I'm assuming you're referring to the IQ Gloves...

French living in Italy, actually...therefore the soda reference.
But with some Durban poison, Jack Herer, AK47 or Girl Scout Cookies I'd definitely compare that with sipping a good Bordeaux or an old Armagnac
If you're 'sipping' are you using boost mode?
Surf the Emerging Edge with DaVinci
DaVinci honors true innovative legacy by crafting the best vaporizers. We are committed to elevating the purest vapor production and empowering absolute control to craft your experience. Take a journey with us, as we introduce a product designed just for you, DAVINCI MIQRO.
I love the cheapest price of the Miqro (149$ is a sweet spot for electronic vaporisers, and with the same vapour quality as the IQ it's a no brainer), if the smaller batterie warms a little less the unit it can be very interesting (one review seems to say it is hot like the IQ...but as i said for the IQ it can't be expected to be so much cooler than 220°F in such a tiny form factor).
Can you post a picture of it next to the IQ, please?
Crafted to fit your lifestyle, we present to you, the DAVINCI MIQRO. 33% smaller than the IQ vaporizer and with a fully functional adjustable oven, we invite you to explore your life in MIQRO steps. Check out the DAVINCI MIQRO features here https://www.facebook.com/DaVinciVaporizer

Thank you ;-)I'll be sure to pick up a miqro they come out. I like that rust color, and the price is nice.
Hi everybody, I'm new to the FC forum, but I have read a lot of pages already.
It was really a hard decision between the IQ, the Crafty and the Arizer Air 2.
I decided to buy the IQ (4 days ago) solely for being almost the same price on Amazon as in my country (Argentina)
Only used it once since I had no time (and I don't live alone) but just had a few questions.
- Which mouthpiece gives you the best vapor or high?
- Is it better to charge the battery with a charger or via usb? (planning on buying a New battery, i've already read Which ones in the forum)
- I also bought the spacers, for solo sessions, but is it better for group sessions as well?
- How much packing is needed for the best result?
Thanks a lot in advance

I think the mouthpiece is down to preference/draw resistance. Go for the extended if this is your first ever vape. I try to match my inhale to the draw resistance of the vape. For me I prefer the flat one but there is more resistance.
I only have 1 battery. The stock battery. I charge by USB I would add that removing the battery from my IQ 'resets' the device. I usually have it in stealth mode and smart path 1. Removing the battery or even opening and immediately closing the lid goes in to full brightness and smart path 3. Would suggest an external charger if you will be using more than 2 batteries as this may get annoying changing and charging.
I find the spacers make this vape extremely efficient. I use the smaller spacer and a minute amount - just covering the bottom of the oven. Can get 10-20 minutes session from this and a very even roast of the herb.
It depends what size group you're sharing with. You could just load up a tiny amount and keep reloading. I'm a bit nervous when it comes to battery powered vapes. I wouldn't want the iq to be on constantly for more than a bowl or two, just feel like there's heat sensitive components that aren't exactly designed for this purpose- that's just me though. You might be OK but I would prefer a desktop if I was sharing with anything more than 1 person. Maybe a group of 3 at a push. Ideally I would load a minimum amount. Use a spacer and let the person enjoy the whole bowl. Let ot cool down for a few while loading another and repeat.
I find that vaping is very much preference and the more you experiment the more you discover. I feel like the iq has the best flavour of all my vapes but for ease of use and vapour production it takes a little more time to get used to.
Also try removing the flavour chamber for massive clouds due to less resistance and my final note, get something heat proof for the spacers they get MEGA HOT! I have asbestos fingers so have no problem handling them but even I have felt a tingle from the heat of those things.
Good luck, Happy vaping + welcome
I usually just use the smart paths and flick through them. I don't have a set routine, start on 1 and then when I feel the flavour/vapour tail off I switch up or whenever I feel like it, depending on my mood. Sometimes I'll go up to 4 but I'll finish before the vape shuts off. Other times I'll go to 3. Sometimes I can switch it off and come back to it. That's one of the great things about the IQ. How versatile it is. It's one of the things I enjoy about the smart paths too, you're not thinking about the temperature. I'm also not huffing away at this for 20 minutes constantly. It's more sipping and savouring.Hi, yeah I was taking the battery out after usage but everything just resets, not a big deal though.
Is that different using the spacers? Will try today.
Taking out the flavor chamber makes that much of a difference? Will try that too.
What temps do you vape? That amount of vaping with the spacers seems like a lot, the 10-20 minute sessions you mention.

