So I got my first triple flame torch and couldn’t be happier. Cigar style that’s meant to be held upright, then fusion horizontally (was opposite w/single flame). Think since more of the cap is getting direct heat, the longer it’s retaining it for a single chamber extraction. Clicks just a bit quicker & I’m going only 8ish past click for dark abv :sherlock:
same im a 1 flame guy but am finding the fusion more forgiving as well as to adding heat mid cycle
Anyone have any problems with the wooden stem? I want the metal stem, for longevity, but wesleypipes don't have them in stock at the moment. I'm just weary of wood since it can crack. I've had a glass stem for the dynavap crack from the excess heat from the tip. My wooden enano has cracked from the heat, probably happened several months before the year 2 mark. I wonder how hot the metal actually gets that is touching the wood for the stem? Seems like it will get hot enough to eventually crack it.

Also, any cool accessories worth getting for the fusion/dani? These should be 14mm bong ready right?
well as far as wood we have seen the good the bad and the ugly and let me re check i thought he had them the other day... but MO if you dont try to kill the wood and dont use it as a WPA its hole life treat it like you like it they cure into sexy peace...
edit i look no luck i want a ss tip but can only get wit metal stem lmao

My bad. Using new torch with V3Ti as well.

In my opinion, the long woody with Ti tip does not get very hot. Shorty w/ fusion is a different story though.

What's the standard O-ring size for the Dani v3 tip? I'm debating between 5.5mm ID x 1mm thick or 6mm x 1mm.

Well my fusion finally came in from wesleypipesandmore. I was chatting with him since last week asking about the metal stem for the fusion, which he was waiting on it to arrive in the USA. Well he finally shipped it, only to receive the shorty wood stem and not the metal stem. After an email, Wesley is going to ship out the metal stem to me free of charge and I can keep the shorty woody. Now that is some customer service right there. He said after he packaged up all his orders, he had the metal stem sitting on the side and didn't know what order it went to.

I'm definitely going to be back and get more stuff from this site, as dude just made a customer for life with that maneuver. And the whole time asking about the metal stem, he was quick with the replies. I would definitely check them out if you in the US and dont' want to order from overseas. I just cleaned the fusion up with alcohol, and about to load up its maiden voyage.

Wes is the man. Same thing here with the stems. I just thot to myself if he was as lit as I am I’d also get confused with the abundance of orders let alone custom ones

Pretty sure it’s a side gig for him anyways

Congrats on the Dani.

I’m officially on the v3 smooth ti with metal stem thru glass (with or without water) is my favorite Dani over the fusion. The only two I have tried.

Love my smoothv3

I agree, what makes you prefer the v3 over the fusion

I forgot to mention I only use the IH cap. Very important factor.

To me, it’s twice as powerful. It’s nice to have the extra even if you don’t use it every time. I enjoy the bigger bowl which leads to better flavor. Also feel like I can get more consistent rips because the cap doesn’t seem to care where it’s heated as much or what torch I’m using.

I also think the cap is made of better material because my fusion cap has lots of patina and the v3 IH cap still looks new…

I should add that I enjoy my fusion. Just prefer the v3ti smooth with IH cap

So yall are saying that the induction heater cap will take your dani to the next level, over the standard cap? I see the OG cap is IH ready, so is that the IH cap yall speak of, or is there another IH cap?

Also with the short stem fusion, I noticed how hot the wood stem was getting to the touch. So I grabbed some copper wire I had and wrapped it around the metal stem between the wood and the cap, and so far it seems to absorb the heat before it goes down to the wood. The wood seems a lot cooler when using it now.

I haven’t noticed a difference between my v3ti without the ih cap and the v3ti I have with it I think they are both better than the fusion torch wise.

