge clouds, and I expected dark brown AVB. I emptied the oven to find very light AVB that clearly had more vaping to go. The oven is huge so efficiency from that standpoint isn't great BUT the IQ is great in terms of its efficiency of extraction.
My only downsides are quite minor and very fixable:
14mm adapter isn't tight to the base of the IQ and gives it a wobbly feeling(this is why I need my 14mm zirconia mouthpiece)
Large oven(only a con for solo use, it's a huge positive for group use, spacer is necessary and incoming)
Too many button pushes to turn on and off(3 presses is plenty)
The clicking noise of the heater is noticeable (I don't like the clicking but you get used to it and it's not a big deal at all)
Other than that, flavor is great, vapor production is great, removable battery life is great, modular zirconia build is great, built in stir tool is invaluable, build quality and feel is great. I keep trying to make comparisons for the IQ but the comparisons don't really do it justice.
The IQ really is a great vape in its own right.

Purchased my IQ today from a LHS for a super deal!!!!
I'm digging it for what it is...and IMO it's the best looking portable vape I have ever held.
The attention to detail is superior.
I only feel I need to get it dialed in a little more to get the most from it.
Wish the boost mode took it above 430 too.

Second session with the Honeybird went much better. Just by tilting the device slightly towards your face as you hit it, this allows it to bubble up nicely. I love how cool the vapor is even at 420 F, and no cotton mouth. On the downside, some water dripped down through the mouthpiece, into the flavor chamber and even the oven. I had to clean it thoroughly after that.

Try to contact them via facebook. I get really quick responses

Just buy from authorised reseller that will handle garantee for you, DaVinci is not doing sales business seriously.

What a nightmare that was. I had 4 different phones in one month.
Now I have the Pixel XL, best Phone yet!

I had the Grasshopper on preorder for 5 months when I cancelled and ordered this IQ.
What a mistake.
I would have had my Grasshopper now instead of this BS.
And when I cancelled the Grasshopper PreOrder, I had my FULL Refund in my PayPal 15 minutes after I sent the email to Cancel.
Now that is what I call Customer Service
Tho I was advised to try CBD oil drops in my mouth.
Got some last week and I never felt better.
Mind, body and spirit.
I will probably stop vaping and just do the CBD oil from now on.
So much easier and way more effective.

But you gotta have a trusty backup if your a med user.... hence the solo and vapcap I have...will not fail me.....
cbd oil is one thing, but can never truly replace vaping flowers for me...