You'll have to forgive me it's late and I'm a little medicated.Ok Thanks, useful tips.
Just one more thing, to get the most out of it, to this vape or the others, is it better to take long draws or short ones?
You'll have to forgive me it's late and I'm a little medicated.
I've found that slow inhalation is the key so slow deep breathing, if you can. Don't focus too much on the amount you inhale, the closer to natural breathing the better which is why I prefer the flatter mouthpiece when I'm solo.
It might just all be in my head. This might not be the best method and it might not be the best method for you. I'm no advanced user - 5 months 5 vapes the s&b mighty being my first and IQ my most recent. I find the extended mouthpiece and the mighty very similar to the experience of smoking, shape and draw wise but obviously with the perks of vaping. With the flavour chamber removed there's almost too little draw resistance but it's fun. I'm not sure if it's recommended to remove it though?
I clean quite regularly. At least weekly everything gets a good clean. Empty immediately after vaping to keep the heater clean and use the brush after a session(let it cool-not sure what the brush is made of). I think the spacers absorb a few oils too.
You know to keep the bud after vaping (avb) too don't you? Depending on the temperature you use you can reuse, there's lots of recipes. Sorry if this is known just trying to pass on experience.
I always choose my words carefully when discussing vaping. I was thinking about this while I made a coffee this morning - no one tells you how you like your coffee or favourite beverage. People have preferences and that's the same with vaping. I love the taste. I never smoked cigarettes so wanted another way to consume. Im loving that im not burning or tasting paper for a start. Good luck and best wishes on your journey I'm sure you'll find your way. Glad I mentioned the avb I'm waiting till I get a nice amount and then going to make some butter with it. It seems the most popular recipe.I didnt
I didnt know that, about the avb. Will Google some about it.
About the draws, I took long deep ones, will try your method.
Just curious, are you getting the kind of clouds that are shown here for example?I found that the key to a great vape from the IQ depends a lot on how you grind and pack, not too tight, not too loose and it'll do the job very well. I have found that too loose still works better than too tight. You want your material to be pretty danged dry too. All vaporizers have their quirks including the IQ but I can tell you that it is quite easy to get along with once you figure it out.
I bought it mostly for solo usage, maybe a friend or two. I was vaping at the higher temps with boost Mode.I guess I do get clouds like in the video. I don't really focus on that too much.
With the level of highness I find vaping to be a much cleaner experience. There's none of the baddies that get released with combustion so less of the 'spaced out, mongy feeling' if you're wanting something that's going to hit you in the face I would recommend starting at higher temperatures - possibly switch to precision mode and go above 400 possibly even 420 be careful though as the herb can start to burn at these temperatures which would leave a horrible taste in your vape. I never got this but I don't use my IQ that high. I have a flowermate aura that barely produces any clouds until the temp goes over 420.
It takes at least a few weeks of 'none combustion' for the craving of those compounds to go away. My first (decent) vape was the mighty and I bought this when I had an ear infection which made it impossible for me to walk without falling over. I couldn't get to my smoking place (garage) so had a massive forced t break and this really helped my transition. If you smoke cigarettes it's going to be doubly hard for you to transition but I would honestly say keep at it, it's worth it in the long run.
I honestly put tiny amounts in my IQ, as @sd401k said I believe this works better with a looser pack rather than tight or over filled.
Don't be disheartened you will get there. Don't focus on clouds produced too much either. If your goal is to get high without burning then focus on that. I would recommend using this with bubbler or a bong if you have access? I used some silicone tube from other vapes to go over the extended mouthpiece and make a seal to go on the end. I'm not sure where you are or what you have access to. I find that with a bong I can get deeper hits which I think will help you.
Lastly the IQ does get quite hot. My friend says it worries him but I say if he can still hold it it's not actually that hot. I think it's part of the design for the heat to radiate to the outer shell. They sell a 'glove' which is a silicone weblike cover. Looks fairly cool too. I know they are releasing a new smaller version - the mIQro which has similar design. I don't think they would do this if it wasn't safe and tested which they say the IQ is also stress tested. I see this as a good hot. Like I said in an earlier post if you touch the glass spacer after use then you will know how hot the vape actually gets. This is also why I wouldn't suggest passing the vape around between people though. I just don't think portable herb vapes are made with that use intended. The way I see these is light solo use. 2/3 times a day at most but this could just be me being extra cautious - trying to prolong the life of the device which isn't cheap for my budget. I believe desktop vapes although less convenient are more suitable for group sessions.