Yea the fusion with the short stem got uncomfortably hot compared to the v3ti with long

Waiting on my new to me Danivape to arrive. I bought one used from a friend who runs the vape shop Soothing Vapours up here in Canada. It's a v3. Are there any tips and tricks I should be aware of? I have a few dynavaps so I am used to this style of vape, but also know every vape (even every dynavap) is different, and I've yet to try one of these lol I don't want to waste my material burning it, so I figure I will come here and ask for beginner tips. I'll ofc be watching youtube vids once it arrives (supposed to get here on June 12th). I have a smorgasboard of different single flame torches (thanks dynavap!) As well as my Blazer Big Buddy Turbo, so I should have a torch already that'll work. Might need to pick up a cpl more cans of 'Tane though, just incase is the BBT torch that gets preferred for the Dani lol

Thanks for any help and guidance! :)

We’re talkin about the the older Dani. You got the fusion. That comes IH ready! Check out the fusion thread that’s specific to your vape. This thread is actually for all the older Dani vapes I believe.. just enjoy and master your fusion. It’s a nice vape.

IH cap difference is huge on the old one. I only heat 3-5 seconds after the click vs easy more than double on the non IH

Not for sure but I think the IH cap only fits the smooth Ti tip or fusion tip. Fusion has its own IH cap tho. Just a thought

Edit: Also that’s a neat idea with the copper. My fusion never felt uncomfortably hot to me but I also have thick skin from riding motorcycles my whole life and working with my hands…

If you have some dyna experience than the Dani and you will mesh perfectly. I’d say you have all the practice you need coming off the dyna. Keep the herbs lightly tamped and do some spinning when torching for best results.

Edit: most importantly, your Gona get way more lit off the Dani. Wayyyyyyyy more. Enjoy 🤘🏼

That was the hope! Been feeling the dwindling effects of my Dyna's lately and was offered a decent deal on a used Dani and some extras to go along with it. Glad to hear there isn't any different technique or anything. Thanks! :)

I never knew that the dani was different than the fusion on the threads, thought it was one big one for all of them. But the fusion doesn't get uncomfortably hot, I only did the copper trick to make the wood last longer. The wood doesn't get nearly as hot as what it was. I also use my hands every day of my life as well. I never wanted the wood for cracking reasons and the copper does an excellent job of absorbing the excess heat before it makes it to the wood.

I have a quick question regarding torches for the Dani V3... i hear that ppl prefer triple and quads for the Dani, but i dont have one yet. I do have a TON of single flame torches, small flame to the large Blazer Big Buddy Turbo... am I going to have to get a new torch? I'm not too thrilled about the idea of using my BBT as it PLOWS through butane, but can work in a pinch. Would it be better to seek out a multi flame small torch lighter for my Dani? It's to arrive on the 12th so I have some time :)

You really should, just the once, for science. But you can get by with anything big and bushy. The Vertigo Serpent works fine turned up high, as does the Honest Bullet. You'll get likely get hot fingers with an Aiomai (and will be counting to 15 after the click) but I've not tried this. The Vapman lighter gets there in the end, but it felt like the little train that could.

Ok perfect! Thanks! :) I will for sure try it with the BBT but i doubt I'll want to keep using it as it plows through butane WAY too fast lol was one of the reasons I slowed down on concentrates, everything having to do with them was getting expensive lol

Speaking of 'trates, how does the Dani do with them? Same idea as others, sandwich between herb? Haven't seen a dosing capsule for it yet, but tbh the dosing capsules for the DV didnt do much for me anyway lol just made the bowl smaller and was harder to take a hit lol

I'll probably hunt down a cheapo trip or quad torch lighter once the Dani arrives, but was hoping to have something already in my arsenal lol meh, another excuse to buy something i guess hahaha

I'm a massive Moroccan hash fan, and I tend to use other devices for that (Vapman in particular, also the Piro/Noisy Cricket when I want something more convection heavy). It works ok with degummed hemp fibre, but I find it a faff in comparison to the other alternatives. And if it's an opinion on how it works with shatter/crumble/rosin etc I'm not your guy, cos I've never used them. Certainly when it comes to Moroccan Hash, mixing with flower is fine when smoking, but it's terrible when vaping because the flower starts tasting well beyond toasty just about the temp the hash starts coming into its own. Like sweet fresh butter melting into burned toast. Anyway, best of luck with your experiments
