My dual got updated to shipped....people should be getting their new vapes very soon.

I got the same message today, time to send one of my lesser used devices back down to the minors. For those asking about the drops, definitely go with custom. I tried to get a P80 prebuilt on an earlier drop and failed miserably. On the advice of Ralph and others, I then went for a custom P80 in the Fall drop but missed out again. I was able to get a custom dual on that extended drop day in November. So dreams do come true, sometimes. Got to start training my fast twitch keyboard finger muscles for the next P80 drop.

Any whip owners in here? Is the boro silicate mouthpiece somehow secured in one end of the whip hose or this normally just a push in piece? Was thinking of changing that end of the hose to a wpa piece.

It fits right into the whip, just like the bowl glass stem piece on the other end, so we could probably fit over a 14 mm male joint, but would be better to get a proper whip adapter, which are available many places.

It maybe means that they did opened the package, AND SAW THE RECEIPT? fuck, because from lamart company, usually write 70$ or even less on the packages , which total price of the package did they write ? if so?
they must tell u in the mail which total price they think it is for the goods u order. and 20% isn't too much but yeah it is not the best situation

probably because of the brexit my friend. I wanted to ship a package from France to England and my regular delivery company no longer delivers to the UK at this time. It's annoying for me because I buy a lot of products from England and now it's taxed. After, if it's 20% tax of 70 euros it's reasonable I think. I think the people of the UK have made the right decision on Brexit. I hope to see the same in Europe one day ... The European Union is an anomaly.
Otherwise, looking forward to the next drop !!!!!

I've been lowering the temperature the last few days, starting at 180°C/356°F and staying there for a bit before going to 190°C/374°F and finishing off with a hit or two at 200°C/392°F+. I think what threw me off a bit when I started using it was that I wasn't getting the same "harshness" I expected from those higher temps hits. That's not even the right word because it's not that it's harsh just that it's not as pure? The Tetra heater just tastes so damn clean! I'm still honeymooning but I think flavour wise this is the leader of the portable gang. I pulled out my Elev8r last night (my flavour benchmark vape) and my mind didn't instantly wander to how much better the flavour was. If a side by side is needed to know for sure that's a very good sign. I've been using water filtration for most of my hits but I like to sneak that first hit in dry for the delicious terpy goodness.

I'll have to spend some time using it as an on-demand device one of these days. I think I've taken only 1 or 2 hits on demand, I'm just really enjoying session mode and I have lots of cells to spare. I find that funny because I bought it as an on-demand device primarily but it's nice to chill and sit/rip away. I like to 3-click warm it up while I grind and pack and then it's ready to go for my first hit. My vape den is friggin cold so I expect it to hit harder once things warm up which can only mean good things.

I found the taste difference was close enough using the Tetra P80 one day and the Elev8r the next that I need to do a side by comparison to see how much of a gap (if any) there is. With every other portable I have I can tell the difference right away, more so at the higher heat levels where I seem to be able to taste the metal, plastic, silicone etc. in the vapour path but with the Tetra P80 as the temperature rises the taste stays pure. The glass present in the heater must be the ticket. I remember VapeCritic raving about the heater design and how he thought it was what made the Tetra so good (paraphrasing) and I completely agree. Using glass to store energy rather than metal just seems to be my favorite way of vaporizing.

On the flip side I feel like the Tetra heater needs a short heat soak to really shine but until I'm using it at room temperature, on demand and for a few days straight I can't say for sure. I'll happily use session mode until that time.

I am not at all dissuaded by a wood air path. eNano with Ed's stem is still one of the ultimate flavor combo's, threw all misconceptions about glass-only air paths out of the window!

The more you vape, the quicker you will realize that glass-only air paths are really not as relevant vaping versus combusting. You could not pay me to smoke out of a wooden bowl, but I'll take it in a vape all day long.

I might agree with you, but this isn't really the place for this opinion? They are different vapes despite their similarities... Yeah the Tetra heater is great, though I do still taste the metal in the heater, like I love the glass tubes and they make it so unique and effective, but the heat is still coming from the large steel coils anyway. Not the best per se in my experience, but still one of them!

You don't happen to know the metal used in the coil do you? I'm surprised I haven't tasted it at all but with thr bulk of my hits going through water maybe that's the reason?

If I got lucky during the next drop (whenever that will be if I can carve time out of work to participate - don’t worry, I’m already on the email list too), could I reference one of the pictured items as part of a custom build slot? I know my chance is slim, perhaps the first time, and I know after 2 failed custom slot attempts you’re automatically slotted for a 3rd (all well and good - except for those like myself who hate waiting, LOL). I like a few units pictured and don’t need much more customization beyond that, and I know no 2 are the same which I’m fine with. Appreciate the advice.

I friggin want a P80! It’s the only portable I’ll consider at this point based on what I’ve read herein, and it would make a great companion for my Tinymight which kicks butt. Cheers, and happy holidaze to all!

Pretty sure it is stainless steel, probably SS316 same as splinter? If you are giving it good heat soaks then you will taste it less, theoretically, but you will taste it more if you are using it on demand perhaps? (and yeah, more noticeable dry too ofcourse)

Thanks! I figured as much but wasn’t entirely sure. That’s what I will do - whenever I can actually participate in a drop. The time difference makes it a bit challenging for me and work will always come first unless there’s a weekend drop. Cheers.
