I'm having a hard time convincing myself to spend close to $500 CAD on one as I have never used one. But damn are they beautiful and I know it's usually hard to get your hands on one
Yeah it is a fantastic home portable unit, quick rips through water, never need to use a plug in log anymore, it is so quick and effective... However if you want to spend as little as possible, go the custom route and just choose the most basic option, there are some pretty basic pre-built units (some rebuilt) that look great at very reasonable prices, but they are still exotic woods, so if you go custom it would be even cheaper btw

@funkyjunky has created so many amazing units. I’m just telling myself that there are other people that haven’t gotten one yet. That said, if any are still around after a day, I may not be able to resist my VAS…

I think it is worth it. The prices went up a bit it seems, but this is a serious portable that puts out vapor like a desktop. I would recommend it as a home portable together with some glass to hook it up to. It's really nice with the herborizer sherlock for example
Yeah the prices for the basic units are actually still the same, he just doesn't make many pre-built basic units anymore, most of them are exotic, burls, dyes, even an acrylic is quite a bit more than a painted poplar... Although the P80 mod itself adds cost, he must have the most blue ones available, because if you get red or silver it is 10 more and if you get black or bronze it is 15 more...
Agreed as I said above about it being a phenomenal home portable, I am most always using mine through water actually, because I have so much different glass, it can work with pretty much anything well, but I use other vapes with dry glass more now
Do you know of any place in the US that sells the herborizer sherlock? This thing looks amazing. It’s looks like a j-hook that stands up on its own.
Be advised it is quite expensive, there are some other options, it is also quite effective to use empty water pieces like standing dry hooks, especially ones with a fab egg, as they can offer a lot of extra cooling, there are some with spikes too but the eggs are better for cooling, Swiss holes are the best! Anyway cloud connoisseur is also going to release a standing w hook cooler called the prophet if you want to check out his glass thread there is a video with the prototype...
