Fingers crossed fellas, the final testing has been going very well. We've released a handful to other testers so that we can expedite the testing process. I appreciate everyone's patience here, this has been one of the most difficult things we had to work through because while the glitch was minor, the repercussions would have been huge so we had to take extra steps to ensure that we not only created an awesome vaporizer but a safe one as well.

Hey Polvoman, Did you, or will you, get chance to test the new test unit yourself? Would be interested to hear you thoughts and how it performed compared to the last unit sent out.

Sorry dude but have moved out of London so very rarely see the fiend these days.
However he has said that the unit performs much better than the previous, they are in love with it over there!
He sent me a pic of the abv as my main worry is that its just not going to be as insane as the + models and it looked roasted!
They have been leaving it on all day and no probs at all, I think its time to get excited again.
Seibo, lets hope that Xmas 2014 is a reality!

Im going to try and visit Vapefiend next week to check out a few of his new vapes and do a side by side comparison, with notes this time!
Here is a more detailed response from the legend that is Vapefiend ...
"As you know I’m a low temp user, at around 1pm on the dial I get beautiful flavour and nice satisfying clouds, not a hint of burnt popcorn and that’s all that matters to me. Here at the Vapeloft we’ve been using the Cloud+ until this new Evo turned up last week and we have noticed no real difference between the two, but then we use it dry and don’t use it at high temps. We love the Evo, there is no vape that gives such nice clouds with such full flavour and no draw resistance. We leave it on all day and come back and forth to hit it and get beautiful flavour and big hits every time. The dabs it delivers, even at fairly low temps (around noon) are phenomenal. Best dabs ever! So I am absolutely satisfied that this is the best vaporizer I have tried, no question.
I know you like to roast the shit out of your herb, so against my better judgement I hammered my poor lungs and tastebuds last night by turning the temp all the way up. The attached pic is the vapo-poop after three small hits through the swagger circ on full temp. Clouds were ridiculous, herb is way too roasted for my liking, I would never go anywhere near this temp personally, but it looks like it’s done a good job to me."
You’re right it’s not really ready at 2 minutes, but if you take a couple of warm-up hits after 5 minutes at 1pm you will start to get satisfying hits. On full temp it probably took a bit longer to really start performing, but once the unit’s warmed through it stays there.
So there you have it from the most reputable source in the UK.

New line up of Glass, Turbine sidecar, Honeycomb and Matrix look like new ones percs via Vapefiend. He will also have Hydrafoot 2.0.
IMO I dont mind paying premium prices for premium products but for the past few months it looks like Vxhale have been doing quite a bit to devalue the Evo with all the Massdrop deals which im sure arent going down with retailers or anyone who has purchased/pre ordered already.
Seeing as im not a preorder or IGG im thinking maybe best to wait until another round and make sure that none are being sent back for calibration etc ...
What are your guys thoughts to the pricing with the above in mind? ...

I've got a few friends that are quite determined to get one after testing mine, but told me they would only do so after they heard the last round holds up too what is expected.
nobody really wants vapes with problems but everybody wants fast heatup and tasty clouds it seems
Price wise all think is quite expensive until they try it
Edit: I doubt pricing will be as flexible outside of the us with the distribution modell they seem to have choosen?

Hey Vaked Cow, we share a love with Halloween! Fave day of the year.
Didn't have a problem really with the price when I though about buying it last year before this all happened and agree once you have hit it its just one of those things i.e just pay the man!
Unfortunately I work in marketing for a living so have to deal with lots of premium brands who launch at a high price point and then unfortunately devalue their brand by continues sales, discounts etc and as a consumer you tend to hold out for a bargain and question original price, i.e me!
Imo I 100% see Vapexhale as an aspiring premium brand, maybe things have forced their hand with their model being they need to get the machines out and make money on the HT,s other accessories, I mean ive spent more of glass than vapes in the past two years easily and will continue to do so.
Dont get me wrong, ive waited for what seems like years for this,it was the excitement of a product like this that really helped me and many others see the light and finally come away from combusting so im pretty sure I will be there, day one with a full set up.
Just would be really gutted to do this after waiting for a year only for 6 months down the line to have missed out on a deal where you basically getting a Hydratube free.

I can feel where you aiming at but I seem to remember there was a similar discussion some months back in this thread, that there were specials that non US couldn't participate with.
Back then SM hinted that there will be specials for the rest of us too once the 220 V version is officially released.
I think we can wait for that (and hope I remember correctly ) or just ask nicely for some, once it is released.
Alternatively I suggest you write their cust sup and make them aware of the "possibillity" of extending to non us, maybe the will be grateful.
And to make sure you tried everything to not miss out on that potentially free tube ofc

I need to weigh up snubbing my family and spending the Xmas budget on the EVO or pressies ....
Also think that the Crafty launch will have taken quite a few pennies from peoples pockets and they should be releasing this NOW!

I sent VXL a message last week on Thursday or Friday, basically saying "it's good the evo is finally gonna launch soon, but If you can't ship me a working unit by Friday 21st November I want a refund on my IGG campaign purchase"
I got a reply from @stonemonkey55 saying that while he couldn't give me a confirmation of a Nov 21 ship date, that testing was going well and there would be an announcement "at the end of the week"
So basically unless there's a mighty positive announcement in the next 24 hours, I'm out of the evo wait club...
At this point I'd rather wait until there's another massdrop after the 220v launches...

Thirded. I honestly surprised I'm still waiting. I wanted to cancel earlier but just wasn't very happy with my alternatives. The EVO really would suite me well. It would be a shame but I can't stand this testing is good, will update soon thing anymore.

Last week came and went, and no announcement from VXL.

Have they even lived up to one single announcement deadline?
It feels like every damn time they say they'll be announcing something, add at least a week or 2 to that before you'll hear anything...
@stonemonkey55, it's gotten to the point where I can't tell if you are just incredibly poor at customer relations, or your company as a whole just doesn't care about international orders.
It really isn't that hard - if you say you'll make an announcement by X deadline (which is self imposed!) make a god damned announcement on that day!
Even if it's as simple as "slight delay, real announcement soon"
I hope you guys used my money well for a year and a half, but I want it back, I'm OUT.
As far as I'm concerned VXL is not a company worth dealing with anymore.
See ya guys, I sincerely hope you aren't waiting another year+...

Yeah, I think it took around 3 weeks to Germany last time, and that wasn't even during holidays. It would be nice to know how they are shipping. If I remember correctly, last time some got priority and others first class. Either way, it will be nice to finally have a shipping confirmation. Maybe my friends can finally stop making fun of me for getting "ripped off".
Yeah, itching to get that shipping email. I emailed them back telling them my address and also mentioned that I'd already paid tax, would be annoying if they didn't mark it as a replacement and I had to pay tax again. I know that you can get stuff from the US-->UK in 4-5 days but other services take at least 2 weeks. . . Will have to wait and see but it would be delightful to get it in time for christmas.
