I think the extra terps may be playing a role because they can definitely irritate the throat. You're correct in thinking that convection devices may also irritate the throat as they generally require longer draws of very hot air. There are some things you can do to mitigate this though.I wish, but its the same strains I've been using for awhile.
Most likely I'm just too sensitive.... I'm normally a mouth to lung dude with my other pieces. Fairly low tolerance as well, only vaping 2-3 times a week.
Yea as far as I know I'm the only person who's had this issue so I think its probably a "me" problem. Almost everyone everywhere talks about how smooth the vapor is (they are true! I don't cough at all), but for some reason this irratation only happens with the Bowle. I use temp settings 3 and 4
First, I would keep your stem clean as much as possible. Dirty stems can irritate your throat. Then I would try taking side breaths or "pipe puffs" during your draw to help with reducing inhaled air temp.
Also, a higher temp like level 4 may sometimes be easier on your throat than level 3. Level 4 temps will vaporize your material faster leading to a shorter draw of hot air. You can kill the heater any time you like during the draw to account for things getting too hot for your throat.
Have a look at this thread. Hope it helps.

Just received my Bowle tonight and very excited to try it out. I received the short and stubby stem with my order and the short stem has the finish slightly rubbing off in a few areas. My stubby stem looks perfect. Should I be concerned about this? I read some posts from much earlier where...
